I sat in a tree while watching Rosa and her friends having the time of their life training and getting to know their Pokémon. I smiled at their cute young faces and looked at Oricorio staring down with them.

"It's amazing how we're able to experience this first hand. If I show myself to them, I know things will be different, but that's kinda scary" Oricorio looked at me "we'll just have to see how things end up" I leaned on the tree and closed my eyes "Remember when I couldn't stay up once the sun sets? It's crazy how safe things use to be in the route for little kids like us to be out this late" I dozed off for a bit after how much I've freaked out today. One moment I was watching everyone have fun and laughing, then heard nothing but silence. Oricorio flapped her wings to wake me up, showing me that everyone was gone.

"Huh?" I jumped off the tree and looked around "this is the moment everyone accidentally separated. I wasn't even awake to know how this happened in the first place" I heard a growing sound from somewhere. I flinched and looked around. A wild Pokémon..?

I pointed at Oricorio "Hurry and look for Rosa!" Oricorio flew off while I looked around myself, making sure this wild Pokémon doesn't cause any trouble. This must've been what happened before they separated... "Of all things... A wild Pokémon" I glared and jogged off to find anyone before Oricorio came back to me "Find them?" She flew off to lead me to where Rosa and Hugh were holding each other while Rosa was crying "Rosa!" I called, running up to her. She jumped and hurried to take my hands.

"Camie!" She cried and hugged me. I hugged her back and looked at Hugh looking at me surprised with Nate nowhere in sight "Nate's gone! We heard a growling sound and ran! I'm scared!" I pulled her away and wiped her tears away.

"Don't worry, I'll look for him" she looked surprised before I turned to Hugh "Please take care of her for me. The best thing you can do is climb a tree so you'll know you're safe"

"Who are you?" He asked. Rosa went back to hugging him and crying "Nevermind..." he held her close "I'll take care of her" I smiled and ran to another direction. I saw Oricorio leading again and eventually found a little boy crying against a tree while holding his Oshawatt. I hide behind a tree and watched him crying and scared. Nate...

"I need to stop crying... I'm supposed to be the tough one" he sniffled "I'm going to be a police one day! I-I..." he sniffled and hugged his Pokémon close. Poor thing... He was so little back then. It makes me sad to see him like this.

I took a deep breath and walked over to him with a hankie I packed today for this moment. He looked up confused to see me offering him my hand "Are you okay?" I smiled "Don't worry. Let's get out of here" his eyes widened before hurrying to take my hand and stand up. He quickly wiped his face so he could pretend he wasn't crying, but I gave him the hankie anyway.

"I'm glad you're okay" I smiled, watching him staring at me while his Oshawatt tried reaching for the hankie. He didn't say anything, but I knew he was thinking I'm Rosa at the moment. It's too dark to see the color of my hair and eyes, so I let it be and offered my hand "Let's get back. It's too dangerous out here-" we froze at the sound of growling. I kept Nate behind me while I looked around for whatever that noise was coming from. This never happened in our childhood!

"Oricorio!" I called, watching her fly to stand in front of us "Use-" the Pokémon that was growling came out the darkness and into the light. I stopped and relaxed my body "Keldeo?" I went over to it to pet its head, hearing the growling sound coming from its stomach "That's embarrassing" I giggled and took out some berries I packed for the road "You scared us"

"Ke!" It smiled. This Pokémon must know who I am like Oricorio. I waved it goodbye after it ate and turned to Nate watching me amazed, which made me chuckle "Now that that's done" I offered my hand "Let's go get the others and head home. It's too dark for kids like us" he took my hand and followed me to where Hugh and Rosa should be hiding.

"We're back!" I yelled, making them get out of the tree and Rosa coming to hug me and cry. I chuckled and hugged her back, letting go of Nate watching us confused.

"I was so scared! I'm so glad you're okay!" She cried up at me. I chuckled and pet her head.

"There there" I hugged her head "You're so cute!" I can't get enough of little Rosa! "It's gotten pretty late. Let's go home now" I looked at Nate staring at me before smiling at him and walked away so we can arrive back to the city that's much quieter than it is in a few years.

We walked in silence the entire time. I hummed a little song while we walked the sidewalk, to calm everyone down "You two are twins?" Hugh finally asked. Rosa and I turned around to face the boys next to each other. Nate looked down for some reason.

"Yes!" Rosa said proudly "She spends most of her time at home! She's homeschooled!" I nodded, agreeing "You was so cool earlier! You looked like you was on a mission!" Her eyes sparkled, making me chuckle and look back at Nate peaking at me.

