Jackie's POV

"What?" Elizabeth and I ask him shocked.

"I know, curious isn't it?" he asks us smiling.

"Why did you not vote for me?!" Jocard demands. And all the pirate lords start to argue again. As Captain Teague continues to play his guitar.

"Am I to understand that you lot will not be keeping to the code, then?" Jack asks them. Captain Teague breaks a guitar string and the room goes silent. Mistress Cheng stands up from her seat.

"Very well, what say you Captain Swann, king of the Brethren Court?" she asks Elizabeth.

"Prepare every vessel that floats. At dawn, we're at war" Elizabeth declares.

  "And so, we shall go to war" SeSumbhajee agrees in his high squeaky voice. Barbossa signals Ragetti and he makes off with the pieces of eight. Jack and I turn to his father.

"Jacqueline darling" he says smiling and hugs me. He then gives Jack a look.

"What? You've seen it all, done it all, you survived. That's the trick, isn't it? To survive" Jack asks him.

"It's not just about living forever, Jackie. The trick is, living with yourself and Jacqueline, forever" Captain Teague tells him.

"How's mum?" Jack asks him and he holds up a shrunken head. "She looks great" Jack tells him. I grab Jack's hand smiling.

"Edward, lovely to see you again. We have news for you" I tell him.

"Good news I hope" he says smiling.

"Great news" we tells him smiling.

"We finally tied the note" Jack states and Edward frowns.

"I thought I was going to perform the ceremony?" he asks us slightly disappointed.

"We were going to have you do it, but due to current circumstances. We wanted to do it as soon as possible. So we had Hector do it" I explain a hand on my stomach. He looks at it and smiles brightly hugging us both.

"Congratulations" he says. "I take it this means you won't be in the battle tomorrow?" he asks me.

"Do you not know me Edward?" I ask him smirking.

"Of course you're going to be in it" he sighs. He turns to Jack. "Keep her safe son, you won't find another like her" he orders.

"Don't worry, I don't plan on losing either of them" Jack assures him. "But we must rest for the battle tomorrow. Hector is seeing to the preparations for the Black Pearl as the flag ship" he states. Captain Teague nods his head and we leave the room.

(Next morning)

Jack and I had not got much sleep last night. But we're ready for the fight. Both armed with a sword and a pistol. I even have a knife in my boot. I wearing my old pirate clothes as they are more comfortable for fighting.

Anyway Jack, Elizabeth and Barbossa had gone to a sand pit. To talk to Cutler Beckett, Davy Jones and my twin Will. Turns out he had escaped the brig as predicted and had left the ship with Jack's compass. Which had lead them to Ship Wreck cove. I have a feeling it has something to do with Jack's secret plan. Though he hasn't told me what it is. But I trust him to make the right decision.

I stand by Gibbs waiting for Jack, Elizabeth and Barbossa to return. Will there be a battle or truce? "Gibbs, I'm going to go see Tia Dalma. Alert me when the others return" I tell him. I beckon Pintel and Ragetti to come with me. We go to the cell holding Tia Dalma. "Once the others return, you shall be released" I tell her.

"Do not worry, I shall keep my word to Barbossa" she tells me.

"I know you will, Pintel and Ragetti. Tie her up and bring her up when you hear the others return" I instruct. They nod their heads and I leave them returning to the deck. The others soon arrive and I see Will. I hug him tightly and then frown when I see no Jack.

"Elizabeth gave him to Beckett, but I'm sure he'll return during the battle" Will tells me.

"Of course, no one could deny her decision as pirate king" I grumble. Pintel and Ragetti appear with Tia Dalma.

"Barbossa, you can't release her" Will states.

"We got to give Jack a chance" Elizabeth adds.

"We will, but Calypso must be set free" I tell them. I pull Sao Feng's necklace off Elizabeth's neck and drops it in bowl with other pieces of eight.

"Be there some sort of rite or incantation?" Gibbs asks Barbossa.

"Aye. Items to be brought together... done. Items to be burned. And someone must speak the words, 'Calypso, I release you from your human bonds'" Barbossa explains.

"That's it?" Ragetti and I ask him.

"It was said it must be spoken as if to a lover" Barbossa tells us. I roll my eyes, this should be amusing. "Calypso, I release you from your human bonds!" he declares as he attempts to light the pieces of eight. But nothing happens and I laugh.

"You have never had a girl friend, have you Hector?" I ask him smirking.

"You didn't say it right, you gotta say it right" Ragetti states. He steps forward and whispers Calypso's name gently. "I release you from your human bonds" he whispers in her ear. The bowl levitates and the items catch fire. As Tia Dalma starts to grow.
