"Have you seen Nate at all?" Rosa asked while I walked her to the door the next day "Hugh has been worried about him"

"He upgraded to being a real cop, so I'm sure he's busy" I said. She nodded and looked down "what is it?"

"I just don't understand why you want me to give him a chance... I can see how much you like him. Have you told him how you feel?" I sighed and looked down, nodding "You did? What did he say?"

"I didn't give him the chance to answer. Listen, Rosa... I don't want you to think this matters. I'm okay with it. If you give him a chance, that would make me happy" I smiled "I know you like Hugh, but Hugh knows Nate likes you, so give it a shot. It won't hurt"

"Well... I guess" she frowned.

"What is it?"

"That would complicate things... Even if I give Nate a chance, there may not be a spark there. It would be awkward to go from Nate to Hugh... I'm not even sure if Hugh likes me or not, so I'm kinda stuck"

"Yeah... I get that. I won't push you to give him a chance, but it doesn't hurt. It's best to be honest in the end"

"Okay... Whenever I get the chance and if Nate ask me out, I'll go on a date with him, but I won't like it" she frowned at me "because I know you like him allot" I giggled.

"Just ignore all that. I know you will" she shrugged and looked outside the house "Want me to walk you to the airport?"

"No, I'm okay. Thank you again... Even if I'm back in this strange house, I had fun"

"What's so strange about it?" She peaked behind me into the house.

"I don't know... It just feels like someone was watching us" I'm not sure if it was my Pokémon that were being noisy, or it was the ghost Nate saw when we last came here "It was probably my imagination. I stopped coming here because I use to think there was a ghost in that house, but I'm being ridiculous" she took my hands "I had a fun time... Thank you for inviting me. I'll come back soon" I dug in my pocket and handed her a check "What is... HUH?!" She stared at the check Looker gave me the other day "W-What is this?!"

"The money I've earned during my years. Don't ask how I got it, but allot of it came from father's inheritance. I want you to take this and go to that school you wanted to go to... and make sure mother gets her best life. As well as your friends too!" She frowned at me.

"Camie! Why are you giving me this?! Why can't we share it?"

"I don't need any money. I'm fine here"

"You seriously are going to isolate yourself?! But this money! We can travel like Melanie wanted! Like how Hilda did!" I bit my lips and nodded.

"Yes... Melanie did want to travel, but she asked me to travel Unova in her place before traveling the world. I'll leave that in your hands" I hugged myself "I'm done traveling... I'll feel better in my room, like when I was a kid"

"Camie..." I hugged her one last time.

"I'll be happy to see you soon, but I'm sure you'll be busy. Put the money to good use. I love you" she hugged me back.

"You sound like I'm never going to see you again" she let go of me "I'll come to visit again. I'll do as you say and use this for school, but this is so much... We should travel soon" she ran off and stopped to wave at me "I love you! See you soon!" I waved back, watching her leave until she disappeared. As soon as she was gone, I gagged and threw up right then and there, almost collapsing on the black liquid and shut the door just in case she comes back to see me like this.

"Dammit..." I looked at the black liquid on my hands "My body grows weaker... That's why this keeps happening" I touched my face to see the liquid leaking from my eyes "I'm glad she didn't have to see that..." Chandelure came to me to help me back on my feet "Thank you..." I weakly went up the stairs with everyone helping me up the steps and into my room, where the Banettes came up to me to help rest me on the couch. I'm not suppose to use that bed yet, not until the new moon arrives to take my body away.

I closed my eyes for a moment before my Xtransceiver went off. I answered without looking at the screen and closed my eyes again, weakly "Hello?"

"Cam" I opened my eyes, but couldn't sit up "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay..." I lied "Rosa just left after spending the night" I chuckled "She said she felt uncomfortable because she felt like someone was watching her. It must've been that ghost you said you saw"

"Creepy..." I giggled "You sound tired"

"Yeah... The moon is slowly draining my energy everyday. When it's close to being a new moon or full moon, I start to leak this black liquid sometimes. Can't really explain why, but I guess my body is melting"

"I'm coming over" I smiled.