"I don't think the route was the best place to train. Why don't you guys find a wide open area in the city?" They looked at each other "We are only kids, so the front of our houses is wide enough for a battle. Let's not go out there again, alright?" I turned to Rosa "I think I'm going to go on a walk" she looked confused.

"You are?" I nodded "want me to join you?" I shook my head and smiled at the boys.

"It was nice knowing you, but I need some time alone" I waved and headed to a random place since there's no outlook yet. I found a flower shop that's still open and saw my favorite flower outside "I love this one" I leaned down to smell it "it smells so good-" I flinched when I saw a spirit fixing the flowers next to me. I didn't expect to see a ghost around here.

I pretended I didn't see it and went on exploring with Oricorio on my shoulder, ignoring someone following me. I found a bench to sit on and sighed up at the sky, looking at the full moon "I didn't expect you to bring me back in time" I said "It was nice actually letting Nate know that it was me that saved him, but if it's okay... I would like to see my dad. I miss his hugs..."

"Consider it done" Cresselia said. I got off the bench and looked over at Nate walking up to me.

"Nate?" I questioned "what are you doing here? I thought you were with Rosa and..." he lifted his hand to show me my favorite flower in blue. This made my heart race "What's this?" I walked up to him to take the flower and smelled it "So pretty" I smiled.

"I-I saw that you liked it so I took it..." he nervously said.

"You didn't steal this, did you?" He flinched.

"N-No! I'm going to be a police one day! I would never steal!" I giggled "The shop owner is my mom's friend, so I asked to take one... I just wanted to say thanks for finding me" he looked down "and... can you pretend you didn't see me cry?"

"Why?"

"I'm supposed to be the tough one... I'm not allowed to cry" I smiled and reached to hold his cheek, surprising him.

"Don't be silly. Everyone cries sometimes. It shows the compassion in our hearts. You were scared. It was reasonable. Don't be embarrassed because of something even an adult would be scared of. We are not invincible. We are human who expresses emotions differently, but what we have in common with those emotions is that it makes us feel. We choose how to control our image, our personality, and our future with it. Just because you cry now, doesn't mean you can't cry later. It's okay to cry... as long as you do your duty in protecting those you care about, who cares?" he sniffled and wiped his nose.

"You said duty" I giggled at his childishness "Still... thanks. I don't know what could had happen if it wasn't for you" I pet his head "You're Rosa's sister... does that mean I'll see you again?" He looked so determined to see me again. It was so cute... I love him so much.

"Maybe" I leaned forward to kiss his cheek, making his face turn bright red "I look forward to it" I closed my eyes and felt my surroundings change. I was in a bus going somewhere, most likely back home to dads place. I looked out the window to see a bunch of construction everywhere.

"What year is it?" I wondered "What time did Cresselia take me to this time?" I looked at Oricorio sleeping on the chair next to mine, then looked at my hands "I'm a bit older... I only asked if I can see my dad. I hope it's not the day I think it is..." I gulped and waited for the bus ride to be over. Here goes nothing...

I looked up at my dads house nervously, seeing that it was in better shape compared to it being abandoned. The windows weren't cracked and there were no weeds anywhere "So far so good..." I nervously looked at Oricorio "I have a bad feeling about this..." I took a deep breath and entered the house with a key I had in my pocket.

The inside was in great shape. The floors were new and there wasn't dust everywhere! "It looks nice..." I felt strange in this house... It felt like someone else was in here. Did I not notice it before when I came home that day?

My dad informed me through the phone that he'll be home late. Hearing his voice again made my skin crawl. This... This is definitely a bad day.

"I can't do this..." I hugged myself, shaking "All I wanted was to see my dad again. It's not safe here" I looked around. Oricorio was also cautious "Maybe I should wait for him outside... Yeah" I turned to the door "That's the best thing to do" the memory of him getting killed haunted my brain. I covered my ears to hide the screaming he did "I was so young... I don't want to experience that again"

I stayed outside the entire time, scared to go back inside. I was shaking against the door and waited for dad to come home. I want to see him out here... not in there. I abandoned that place for good. It's just a horrible memory.

"Please..." I held onto my dream catcher "I won't make a sacrifice... but if I need strength, please give it to me" I heard footsteps coming towards me. I snapped my head up to see my dad coming over to me with a gift box in hand.

"What are you doing out here, shortie?" He teased me. I stood up and quickly hugged him as hard as I could.

"Dad!" I cried. He put the box down and quickly hugged me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I sobbed onto his chest "Did something happen?" I miss him... I miss him so much. I finally get to hug him one last time.

