Chapter 17: The Feeling of Being Useless

Tsuki's POV
After finding out that we were escorting Idate during the race, we kind of went our different ways. I mean Naruto went with Idate and the rest, meaning Sasuke and Sakura, leaving me being the involuntary third wheel went to look at the town like tourists. Sakura kept attaching herself to Sasuke's arm like glue, to tell the truth I kind of feel bad for him. I mean he's always followed by a bunch of annoying girls. Every girl in Konoha except for Hinata and I follow, or should I say stalk him.

Anyways we're walking down the crowded streets that are filled with tourists. I'm guessing they're all excited about the Wasabi and Wagarashi race that happens every four years. I mean it is kind of interesting to see the families run to see who wins and gets to rule the village by their own rules.

All was going peacefully, that was until a Wagarashi member caused a commotion. He's picking on a store owner not to far from me.

"You need to pay your money. If you don't pay, I'll shut down your store and make you lose everything you have" he says to the store owner.

"I can't. I don't have enough money, give me a few more days and I'll pay you the money" the owner replies, debating.

"I didn't say a few days, I said now" the Wagarashi member says as he starts to get angry.

"But I told you that I don't have money" the owner complains.

"Well then, as you didn't pay, then I'll draw to drastic measures" the man says as he runs towards the owner with a fist raised, trying to land a hit on his face.

In a flash of blue, I watch as Sasuke stops the punch with his hand. He stands in front, protecting the store owner from the Wagarashi member. He glares daggers at the man, if looks could kill that man would be buried so deep in the ground that no one would hear his screams.

"Who are you, you punk?!" the Wagarashi man says angrily.

"That's none of your concern" Sasuke states cooly.

"Oh really now" he says to Sasuke as he tries to punch him with his other hand.

I don't know what happened, but my legs moved on their own. As I ran, I moved in front of Sasuke and kicked the man in the stomach. After the quick kick to the gut he goes flying back to the ground behind him. I cross my arms over my chest as I stand in front of Sasuke, glaring at the man below me.

"I could've handled it" Sasuke mutters from behind me.

"Yeah I know, but I wanted to have fun" I say without looking back at him.

"Tch, show off" he retorts.

"Says the person who's great at everything" I say.

"Hn" he says, going back to his habit of lacking words.

"I suggest you leave, before we embarrass you" I say to the Wagarashi member who's currently on the floor.

Without wasting a second, the man runs off to some random direction, leaving me, Sasuke and the store owner behind. I turn back to my arrogant teammate and smirk at my victory. He just rolls his eyes at my antics and leaves. I follow behind him, leaving the man to tend at his shop.

Walking back to the direction where we came from, Sakura doesn't waste a moment before attaching herself to the Uchiha. Once again I'm left behind as a third wheel to their involuntary relationship.

Today is the day where the race happens. It's the day where a member of each family participate as a runner takes a chance at winning. The prize being the rule over the Land of Tea.

Right now there was a man explaining the details to the race, which only made me zone out and ignore them. I came here to protect an escort, even if that escort annoys the hell out of me. So I don't need to listen, because Sakura uses her memory and soaks the information like a sponge, leaving her responsible to give the us the information later in the mission.

"Ready. Set.....GO!!!" the announcer yells.

In that moment both Fukusuke and Idate spring into action and race towards the dock. Seeing as the race started our mission starts now. All members of Team Seven follow in suit of Idate, our mission is to protect him at any costs since the Wagarashi family probably paid off some thugs to hurt him. All goes smoothly, well that was until Idate made a turn, steering to his left.

"What is he doing?!"

"Is he dropping the race?"

"Where is he going?!"

"He's going the wrong way!!!"

"That idiot, he's going to ruin our chance of winning this race"

Many members shout as Idate turns, going the wrong direction. The Wasabi family members start to doubt him, seeing as he ran toward the forest.

"Lord Jiròchò, are you sure you made the right decision in choosing Idate to run this year" a man besides the Wasabi's leader asks.

"I believe in him" Jiròchò says before turning.

We pass both families and run after him, I look up ahead and see a cluster of clouds appear on the edge of the horizon. I smirk at the realization, finally finding out why Idate chose the path he ran.

A storms coming and he saw it, smart kid.

That he is. I'm surprised no one else noticed. He's observant, I give him that.

So what brings you here, Cerridwen?

Oh nothing, just watching as love blooms for both you and Sasuke.

