Lauren and James aka Ryan were born December 6th to parents that weren't soulmates but their parents didn't realize until Lauren and Ryan were five. Their parents divorced and split everything. Lauren moved to New York with their Dad and Ryan stayed in Georgia with their Mom. They ended up growing up without ever seeing each other again. In New York, Lauren met her best friend Ray Narvaez Jr - who was also born to parents that weren't soulmates - and she was able to see the color blue, only blue - what will soon be Ryan's favorite color.

When their father died, Lauren and Ryan were only eighteen. Lauren decided to reach out to any of the family from before they moved to New York to tell them about his passing and invite them to the funeral. That's when Ray and Ryan met and they both were able to see color, except Ryan couldn't see red, what will soon be Lauren's favorite color.

Lauren wanted to get out of New York because she didn't want to be around all the memories of her father and she also wanted to be able to reconnect with her brother. The three of them ended up moving to Austin. Their boss is Geoff Ramsey and their coworkers are soulmates which are Michael Jones and Gavin Free as well as Jack Pattillo.

After six months of working together they discovered they would make an awesome band with Geoff on drums, Michael and Ryan on bass guitar, Jack on piano, Ray and Gavin on guitar and with Lauren singing. They are Off Topic.
