I hissed at the pain I received after a sudden Pokémon attacked me as Nate and I were traveling route 6 "dammit..." I glared at the wild legendary Pokémon glaring at me while Nate stood between us.

"What does this thing want?" Nate asked, using Dewott to help him. I held onto my bloody arm and quickly searched for aids in my bag to stop the blood from running and fix the cut "Why did you attack for no reason!?" He shouted at the Pokemon, who was growling towards me. I sent a glare it's way, making it step back and flee.

"Not the first time this happened..." I took out some thread after the bleeding stopped and started tying my stitches.

"W-What are you doing?!" Nate freaked out that I was using a needle to stab my skin without flinching "You're not suppose to have tools!"

"I'm pretty sure a needle would be too hard to find in this big bag. Relax. That's not what we should be worried about" I was angry we had to be stopped by a big Pokémon of all things. I really didn't feel like making my own stitches today, especially how we've been camping in this route while I'm still sick.

"What happened here..?" Rood came walking to us with a man we never seen before. I ignored them and made sure the stitches were on correctly while Nate picked up my Pokédex next to me to show them what attacked us "this Pokémon..."

"It attacked Cam out of nowhere!" Nate said.

"That's the legendary Pokémon called Cobalion! I told you the story the other day, right?" The old man told Rood "they say that the three Pokémon Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion fought against people to protect Pokémon from the war those people started... When people fight, there's no peace for Pokémon either. But... Why did it attack this young lad?" He came up to see what I'm doing "Has something happened that troubled it?"

"That's just it. We weren't doing anything!" Nate said. I ignored everyone, feeling cranky about being out here without a shower for days, and stood up to leave "Cam!"

"Can we just go already?" I cleaned the wound one last time before walking away. Nate hurried to stand by my side while I was shaking in anger "So annoying"

"Are you okay?" I snapped at him.

"Do I look okay?!" He lifted his hand in defense "We're in this stupid route and we haven't had a place to shower! I feel gross!"

"C-Cam... We've camped before" I started getting emotional and pushed him away from me "What did I say?!"

"I'm so lucky I'm wearing black" I started sobbing "I just want to shower!" Nate looked at me strangely before cupping his mouth, knowing why I was acting like this.

"Don't you have any-"

"No! Thats the point!!" I stomped on the floor "I don't have any! I didn't think it would come early! And not to mention I got fucking attacked by some legendary Pokémon! What are the odds!?" He looked like he was having trouble controlling me, though it wasn't really in my control. I can stop the tantrum, but I'm so uncomfortable.

We entered Chargestone cave, which had strange looking rocks that were floating mid air. Nate saw something from a distance and waved at them "Excuse me! Can we get some help!?" Why did he have to say it so loud?!

The girl he was calling was Bianca! She turned around confused and gasped when seeing me "Oh! It's a coincidence seeing you again, Camilla!" She smiled and looked at Nate "And your travel buddy? What a cutie" Nate nervously laughed while I gave her the evil eye. She didn't really seem to notice "How's your journey going?"

"It's fine, but I need some help. You're a girl, so..." I blushed, never asking this from another girl before "Do you have any..?" I got too embarrassed that I had to whisper in her ear. She lit up like a lightbulb and took out what I needed.

"I think you should use some of these too" she gave me some wet towelettes

"Arceus... You're a live savor!" I started crying again. Bianca giggled and pet my head. 

"It's the least I can do! Girls have to stick together! I'm sure you need to take care of it now, so go behind this rock while I keep guard" I nodded and went to do what I had to do while Bianca kept guard "You know, I'm here on Professor Juniper's request! I'm researching a Pokémon called Tynamo! But there aren't very many, and they don't seem very strong"

"If they're not very strong, that should be easier on you" I finished and jumped to hug her from behind "You're a life savor! I still haven't showered in days, but thank you!"

"No problem!" I waved to Nate standing out in the distance, observing the electric rocks "How about we find a way out of this place together? The next city isn't very far from here" I put my hands together.

"Thanks! You have no idea what it feels like to travel with a guy for the pass couple of months!" We waved Nate over so we can start finding the way out of here. Nate walked behind us a few steps away while Bianca and I talked.