W-what?!!! We're not in love! What made you think of that, you crazy old woman?!!

First of all, I'm not crazy or old. Say something like that again, and I'll leave you a very distasteful present. Anyways I saw how you two bickered like a old married couple. I saw how you rushed to protect him. Also I watched how he calmed you down from beating that kid endlessly.

W-Wha- that meant nothing. I um I. Shut up!!!

Hahahaha, you don't even realize that you like him. This is gold. Hahaha.

I said, shut up!!

I discontinue my chat with Cerridwen and I'm left all flustered in embarrassment that she thinks I like my Uchiha teammate. No, that's crazy, he doesn't like me, he likes no one. And if I do like him I'll get beaten up by every fangirl in Konoha. Also he's leaving with Pedo-maru soon and I'm going with the Akatsuki how will that work? Also if Sakura finds out, she'll hate me even more than she already does.

I decided to leave this situation unanswered and push it back to the very back of my mind with all the other unanswered questions. I look ahead and find all my teammates running in front of me, which leaves me at the back of the group. I focus on the race and keep running forward, ignoring the closing of my chest as I run. Even though I'm a ninja it doesn't mean I like to run. I inhale and exhale every five seconds trying to calm down my breathing. It doesn't take long to relax and keep up with teammates.

I wonder if the others figured out his motives yet. Its not that hard to figure out, he's just running towards someplace where he had alternate plans and then continue the race, right? Well that's my assumption, he could still be running off to not participate at all.

I look to my left and see Sakura running with confusion written on her face. What's up with her?

"Sakura, what are you thinking?" I ask her as I try to figure her out.

"Nothing. Well actually, all I'm thinking is that, where is he going? I mean the boats were that way and he came running towards this path" she says asking questions.

"Well, he could have a plan, but I'm not sure" I inform my twin.

"Yeah, that's what I've been thinking, that he's goi-"

"Sakura?" I say with concern that she stopped in mid sentence.

"It's a Genjutsu. Were stuck in a Genjutsu"

"What? What do-"

"We've been going in circles" she says explaining it to me.

Well, I've always sucked at Genjutsu.

"Release" Sakura, Sasuke and I all shout at the same time as we disperse the Genjutsu.

"Hey stop!!!" Sakura yells as Naruto flies over the edge with Idate.

But she was too late, they both fell.

"Damn, do we have any rope or something to pull them up" I say as I check my pouches, looking for anything that could help.

"Here"

I look up to see Sasuke holding out rope to me. I take it and give him a nod in appreciation. Taking the rope, I tie it around me and throw the rest to the two idiots below us.

"Take the rope!" I shout at Naruto and Idate.

Feeling a tug at the other end, I add chakra to my feet so I don't go falling over the cliff. Having a sturdy stand on the ground below me, I start to pull both boys up.

"Hurry up Tsuki, we don't have time to waste" Sakura holders.

"Well, sorry. If you can't see I'm pulling two boys who weigh a lot more than me, so it's going to take a while, princess" I sneer at her.

"Just hurry up"

"Argh!!! Will you shut up!!!" I shout as I yank the boys with all my power, making them fly up towards us.

They come crashing down, leaving a trail of dirt behind them as they skid to a stop. I listen to them groaning at the harsh impact I gave them. Then I turn to my sister who's left gaping at the sight.

"Have I done well, my lady" I say bowing with mockery.

"I'm not a princess!!!" she yells.

"Well stop acting like one and I'll stop mocking you. Because all do is stand around and watch us do the work" I say to her as she gets a furious look on her face.

I turn ignoring her and I find a smirking Sasuke watching us.

"What are you smirking at, Uchiha" I say to him.

"Hn. Nothing" he says before walking off to Naruto.

That stupid boy making me all confused. Argh!!! Stupid feelings of being a teenage girl, why can't I be some emotionless freak. I turn away from the brooding boy and untie the rope that's around my waist. Gathering the rope around me and rolling it back to a circle, I walk towards the boys and the lone fangirl.

"Ready" I say to everyone as I give Sasuke his rope back.

They all nod in reply.

After Idate explained his plan, we reached the beach where the old man lived at. We came across a old looking shack, it was average in size, but a person could still live in there. The whole thing is made out of wood, there's several missing planks of wood missing, and it looks like it's about to fall over. But that's how it looks on the outside, I mean it could look all nice and be sturdy from the inside.

Idate knocks on the shack's door and a few moments later a rugged old man opens the door, only to smile brightly at Idate. I'm guessing that they know each other.