"I'm okay... You don't need to be concerned about me" I looked at everyone looking at me "I have my Pokémon with me. I even got a new Pokémon. A Rotom! It must've came here after a storm"

"Cam... Is there really not another way around this?"

"I doubt it..." I forced myself to sit up so I could look at him wearing his official uniform "Well, don't you look handsome" I giggled.

"It's all thanks to you..." I wiped my face clean so I can properly face him "You look awful"

"Awe! That's totally what I wanted to hear" I smiled "It's okay... I'm fine" I hugged my legs "I gave Rosa the money I saved up"

"I bet she was surprised"

"Yeah. I want her to go to that school she told us about. I didn't think she wanted to do something like that, but you learn something new everyday"

"Yeah..." he looked away "Cam... Listen-" I threw up onto my lap "Hey!" Nate panicked, getting closer to the screen. I cupped my mouth and coughed onto my hand.

"I-It's nothing..." I collapsed back on the couch and looked up at the sky from the window, seeing a very thin line of the moon still in the sky "Just let it end already..."

"No! Don't let it end! Stay strong!" Nate shouted "I'll be there soon, okay?!" I shook my head and brought the screen to my face again, seeing how worried he looked.

"The doors are locked. Only I can open the doors, remember? Don't bother" I sighed "I'm going to take a nap until the next day... that's when I'll be ready to end it all. I'll call you then" I lied, just to keep him from coming right now.

"Stop..." he shut his eyes "Just stop..." I smiled, wishing I can hold his cheeks and comfort him.

"I'm sorry I can't stay longer... I meant it when I said I loved you. I'm in love with you, Nate..." he opened his hurt eyes to me "But we are not meant to be. I hope you can enjoy life to the fullest. Catch those bad guys and serve justice, just like how you always wanted to do. I have to go..."

"No! Don't hang up!" I smiled for him.

"I love you..."

"Cam-" I hung up and dropped my arm tiredly, slowly falling asleep.

"I hate to leave everyone, but my body is growing weak..." I held the scar on my stomach "Father... I'm sorry I couldn't save you. If I never came home, would things be different? Would you still have been distracted when you knocked on my door to greet me? I feel like everything is my fault. I shouldn't have existed... Everything would've been fine" I closed my eyes to sleep the day away, holding my body in pain.

"An everlasting dark dream... an endless dream of darkness..." I heard someone speak in my sleep "A darkness I cannot shake... For it is the moon that determines fate" a shadow figure leaned down to look at me and hold my head

"I have chosen this fate without realizing. I miss my friends... I miss my family. I should had died with my father when I had the chance. Things would had been different" the Shadow tilted its head to the side

"But it was different... Camilla. You made it different"

"Who is this..? Who are you?" I asked. The shadow vanished and was replaced with a pure darkness I froze at the sight of. This darkness...

"I am ready..." a large shadowy hand reached for me "Come here..." I gasped and jumped up from the couch, looking at how dark it was in the room.

"It's the new moon..." I shakily looked at the candles around my bed lit up, ready for me to sleep on it "No..." I hugged myself "No... I don't want..." I sobbed "I don't want this... I didn't mean to sacrifice my body! I don't want this!" An unexpected shadow forcefully grabbed my body and forced me on the bed. I wanted to fight back so hard and reach for help, but as soon as I laid in bed, my mind calmed down.

"You will give me your body..." the darkness told me. 

"I will... give you my body" I repeated, feeling my muscles weakening. My mind started to fog and my eyes were growing heavy.

"You will fall into an eternal slumber..." I felt my tears running down my cheeks and onto my ears.

"I will... fall into an eternal slumber..." I wanted to stop myself from falling asleep, but I made the decision to give myself away. I've accepted this fate... but when I felt the fear in my body building up... I wanted it to stop. I wanted to be held...