"I bet it's crazy traveling with a boy" Bianca smiled "he's being respectful, right?"

"Of course! He's a good guy. I can trust him to help me out" I looked down "I didn't realize this before, but I caught feelings..." I said a bit low.

"That's so cute!" I smiled.

"Yeah, but he likes Rosa. I don't blame him. She's great"

"Why don't you tell him how you feel before he does to her?"

"I don't expect him to feel the same way. I don't think it's a good idea to feel the same way, yet my heart beats so fast when he protects and takes care of me. That's his job, and I keep telling myself that, but he knows about my past. He's only giving me pity"

"Oh dear, you may not understand love. You're far too young to understand, but your heart is telling you how you're feeling, while your brain is pushing you away. You can't think for anyone. Even if he likes another person, releasing what you hold in your heart will lift any burden, even if it may not be what you want it to be" she played with her fingers.

"Cheren liked Hilda for years, since we were little. He didn't make it obvious, but I noticed. I noticed because my heart sees what cannot be hidden. He looks at Hilda the same way I do at him. We were both hiding our feelings, and when Hilda chose N, I told Cheren how I felt. I didn't let him answer because I didn't want to overwhelm him, so I just worked to get my mind out of everything until he showed up after looking for me for awhile" she smiled at me "So you see, I was expecting him to regret me, but he wanted to get to know me, because I never really expressed how I felt about him. He didn't know that side of me. Camilla, Nate might not like you, or he might, but he should consider your feelings" I stopped walking and hugged her "oh!"

"That's the best advice you could had given me..." she hugged me back "I don't know when I can tell him, or even will do it at all, but I understand. Thank you" she pet my head with a giggle and pointed at the exit where light shine through.

"There's the exit to Mistralton City! You two should get going. I still have some research to do" she patted my shoulder "good luck" she waved to Nate and walked away. Nate walked up to me and pushed my head down.

"Hey!"

"What were you two talking about? You better not have given her advice like last time" I pouted.

"No! It was girl talk!" I looked away "You wouldn't understand. She actually gave me some really good advice"

"Did she?" I nodded "What did she say?" I shook my head and pulled on his arm.

"Let's go already!" I laughed and ran over to the closest hotel we can find and got ourselves a room. Strangely enough, we arrived at the airport I arrived from. Due to complications, many people are stuck in their hotel rooms and there was only one room available with one bed. It was like this everywhere else, so it can't be helped.

"Sharing a bed?" Nate questioned "I'll just take the couch to whatever is available" I giggled and hugged his arm.

"Awe! You don't want to sleep with me? We can cuddle" he looked annoyed and moved away from me, which I laughed at. It's nice to just tease him instead of being so shy and nervous to know that he may hear my heartbeat if he stands too close.

"I'm a brand new woman!" I cheered after getting out the shower "Finally!" I jumped onto the bed with my arms in the air "A shower and a bed! Nothing is better than this!" I looked at Nate sitting at the end of the bed, looking at something. I crawled over to see what it was. He was looking at his Xtransceiver "What do you see?" He looked under his arm to see me peaking. 

"Oh, my bad. Sorry" he looked back at it "I was just remembering something"

"What did you remember?"

"A number" a number? "Someone's phone number appeared on my Xtransceiver on my missed call list when we didn't have signal in the route. It's..." he frowned. Who ever called him must be bothering him, so I got up and hugged his head from behind "Cam?" I chuckled.

"Let's go get a bite to eat! I'm literally starving!" He turned to face me and showed me his device.

"Remember when we went to the seasonal lab that studies seasons of whatever? And that Cheren said something about a sudden drop in temperature near Lacunosa Town?" I laid on my stomach

"Yeah, that it dropped to -58 degrees Fahrenheit for a moment, and it kinda happened around Castelia and Driftveil" I held my chin "Something that could would be horrible. Why? Why do you mention it?" He sighed and looked at his Xtransceiver.

"My mom lives in Lacunosa Town" I was shocked to hear this "I'm kinda worried about her, even if she doesn't claim me as her kid" He groaned and laid back on the bed, but ended up laying on my lower back. I don't think he noticed.

"Does she even know you're a cop?"