"You came. I was beginning to worry that you wouldn't show up" the man says.

"Of course I came, if I didn't then who would win the race" Idate says confidently.

"Alright, that there is the best running boat I have. Now get going, you can't waste time" he says as he turns to a boat that's tied to the port.

"Thank you" Idate says as he bows.

We leave the man at the shack and run towards the boat. As we all got on, Idate took the task to steer the boat.

The ride was silent, all until sakura starting to ask questions. Seriously that girl can't be quiet. Always curious and snooping into people's lives.

"So Idate what village did you come from" she says to the boy.

"Why do you care, I stopped living there ever since I took the chunin exams" he says nonchalantly.

"Aha! So you are a ninja" Sakura says as she points a finger.

"Fine! You got me! I was a ninja, but that ended" he says spilling his information.

"What do you mean that ended? What happened?" Sakura asks again.

"The chunin exams happened. It was going well until that last question where they tricked us" Idate says reminiscing.

"Oh yeah!! I remember, the proctor was mean" Sakura says as a light bulb went off in her head.

"What was his name again" she asks no one in particular.

"Pfft, and I thought you remembered everything. His name was Ibiki Morino" I say as I insult my sister.

"What did you say? You mean he's alive?!" Idate shouts, losing his cool.

I look at him confused. Alive? It looks like I'm not the only one with the confused face, seeing my teammates with a look with pure confusion.

"What's wrong with you, dattebayo" Naruto says as he looks at Idate.

"My brother. He's alive? I thought...I thought he died" Idate says seeming like he's looking back at a memory.

"Of course he's alive, he was the one who confused us, asking us a weird question at the end of the exam" Sakura says.

"What do you mean he died?!" Naruto shouts.

A look of realization crosses his face and then it goes back to his stoic self.

"Nothing, just ignore what I said" Idate says as he steps back.

"Let us help you, you-" Sakura gets cut off by a drop of rain.

Rain?

The clouds haven't reached us yet.

What's going on?

More drops of rain fall, only to realize that there's another boat across from us. Four grappling hooks shoot and stick themselves to the edge of our boat. Sasuke and Naruto go tend to the ropes, while I take out a kunai and step in front of Idate, Sakura doing the same as me.

"Hey, it looks like we got lucky" a ninja with a rain village headband says.

"Yeah, I can finally get revenge from what they did in the forest" the other one says.

The forest?

"Yeah, weren't they ones that stabbed you? And look there's the girl who took the exams alone" the third ninja says.

The exam?

They're the one's from the chunin exams. I didn't face them, but it seems like my team did. So they're getting revenge for whatever my teammates did. They can't possibly hold a grudge that long, can they?

"Naruto behind you!!" Sakura shouts.

I turn to find a water clone behind Naruto. So that's what they're doing. I take a defensive stance in front of Idate and protect him. We may not get along, but this is my mission, I'll protect him for now.

One appears in front of me and Sakura let's out a shrill scream like always. Seriously she's like a banshee. I act fast and thrust my hand forward to attack with my kunai. Unfortunately, he's fast and dodges the attack. I raise my foot and kick him. Which he dodges again. This time he punches me, which obviously hits since he's faster than me. I stumble, but I don't fall. Getting annoyed I throw my kunai, only to take out another one. The first kunai flies by his head, distracting him. In that moment I move fast and attack. When he doesn't notice, I stick the kunai in his water body, making him turn to a puddle.

"Enough, Fire Style: Fire Ba-" Sasuke says only to get cut off.

"Sasuke don't! There's oil covering the boat" Sakura shouts.

Oil?

The rain.

That was the oil. So they were thinking ahead. They knew Sasuke was a fire user.

But Sakura gets cut off herself as an fire covered arrow hits the floor of our boat. Damn. Not a second later the boat lights up in flames. I turn around barely in time to block a punch to the face. Stupid water clones, popping out of no where. I thrust my kunai in it's body only to make it explode oil.

Fucking shit.

My body wet with oil and a boat in flames, does not mix. I'm going to burn alive if I don't do something fast. I take out a rag from my medical kit which is usually used to clean people's wounds, but this time I'll use it to clean myself from oil. Taking out the cloth, I kneel and wipe the sticky substance of oil off my skin.

"Argh!!! Take this!" I turn and watch my sister rip the post off the boat and swing it around to destroy all the water clones.

That. Was. Bad ass. I guess she's No longer a princess.