"You have protected your loved ones" I gasped, realizing everything I've done was to protect them. My fear suddenly decreased. I'm happy... I'm happy everyone is safe and sound. That's all I ever wanted... I'm happy.

"You're happy"

"I'm happy" I smiled "I'm happy..." I closed my eyes "I sacrificed my body to save everyone... They will forget, and that's okay. I wasn't suppose to exist. If I never lived... Everything would've been okay" I sighed, feeling my body growing heavy "Oricorio... Go on" I smiled "Live life differently... I'm happy to have sacrificed everything for the sake of everyone"

"Ori..." Oricorio cried.

"I love you all... I loved everyone. They will not remember me, and that's okay" my mind transferred into darkness.

Where I stood was nothing. I couldn't even see myself. I walked around endlessly, looking for something to show up. It felt like I was walking in the dark... I wanted to reach for a hand that could guide me to the right path. Is this what nothing feels like..?

"If there was a chance I can turn back time, I want to make things different. I wouldn't be home, and father would still been alive" I sighed "I would've still been hiding... Rosa wouldn't have became different because of my disappearance. If I just didn't exist, everything would had been fine. I'm just a waste of space" I looked ahead to see an illusion of Nate smiling happily at Rosa back when we were in vacation.

"Nate..." seeing him smile like that was different than how he smiled at me "As much as I want to say I'm happy to know she can make him happy, I want to be that reason" I sighed, softly touching my neck he kissed before, unintentionally "I know it was the alcohol talking, but if something like that were to pour out someone's honesty, does that mean he actually liked me and didn't even know it?" I chuckled "Yeah right... a girl can only wish"

I stayed in this darkness for what felt like forever. I don't know how much time has passed... I was most likely dead because of my sacrifice. "I lived a happy life... I ended things off happy" I frowned "I ended off worrying Nate. I hope that doesn't effect him afterwards"

"What a stupid Pokemon..." someone's familiar voice said. What..? "Don't you have a brain to know what to do?" I couldn't make out who was talking, so I just continued to listen, but they never spoke again. A small ball of light appeared before me before dashing off at a random direction.

"What was that..?" I asked, about to go follow after it. A hand softly held my shoulder from behind.

"It is the moon that determines fate..." I quickly turned around, only to gasp when seeing Melanie smiling at me "Hello, Camie" she smiled up at me.

"Melanie..?" She nodded "Is this really happening..?"

"More or less... I wanted to thank you for fulfilling my dream of travel" she took my hand and walked me through the darkness. "You've grown since the last time we faced each other. You're a completely different person now" can't say the same about her... She's the same as I last saw her before she passed away.

"I had that darkness to blame... It gave me the strength to-"

"Darkness does not build a positive character. You build this personality all on your own. Though it was Darkrai that made you mischievous, you have always been compassionate and lovable. I've been watching you this entire time, but you weren't able to see me" she stopped walking and reached out for something in front of her I couldn't see, but it seemed to be glowing. It was that ball of light from before "I'm sorry it took so long to grab this" she turned around and gave me the dream catcher Nate's mom gave me. I gasped and softly took it in my hands "You've suffered enough... You must've been so scared this entire time. You just didn't know it. Take those feathers and wake up" I snapped my head at her smiling at me.

"No..." I shook my head "I can't wake up! Are you crazy?! I don't deserve to wake up! Not after all I've done! I've killed people! I enjoyed it!" I sobbed "No... I don't deserve this!" She held my hands to keep my grip on the dream catcher.

"That was not you... It was never you. You are not evil... You are a shy girl with a big heart. You deserve to live. These feathers protected you... Darkrai is gone. It can't get you anymore through this protection" she smiled big "You get to live!" I cupped my mouth.

"I... I don't know what to say" she nodded.

"You don't have to say anything... All I have to say is... I'm sorry it took so long" she held my cheek "Everyone has forgotten... but physical touch is important to those who have known your story before" my eyes widened at the familiar words "Good luck..." my body twitched in response to my waking. I groaned at how my body felt and felt it difficult to move.

"It's not possible..."