"T-There's..." I shakily looked at the door "There's someone in there" he pulled me behind him and pulled out his gun, instantly freaking me out "D-Dad!"

"Stay out here and look for a place to hide. Don't come out until I say so" I grabbed his arm.

"No! Please..." I cried up to him "I don't want you to die!" He looked at me "I want to explore, dad. I want your support! I don't want anything happening to you!" He frowned at me before we heard a crash in the house. I cried out as he pushed me to find somewhere to hide and hurried into the house. I shakily tugged on my dream catcher, begging for nothing bad to happen.

"Please..." I begged "Don't let him get hurt-" I heard dad screaming. I gasped and hurried into the house, looking for him in this big house. I saw someone standing up at the second floor holding a gun towards the wall. Dad was holding his bloody shoulder. My heart dropped.

"I finally got you where I want you" the intruder laughed. Oricorio lifted me up to the second floor without making a sound. Dad saw me, with a knife in his shoulder, and groaned. I was too scared to move or do anything.

"Got anything else to say before I blow your brains out?" The intruder laughed. I tugged on my dream catcher. I have to do something...

"Give me strength... Give me strength... Please..." I said in my head, praying for a solution.

Something shined in my bag. I hurried to grab whatever it was and saw a pocket knife "If you ever need to defend yourself" dad's voice reminded me in a memory of when he got this for me "use this" I gulped at the thought of holding a knife again. I swore to myself I'll never go this low to kill someone again, but... I have to save him.

I held the knife in position before throwing it into the intruder's neck, instantly killing him. I dropped to my knees, shaking so hard it felt like the house was shaking. It wasn't at all like how it was when I first killed him. I want to scream.

"Camilla..." dad gasped. I sobbed and hurried to his side to put pressure around the knife on his wound "You..."

"I'm sorry! I couldn't just let this happen. Not again" I cried "I'm sorry... I didn't want to kill him, but... I couldn't lose you" he pet my head to calm me down.

"You did good. You used the knife I gave you. You did good" he applied pressure on his wound while I hurried to look for supplies to help him while calling the police. It wasn't a good idea to call them here in a house full of drugs, but it was better than keeping medical attention away from my dad when he needed it. After treatment, he ended up getting arrested. I hugged him one last time before he was taken away. Looker stood beside me after everything progressed after his treatment.

"What you did was self defense. You are not in trouble" he pet his head "You turned in a criminal with a reward on his name, as well as your own father" I closed my eyes "I'm sorry you had to experience all that, but I'll make sure you receive your check. Everything else will be discussed another time" he meant the money my dad had in the bank "Do you need a ride home?"

"Looker-san" I said "I would like to turn in some more criminals, if that's okay with you" he looked surprised.

"Do you know anymore?" I smiled, looking down at the Kalimba that came from the gift box my dad got me from his travels.

"Only the most wanted criminals in Unova as of now. Also... In the future, it will be a man named Ghetsis ruling over a organization called Team Plasma. Leave it on hold for now" I gave him directions to where my kidnapping took place "Keep the reward" I giggled "I'm just glad I got to take care of everything. I'm happy I got to experience this, even if I was scared" I shed a tear before closing my eyes and put my hands together "I had enough... I would like to go home now" Looker nodded and I blinked one more time to see the sky above me. I sat up to see myself in my ranch again, and Nate sleeping beside me.

"Nate?" I shook his shoulder to wake him up. He woke up and yawned while sitting up "Did you fall asleep?"

"I guess we both did. I had a weird dream" I smiled and hugged him to the floor "whoa! Hey!" I giggled and climbed on top of him "C-Cam!" He blushed as I leaned down to kiss him. He panicked at first, but calmed down and held me close. I let go and smiled at him "what's gotten into you-" he watched a tear fall on his face "What's the matter?"

"I wish I knew what I knew now and fixed the mistakes I made back then" he frowned "but it doesn't matter now. I'm happy the way I am. I have so many friends and a great career. I'm lucky to be where I am now" I laid down next to him "With the man I love" he moved my hair to the back of my ear.

"I wouldn't be here either without you" he kissed my hand "I hoped you liked the flower I gave you" my eyes widened. He leaned into me to kiss me, melting my heart and shedding tears of relief "I only wished I knew it was you that found me" I giggled and picked up a cookie I hid to give to him. He stared at it before sweat dropping "Seriously?" I laughed and hugged him tightly, glad I got the chance to see how I got to change things, but I'm happy the way things turned out <3