Feeling a burning lick on my leg I curse, "fuck!!!"

Ignoring the chick flick moment that Sakura and Idate are having, I jump into the water, before I roast like a marshmallow.

Not a second later a hear a splash besides me, along with another three. I turn to the boat behind me and watch it burn, surrounding the air with smoke.

I follow my team in front of me and swim, only with one thought in my head.

We need to find Idate, and fast.

We were swimming in the ocean, without conflict, until Naruto disappears into the water.

"Naruto stop playing around" my sister scolds.

"I don't think he's playing" Sasuke admits.

"Lets go then" I say before breathing in air and diving underwater.

I instantly spot Naruto who's being dragged down to the ocean floor by a rain ninja. I swim towards him only to be stopped a rain ninja. He grips my wound only to make me scream in pain, which is bad because when I screamed I let out all my oxygen and met water. I quickly shut my mouth and save the little amount of life's air to keep me alive from drowning.

I try to escape the man's clutches, but he has deadly grip on my ankle. As he holds my ankle, he pulls me down to the ocean floor. Going deeper and deeper into the water the pressure rises, making it even harder for me to hold my breath. As I get farther from the surface I find an illuminating light shine in the dark depths. I turn in the direction of the light only to find a bunch of Naruto standing in a circle making multiple Rasengans.

The man let's me go as the Rasengans make a whirlpool, not wasting an opportunity, I swim as fast as I could to the surface. I pass my unconscious sister on the way towards the surface, I debate over living or saving my sister's life. I go for the obvious one.

I swim down and grab my sister from the waist and swim with one hand. The weight of having Sakura and swimming with one hand makes my vision turn bleary. I could feel my lungs burn as they cry for fresh air. My chest tightens as I'm lacking the need of oxygen. My ears begin to ring as I get closer to the surface.

I breach the layer of water and come with the impact of air hitting my face. I gasp, swallowing loads of air, trying to soothe my throbbing lungs. My heart beats fast as it came to close contact of stopping. I apply chakra to my feet and run towards the shore, wanting to help my unconscious sister and revive her back. I run on the water passing my other teammates as they're swimming towards the land. I run, ignoring the throbbing pain of my burn wound. I trip on the sand and come crashing down face first as Sakura flies ahead of me.

I ignore the moment of pain and rush towards her side. I force chakra toward my hands even though I barely have any and hover them over her chest. Not finding any wounds, I start the CPR procedures. Thrusting my hands on her ten times, this is awkward, but I have to do it, I level her head and pinch her nose, here goes nothing, and press my lips on hers. Breathing air into her lungs at least three times, I move back to thrusting her chest. On my fourth thrust she spits out water, quickly moving her to her side, I let her spit all the water out to the sand. I sit back and let out a breath of relief, knowing that she'll be okay.

A few minutes pass and she fully wakes up from her half state. Getting up along with the rest of the team and head out to find Idate.

After searching for several minutes, we finally found Idate laying on rock with a green haired man standing over him. The man raises his umbrella and let's a shower of needles hit Idate. Before any of the sharp thin like weapons hit the boy, I attack as Sakura goes tend to his wounds.

"Wind Style: Wind Blade Jutsu" I say as I push my giant fan forward.

The burst of wind changes the direction of the needles and let them hit the ground. He turns to us in surprise. But that look soon changes to a look of distaste.

"Hmm Leaf ninja? Are they the one's who're protecting your worthless life" this guy says, "pathetic" he finishes.

"Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu" I yell as I raise and thrust my large fan.

The gust of wind takes it's usually form and makes multiple blades of wind. They all fly towards the man who wears a purple spandex suit. I got to admit he is good looking, but we're enemies and he's so much older.

"Tsuki!!!" Sakura randomly shouts.

"What?"

"Don't say that" she accuses.

Say wha-

Oh?

"Thanks for the compliment, but you're not my type" the man says.

I flustered in embarrassment, only to realize that I said all those things about him out loud. Stupid. This is why nobody likes you. I scold myself mentally. Forgetting my moment of embarrassment, I join both Sasuke and Naruto as they attack that good looking man.

I sneak up behind him as he's dodging a kick from Sasuke, I quickly close my fan and hit the spandex wearing man with my closed fan. As the large weapon hits his back, he stumbles forward only to receive a punch in he face by Naruto and a kick in the stomach by Sasuke.

I jump back before he has a chance to attack me, I run to the other side to join my teammates as they stand in front of the enemy.

