The next day, at Twilight's house, Twilight was at her bedroom, looking over her closet and then she found a box and took it out. When she open the box, she took out a old white strapless dress and angel wings. The dress was Twilight's mother old costume for when she was Twilight's age.

"I miss you so much mom, I really wish you are here to help me." Said Twilight as a single tear came out of her eye.

Then all of a sudden, a dog came out under Twilight's bed and that dog is none other than Spike, Twilights pet dog. He saw how sad his owner is, so he started to go to Twilight and rub his head at her legs. Then Twilight look down and smile.

"Oh Spike, you always know how to calm me down." Said Twilight as she pets him.

Then she puts away her mothers costume, puts the box in her closet, then she goes downstairs with Spike to the living room, and she saw a boy and a girl sitting at the couch.

The boy has moderate sapphire blue hair with moderate cerulean and dark phthalo blue streaks, has moderate cerulean eyes, her wears a white button up shirt with a blue shield that has a pink star in the middle, has blue pants on, and had blue shoes on. His name is Shining Armor and he is Twilights big brother.

The girl next to him has moderate violet hair with moderate rise and pale gold streaks, has light purple eyes, wears a light blue shirt, blue jacket, bluish green skirt, and yellow heels. Her name is Cadence and she is Shining Armor's fiancé and Twilight babysitter.

"Hi Shining Armor, hi Cadence." Said Twilight as she smiles.

"Hi Twilight." Said Shining Armor as he and Cadence look at Twilight.

"How is your eye doing sweetie?" Asked Cadence as she looks at Twilight.

"It's getting a little better, but it's still bruised." Said Twilight.

"I give those Shadowbolts and Flash Sentry 6 weeks of detention for what they did to you." Said Cadence.

"I don't understand why will they bully me so much and why would Flash Sentry humiliate me." Said Twilight as she felt sad." I mean, what have I ever do to them?"

Then Cadence and Shining Armor have both saw how sad Twilight feels so they got up and starts to go to her.

"Oh Twilight, you didn't do anything wrong, sometimes people bully other people so they could be more better than them." Said Cadence as she puts her hands on Twilight's shoulders." Sometimes people who bullied other people have to get punished."

"You did nothing wrong Twilight, it's just that you are a very special girl and you have something special inside of you." Said Shining Armor as he smiles.

"Thanks guys, that really makes me feel better." Said Twilight as she smiles." I'm going to take Spike outside for a walk to get some fresh air."

"Okay Twilight, one more thing, about the audition "A Midsummer Night's Dream", are you thinking that you might want to audition?" Asked Shining Armor.

"Well, I was practicing some lines, and maybe I was thinking that I should." Said Twilight as she smiles.

"That's great Twilight, because as you know, mom use to do that play too when she was around your age." Said Shining Armor as he smiles." And that's how she met dad, he fell in love with her when she play the role "Puck" the mischievous fairy from the play."

"I know, mom told me that before she died." Said Twilight as she smiles at her brother.

Then Twilight have started to leave the house with her dog Spike by her side and she started to go for a walk. As she kept on walking, she was far from the city and went to a beautiful field that has beautiful flowers and a blue stream.

"I really love this place, I have so many good memories with my mother here." Said Twilight as she smiles.

When Twilight was just a kid, her mother will always bring her to the field to sing for her, look at the clouds, and she will rehearse for one of her plays for Twilight and will always try to cheer Twilight up.

"I really miss my mom, but I remember the day when she first told me about her first play." Said Twilight as she smiles.

Then Twilight have started to remember about the day when her mother told her about how she was the main character in her play.

Flashback

Seven year old Twilight was wearing purple long sleeve shirt, dark purple colored dress with a pink star brooch in the middle of the collar, and pink flats on. She was sitting down next to a women.

The women has moderate purple with light gray highlights, has light arctic blue eyes, she has a dark star necklace around her neck with a purple gem on it, she wears a light purple shirt with three purple stars on it, magenta skirt on, and has a pair of reddish-violet heels on. Her name Twilight Velvet.

"The sky is really beautiful mommy, I like to see the clouds." Said Twilight as she smiles.

Then Twilight Velvet looks at her daughter and she saw that she is reading one of William Shakespeare's books which is "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and then she started to smile at Twilight.

"I see you like that book Twilight." Said Velvet as she smiles.

"I really do mommy, it's one of my favorite stories that is written by William Shakespeare's." Said Twilight as she smiles.

"You know my daughter, when I was about sixteen years, I use to have the lead character of that play." Said Velvet as she smiles.

"Wow, really mom?"" Asked Twilight in surprise.