"No"

"I'm sure she'll lighten up when she learns that you turned a new leaf. Still don't know what you did, but it couldn't be that bad" he stared at the ceiling before reaching over his head to feel what he was laying on. I flinched when he placed his hand where it shouldn't be and watched him jump out when he realized what just happened "geez" I chuckled, sitting up "If you want to touch me, you can just say so" I teased. His face went immediately red.

"I didn't know! Shut up!" I laughed and rolled over the bed to lay on my back, laughing at his reaction. It never gets old!

He groaned and moved the curtain from the window to look at the rain outside "Do you want to order something in?" Litwick appeared beside me and started flying around the room "You still haven't caught that thing?" He searched in his bag to toss me a Pokéball "Here. I guess I should had given that to you before" I caught the blue ball.

"Thanks!" I looked at Litwick look at me confused "We're going to go somewhere to eat. You should stay in this ball until it's time for lunch!" Litwick cheered and went in without question.

"Good grief" Nate sighed "it's about time you did that. The little thing would not stop laying on my head" I chuckled and got ready to head out after Nate showered. We ran through the rain and found a nearby café with a rooftop patio.

"This is so cool" I smiled, sitting down "sitting under the rain with this roof covering our heads, watching the view from up here, and listening to the soothing sound is so romantic!" Nate looked at his menu without a comment "I'm so hungry!" I whined and scanned the menu, wanting to get everything.

"Oh! I recognize you!" A familiar woman came walking to us and faced me "You're Camilla!" I stood up after recognizing her "it's nice to finally be able to to talk to you in person! I'm Professor Juniper!" I gladly shook her hand.

"I know! It's nice to meet you! This is my guard, Nate" Nate stood up and shake her hand before I offered a seat so we can all sit together "I didn't think I'd get to meet you in person, but here you are! Bianca was in Chargestone cave, so I don't know why I didn't put two and two together" I smiled and took out my Pokédex "Lookie! Lookie! I analyzed as many Pokémon as I could!" She took the Pokédex to look through.

"Oh my! You have seen over 100 Pokémon! That's quite the accomplish...ment" she slowed down after scrolling for awhile "You saw this legendary Pokémon?" She was talking about the Pokémon that attacked me earlier this morning "Fascinating! You must be one heck of a trainer!" I nervously laughed, not thinking so "It's nice to see two trainers traveling and getting to know Pokémon" She told me and Nate "If I may ask, I need a favor, but first, where do you plan on going next?"

"We're looking for my friend and her sister, Rosa. All we can really do is travel straight" Nate said before speaking to a waiter and ordered for us while Juniper noticed I was staring out at the rain.

"Something wrong?" She asked. I looked back at her and waved my hands.

"Oh, nothing. Just listening to the rain is all" I lied. She smiled and stood up after the waiter left.

"I came here to grab a bite to eat while I wait for Skyla to show up. She's this city's gym leader. I asked her to fly me pass twist mountain to Lentimas Town, since I can't get to Opelucid city by foot. She's been gone for awhile. It's causing trouble for the airport. Apparently she has the keys to the fuel tanks to fill the planes these people need to take, but I'm guessing she's still busy in Celestial Tower"

"Oh! That sounds majestic!" I gasped "What's the Celestial tower?"

"It's where Pokémon go to rest" Nate said "So you're saying we can't get to Opelucid city by foot?"

"Correct. The tunnel leading there had collapsed, so Skyla is my only hope of crossing it. If you're in need to travel straight, I can offer you a ride with us in exchange for this favor" I looked at Nate.

"I don't mind! Since we'll be traveling forward anyway!" Nate nodded, agreeing. Juniper chuckled. 

"Then it's settled then. You two enjoy your lunch. I'm going to wait for my carry out and talk on the phone for awhile. I'm sure we'll be done at the same time" Juniper waved and went downstairs. I hummed to myself and watched our waiter give us our drinks and food at the same time! Wow! That was fast!

"I can eat a whole Miltalk!" I hummed a song while eating. Nate chuckled.

"What got you so happy?"

"We're going to Lentimas Town!" He shook his head, still not understanding "that's where me and my father use to live" Nate's face went pale. I hummed and danced in place happy to be eating and excited to go back home.