"Play times over. Now let's how you survive this" he says before making hand signs and throwing his umbrella up in the air.

"Senbon Shower" he yells only to make several needles fly down at us.

The senbons move at light speed, they instantly pierce my body making me grit my teeth in pain. I hear two groans and a girly yelp, I'm guessing my team is in the same position as I am. I go forward to attack him, but my body's numb, I can't move. They're poisoned. As the poison runs through the system, my body falls flat to the sand.

I officially hate this mission. We're not even close to finishing it and I'm already hurt. First my leg got burnt, then I can't even move because of this stupid poison.

"Not so tough, are you Leaf ninja" he says laughing before he disappears in thin air.

I crawl through the sand like a earth worm, trying to get to my teammates. As I'm crawling Sakura calls out to us.

"Guys come here and take this. It's a pill that will cancel out the poison in your body" she says informing us of the pills.

"When did you those, Sakura-chan" Naruto asks curiously.

"Lady Tsunade gave them to me before we left. She said that they'll come in handy, I'm guessing she knew that this would've happened" she says as she gives us the pill.

Well more like shoving the pill in my mouth, since I can't move. The pill's healing effects instantly remove the numbness to my body. Happy to be moving around, I go and it by Naruto.

"So what do we do now? I mean Idates unconscious, and we don't know when he'll wake up" I say to the other genins besides me.

"Well, we need to take him somewhere warm or else he'll get sick from all the cold weather" Sakura suggests.

(A/N: I'm going to skip the whole cave moment, so yeah. Don't blame me, blame the sickness called laziness )

After Naruto went running off with Idate on his back, the rest with Sakura, Sasuke, and I were left to run after him. We were running for a few minutes before we came across a long descent of towering stairs. I gape at the sight before me, I officially hate this mission.

"You've got to be kidding me. How does he do it?" Sakura says out of breath.

I don't blame her, I mean she's a ninja, but she's the least fit in our team. She barely has any muscle, no stamina what's so ever, no strength, but she has intelligence on her side, also she's our 'medical ninja' so most of the time we're protecting her.

"Let's go, there's no time to waste" Sasuke says.

I gape even more, did he just say a full sentence. I follow his order not wanting to get him mad and run up the cause of my death. The stairs are never ending, you think you get closer to the end, but more steps appear out of no where, making them never ending.

Half way up we hear the cheering of the crowd, so I'm guessing Idate made his appearance and continued the race. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to reach the top, only to find it empty.

Where they all go?

Leaving that question unanswered, I continue following Sasuke and ignore it. Up ahead I could feel a strong chakra source, I'm not a sensor, but you feel the atmosphere drown you with chakra. As we got closer I could see Naruto fighting with that guy from earlier. But this time he's not holding an umbrella, he's holding the Second Hokage's sword. I only know this from studying Konoha's history. The blade itself is covered with a layer of thunder. It's rumored that nothing can break the sword, but those are only rumors.

Sasuke POV
I came to a stop along with the Haruno twins. I watched as Tsuki opened the large fan that was strapped to her back. I watch as the fan opens to reveal a Waning, Waxing and a Full moon. I took a kunai out and faced this Aoi guy. I ran towards the guy and attacked him with Naruto. That dobe seems to be running low on chakra.

"So it seems that the rest of your pathetic escorts arrived" Aoi says to Idate.

Pathetic? I'm not pathetic or weak.

I run up to him and attack him, only to be blocked by a sword. Our weapons clash against each other as I glare at the man in front of me.

"So the rumors are true, there is another Uchiha. I just thought he'd be more of a challenge" Aoi says as he taunts me.

This only causes me to deepen my glare and add more force to the kunai.

"I'm not weak" I snarl at him.

He doesn't know me. I've trained my whole life after that day. I've trained everyday so one day I could defeat him.

"Really now? Because right now I'm facing him and you know what? The survivor of the Konoha's famous Uchiha clan is the worst of them!!!" he yells laughing at me.

A pang in my chest tightens. He's right, I couldn't protect my clan, I couldn't defeat Lee, I couldn't defeat Gaara and I can't defeat him. I'm not strong enough yet.

I jump back and do the hand signs that Kakashi showed me and perform the jutsu. After I'm done with the signs I lower my right arm as I pour all my chakra into it. My chakra builds up and it takes the form of lightning. The sounds of birds surrounds the air around me as I look up to meet Aoi's eyes and smirk.

