You weren't like the rest of them, you weren't a shifter, you didn't have a ridiculously high body temperature, you couldn't run for miles without getting tired.

You were different, and despite your boyfriend constantly telling you that it was a good thing, it was just a weird experience. After all, you only knew them because of Seth and you only knew Seth because of Jacob, without either of those guys you would've never been introduced to the pack.

It wasn't like you felt uncomfortable around them all, they had all tried their best to make you feel welcome but you just didn't know them all that well.

Seth had taken you to the beach with him; Jacob, Paul, Quil and Embry were there, but Emily was staying home with Sam and Rachel had gone back to university to finish her last year.

You knew the girls better than you did the guys, it was easier to talk to them than it was to the pack.

Leah, however, she was a different story as she was still a little apprehensive about you being with her little brother, despite you being his imprint – she was getting used to it though, she didn't mind when you stayed over anymore and the two of you would have coffee together in the mornings.

You reached for Seth's hand, and he instinctively intertwined your fingers together "You okay Baby?" Seth asked, whispering in your ear.

You moved closer to him, and nuzzled your head into his neck "Can we go for a walk?" you asked, your voice coming out muffled due to your position.

Seth chuckled and stood up from the sand, brushing the sand off of his clothes. He then offered you his hand, and you took it which allowed for him to pull you up also.

Seth placed his arm around your shoulder, and yours automatically went around his waist "We'll be back in a few guys" Seth announced, and the rest of the guys nodded in acknowledgement before returning to their conversation. As the two of you started to walk along the beach, Seth spoke up, "So why did you want to go for a walk?" he asked, looking down at you slightly.

"I just didn't want to sit there anymore" you admitted softly, you heard Seth sigh but you didn't look over at him.

You knew how badly he wanted you to get along with the pack, and it wasn't even that you didn't get along with them, it was just that you didn't know what to say or when to say it.

"I didn't know how to add into the conversation Seth, and being the only girl there makes it even more awkward. I get along with Rachel, I know Rachel, and I know Emily but the guys," you paused when Seth stopped walking, he reached for your chin and made you look up at him "The guys I don't know. I know their names, sure, but do I know anything even remotely personal about them? Of course I don't" you finished your little rant.

Seth sighed again, but without answered he pressed his lips to yours. When Seth pulled away, he just smiled at you "You don't need to worry about the guys Baby, they all love you" he reassured you as he nuzzled his face in your neck, pressing light kisses every now and then "But not as much as I do of course" he clarified which caused you to giggle.

After spending a little bit more time alone, you and Seth decided to go back to the pack. Seth sat down first, and pulled you down onto his lap.

The four boys turned to the two of you, "Where did you two go?" Paul asked with a smirk on his face.

"We went for a walk. I told you before we left" Seth spoke in a bored tone. The both of you knew Paul was getting at something, so it was best to agree with him up until he revealed his large announcement.

Paul scoffed and leant back on his hands "Oh please, the hickey on Y/N's neck says otherwise" he stated, still with the smirk on his face, and the rest of the guys nodded in agreement with him.

Your hand flew up to your neck, but Seth moved your hands away. He didn't like it when you covered the hickeys, apart from when you were at school sometimes as the teachers would make comments about them.

"Says you Lahote," Seth started his counter argument. Paul's face paled slightly because you knew what Seth was about to say – it wasn't new news to anyone, apart from Jacob, "I caught you and Rach in bed together the week before she left for Uni" Seth told Paul, and the look Jacob gave Paul was not one you would have wished upon anyone.

Paul sighed as he stood up "You win Clearwater" Paul said and he then legged it down the beach, clearly wanting to escape Jacob from flipping shit

Jacob had obviously come to terms with his older sister being Paul's imprint, but that didn't mean that he wanted to hear about the goings on behind closed doors.

Within minutes Jacob was up and running after Paul, yelling about how he was going to get interrogated like hell when they got back to Emily's place; Jacob wouldn't dare hurt Paul, knowing he would hurt Rachel in the process, but he could yell and wrestle him to the ground whilst yelling.

The group burst out laughing as they watched the two boys run as fast as they could "Nothing big will happen though" Embry said, voicing his thoughts aloud.

"Jacob will be over it within a few hours" Quil chimed in and the others laughed, "Well that is until Paul gets Rachel to call Jacob, so that Jacob will leave Paul alone" Quil continued.

You felt Seth trace shapes on the back of your hands as he talked with his two other pack members – you might not know them all that well yet, but you were going to be with Seth for a while so you had time.
