Sam Uley- Secret: Part 3 (h)

It was safe to say that in the short few weeks since you had come home from Hawaii and started back at high school, a lot had changed for you.

You came home to finding out that the legends you had known all your life were in fact the truth, that your brother and all of the boys you had grown up around were shifters and transformed into wolves, and the cherry on the top was that the alpha of the pack had imprinted on you.

It was strange knowing that the 'perfect' person your family had always said you'd find was actually true, and you had found him.

Sam had been nothing short of the perfect gentleman ever since the two of you had agreed to start slow – you alternated between spending time at his house, well your house too technically, and going out on dates to different places.

It had been somewhat entertaining to see Jacob adjusting to this whole thing, as everyone knew how rocky his friendship was with Sam and now Sam was with his little sister so needless to say it wasn't an easy adjustment.

Sam occasionally took the opportunity to tease Jacob about it all, by cuddling you or kissing your cheek whenever he was around but that quickly stopped when you had a go at him over it.

That evening you had agreed to go over to Sam's house and watch some films, but it was also going to be the first time that you were staying over.

Jacob had agreed to drop you off because you didn't want to ask Sam to come and get you even though he would.

"You have to promise me something," Jacob told you as he drove you to Sam's place.

You rolled your eyes. "What am I promising you this time brother?"

"Don't do anything with him, okay? Just because you're sleeping there doesn't mean you have to do the dirty."

"Oh, come on Jacob," you stated as you turned to look at him. "You really aren't being serious right? Not that I would, but he is my imprint, I'm allowed to do what I want with him."

"Then you shouldn't be sleeping there!"

"It's my house!"

"No," Jacob flatly said. "It is his house; you're just going over there."

You rolled your eyes for the second time that car journey. "Just stop it Jacob, I know you're still not used to the fact that Sam and I are together, but you can't control me like I'm five years old anymore."

He sighed as he pulled onto Sam's drive. "I'm sorry sis."

You smiled at him, kissing his cheek before you grabbed your things. "I know you are Jay; I'll see you tomorrow."

Climbing out of the truck, you waved goodbye to your brother as he honked the horn and reversed off the drive.

As you walked up to the porch you saw Sam already leaning against the doorframe of the front door.

"Hello there beautiful," he greeted you causing you to smile but also a faint blush to cross your cheeks.

He pulled you into a hug, kissing your cheek as he did so. "Hello to you too."

You both walked into the living room, that now had a fair bit more furniture scattered around as you and Sam had gone furniture shopping for the rest of the rooms in the house.

Whilst Sam said he'd get dinner ready; you took your things upstairs to yours and Sam's room.

A smile graced your face when you went into the room, he had a photo of the two of you from a bonfire in a frame on his bedside table.

Placing your bag down on the other side of the bed you walked around to his side, sitting down and holding the frame in your hand.

You didn't remember this photo being taken nor did you even know that Sam had it but the simple fact that he had it there meant a lot to you.

You must've been up there longer than you thought because a small knock on the doorframe roused you from your thoughts.

Turning to the doorway, you saw Sam looking at you with a fond smile on his face.

"I wondered what was keeping you up here," he stated as he walked over to where you were sat.

Smiling at him, you handed him the photo. "I didn't even know we had this photo."

He chuckled as he rubbed the frame with his thumb. "Seth actually took it a couple of weeks ago, he printed it out and brought it to me because he thought we'd want it."

"We don't look too bad together," you joked.

Sam pulled you into his side with an arm around your shoulder. "You are my better half, you know, that right?"

Nodding, you placed your hand on Sam's thigh and cuddled up to him. "And you're mine Sam, even if we are going slow."
