She is a women,
Behind the thin translucent viel,
Beside the fear and menace, lies her face dreadful and pale.
Its always her who is expected to peddle with everything that happens.
Sometimes she is told, its her femininity that she has to acknowledge.
She is the pride of the house, its a burden she lives with.
If she is seen with a boy, its her character that is pointed.

She is a women,
She cannot come back home at night,
If she is past her curfew, definitely a bitch, a parasite.
She was a doctor, indistinct from the barbs of society,
Tell me weather you have the courage to save a life?

She is a girl,
Innocent and pure.
While you pray to Goddess and divinities,
She is stripped in a temple, without a thought.
Her dreams of flight and experience are now siezed by a pair of festoon.

She is a women,
Too emotional and fragile.
Little did they know, she was inside giving birth to a life.
The pain that felt eternal, she fought against that,
The slightest pinch of pain for which you automatically drain.

She is a women,
Again irritated and enraged.
Must be on her periods, such an overreact.
While you just witness half a story,
She lies confined with the stabbing pain.
Such vicious that it continues to stab each of her vein.
So quick to judge, no empathy to delienate,
Lets see if you can deal with it continuously for days.

She is a women.
She is supposed to wear a dress covering her body,
While even the slightest skin that is revealed, they tag her toxic.
She fights for her existence every step of her life,
Lets see your courageous enough to lead such a life.
At night she trembles the fearful demons, aiming for her flesh, her womanhood.
She lost the fear of ghosts way before, for the real ones she deciphered were more visious, more sore.
The pain that she lives with and continues to be a women,
Its for her or your civilisation would have vanished ago ages.
She is a women, worthy of respect.
And not a piece of doll, whose life you bluntly dictate.

She is a women.