"Why yes my dear, in fact I play the mischievous fairy, "Pluck" because I sing in one of the most beautiful melody voice." Said Velvet as she smiles." And your play one of the lovers and let's just say that I may have made him fall for me and I love him too."

"Wow, so you and daddy got together because of singing?" Asked Twilight.

"Of course my daughter, you see, singing is like magic, when you sing, it can bring many people in joy as they can feel it in their hearts." Said Velvet as she smiles." That's when I knew about true love."

"You know that you and daddy are meant for each other just by singing?" Asked Twilight as she smiles.

"Of course my dear." Said Velvet as she smiles.

"Do you think that I will find my special somebody someday mom?" Asked Twilight as she smiles.

"Of course my daughter, if you follow your heart, you will." Said Velvet as she smiles.

"And do you think that maybe I can be in the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" like you one day?" Asked Twilight as she smiles.

"Of course Twilight, I know that you have a angelic singing voice and I know that one day you will have the main character "Puck" like me." Said Velvet as she smiles.

Then Twilight have hugged her mom and her mother have hugged Twilight back and then they both continue to look at the skies and look at the clouds.

End of Flashback

"Oh Spike, those days when I was with my mom at the field, it made me feel really happy back then." Said Twilight as she smiles and pets her dog.

Spike started to smile at his owner and nuzzle at her. Then Twilight smile and she looks at her necklace.

"Oh I remember the time when my mom gave me this necklace." Said Twilight as she starts to remember when her mother gave her the necklace.

Flashback

When Twilight is ten years old, Twilight Velvet have become very ill due to illness she have for the last few months. Then one night Twilight was in her mother's bedroom looking really sad.

"Please get well mom." Said Twilight sadly.

"Listen to me Twilight, before you were born, when I was sixteen years old, I made a wish that I have the most beautiful daughter that have the most angelic voice ever." Said Velvet as she smiles at Twilight." When you were born, I saw that in your future you will be the fairest in the world."

That got Twilight to get really shock that her mother made a wish that she will have the most angelic voice she ever had. Then as Twilight Velvet smile at her daughter, she started to put her hand at Twilight's hand.

"Twilight, I know that your voice will bring many happiness to people once you start singing like I did when I was a teenager." Said Velvet as she smiles." Please promise me that you will also be very caring, kind, and always be happy to other people."

"But mommy, I really don't want you to leave me, I'll miss you so much mother." Said Twilight as tears come out of her eyes.

"And I will never leave you Twilight, you see Twilight, when you love someone so much, they will stay in your heart forever." Said Twilight Velvet as she smiles at her daughter." I promise you Twilight that I will always be with you when I'm in your heart."

Then as Twilight Velvet smile at Twilight, she started to take off her necklace and started to hand it to Twilight.

"Whenever you wear my necklace, I will always be there for you even thought I'm not really here." Said Velvet as she smiles." But please promise me to be caring and kind to everyone."

"Okay mom, I promise." Said Twilight as smiles at her mom.

Then Twilight have started to put on the jewel necklace and then she started to hug her mother. Then next day, Twilight Velvet have passed away and Twilight, her father, and her big brother have all went to her funeral along with everyone in the town. Shining Armor have big Twilight and Twilight hug back.

"Oh Spike, sometimes I ever wonder what will happen if I ever got a part in the play, if Leo and I ever could be a couple, and how will I know if I could be happy." Said Twilight as she sights a bit." And you know something else Spike, sometimes I ever wonder how far I'll go with my magic."

Then as soon as Twilight have said that, all of a sudden, music have started to play and then Twilight started to sing as she have started to get up.

Then all of a sudden, as she kept on singing, the magical aura have started to appear and then magical pinkish-purple stars started to go around her as she kept singing and then the magical aura have started to get flower petals to go around Twilight as well.

Then after Twilight have finished singing her song, the magical aura have started to disappear, then the flowers petals have started to fall all around her, then she have smile as she saw the flower petals, and then Spike started to nuzzle her leg.

"Oh Spike, you know something, I think maybe I should audition for the play." Said Twilight as she hugs her dog." My mother was in the play and if I got the part, it will make me feel that she is still with me."

Then as Twilight grab her dog, she started to go back home to get some rest for the audition. But what she didn't know is that someone has been watching her and that person is none other than Discord.

"My, Twilight is a lot like her mother in so many ways." Said Discord as he smiles." Something tells me that she is the next person that might bring a little of magic."

And then Discord have started to leave. And little did Twilight know is that Discord might have plans for her to help her and Leo be together with a flower.