"Let's see which is stronger, thunder or lightning" I say.

I run towards him with a Chidori pulsating on my right hand. I raise my right arm and push it forward to hit Aoi, but he blocked me with his sword. The jutsu and the sword met, only to make my jutsu disintegrate in a matter of seconds. As I'm left without defense I get electrocuted with the sword. He raises me up to the air as he adds power to the sword of thunder, which only electrocutes me. I grit my teeth in pain as the shocks dance all over my body. The next second I fall to the ground with several burn marks on my pale skin.

"Pathetic. You call yourself an Uchiha. Uchiha's are supposed to be the elite ninjas, while you're a weak little kid with no talent" he says as he makes me mad.

I'm not mad at him, I'm mad with myself. I wasted so much time training, only to lose every time I face someone who's an enemy.

"No wonder he killed the clan, they were filled with weaklings like you. You're a disgrace to the clan, a clan that was the strongest, destroyed in a night" Aoi says as he insults me and my clan.

"Shut up! You don't know anything" I shout angry that what he's saying is true.

I conjure up my chakra and force it to the direction of my right hand. The chakra builds up and forms the Chidori as it cries with several chirps, illuminating a blue light around me. Running towards the smirking man, I raise the Chidori so I can make a hit.

My jutsu and his sword meet once again, but I add more chakra so it won't disappear as early like the last time. I glare into Aoi's purple eyes, as I back his sword with my strength. I glare at him only to receive a smirk from him. What? Why is he smirking?

I get my answer, when I get pushed back with electricity. The Chidori disappears once again, leaving me open to any attacks. The cycle repeats as I get electrocuted by the thunder sword again. But this time, it's more powerful seeing that I could feel the burns from inside my body. I scream in pain as the volts dance on my body leaving urn marks scattered across my skin.

"You're pathetic, nothing but a weakling who thinks he's strong" Aoi says as he puts more chakra into the sword.

A scream of pain leaves my lips as the electricity sends pin like jolts in my body. The world around me seems to blur as black lots dance in my vision.

"Sasuke!!!" I hear before I go unconscious.

Tsunade's POV
The jounin, chunin, and even the genin are the room standing n front of me. A meeting was called by the elders, so I have no idea what's going on. The room is filled with complete silence as we anticipate for them to speak. Anxiously waiting, I bite my red polished nail, nothing good would come out of this meeting. Everyone's present, all except the four genin from Kakashi's team. And knowing them as they chose this time to speak it has something to do with one of Kakashi's students.

I don't trust the elders, they keep too many secrets, especially Danzo. That man always wanted to become Hokage, but since he didn't he held a grudge against my sensei, Lord Third.

"Now, we called everyone here to discuss an important topic. Also to inform you of the threat that resides inside these walls" Homura says.

A threat?

Is it Naruto?

The crowd goes wild as they murmur the possibilities of threats that live in Konoha. The genin panic seeing as they don't know about any threats.

"Quiet down!" Danzo yells as he hits his cane on the wooden floor.

The room silences itself once again.

"Who is it" one of the jounin says.

"It's the girl named Haruno Tsuki" Homura says informing everyone.

"What?! She's just a child she can't be that dangerous" I yell at them.

"Your elders, she's my student, so i'd know if she was a threat to the village. She's just a kid who uses medical Ninjutsu and Wind style chakra" Kakashi says defending his student.

"Yeah, she's just a girl who reads and talks to no one. She's just a loner who likes to help" Ino says.

"She's just a kid? She has the Goddess, Cerridwen sealed inside her. Cerridwen is the Goddess of the moon, dark prophecy, and the underworld. She'll manipulate the girl and turn her against us. The girl is a threat she'll kill us all when we don't expect it. Cerridwen was the Goddess who brought all evil to the heavens, she could bring hell to the surface and all it takes for her to do this is to brainwash her host" Danzo says to everyone.

He's right. We don't know anything about the girl herself. Not her likes, interests, her hates, or what she wants to do. And Why does he spend so much time alone.

Did it already start?

Is she getting manipulated this instant?

Is she already planning our deaths?

We can't have her here.

I look up to find fear written across every person on the room.
"What do we do" I ask.

I watch as Danzo smirks at my question.

"Let us take care of it" he says.

Well that was Chapter 17. Longest chapter ever, 5,873 words. So how did you like Cerridwen making fun of Tsuki? Or the CPR moment, that was awkward? Or Sasuke's insecurities of being called weak?
