Paul Lahote- Legend: Part 2 (h)
Over the next couple of days, you had pretty much just stayed in the house and attempted to process all of the information that Sam had explained to you.
It was a shock to say the least, of course there was difficulty on wrapping your head around it all because it just all sounded so fictional.
Paul had tried multiple times to come and see you, and you felt bad about not leaving your room to talk to him but a part of you just didn't feel ready to somewhat admit the fact that you had been imprinted on.
A knock on your door caused you to snap out of your thoughts, and the door opened to reveal Emily with a smile on her face.
"The pack are going to do some cliff jumping down at La Push beach, do you want to come and watch?" she asked slightly hesitantly.
You nodded, grabbing your hoodie before leaving the house with Emily.
As you sat in the passenger seat of the truck, you turned to face your sister.
"How did you even process all of this Em? Like believe that it is all true?"
Emily sighed, shrugging at your words. "Sam is my imprint Y/N, I had to give in to the feelings that came from being so close to him and I couldn't ignore it anymore," she explained to you. "And I've seen him phase because that's how I got my scars but we're past that now."
"And Paul imprinted on me, right?"
Your sister nodded in confirmation. "That's what Sam believes, otherwise he would never have told you the truth about all of this."
The two of you soon arrived at the beach and saw a couple of people sat on the beach with a blanket underneath them.
You recognised one of them as Leah, your cousin, but Emily grimaced at the sight of Leah.
"Have you and Leah fallen out?" you asked Emily once she'd stopped walking.
Emily sighed. "Her and Sam were together for like three years, and he left her once he imprinted on me."
She turned back around and headed back to the truck causing your brows to furrow in confusion. "Where are you going?"
"Back to the house," she stated. "I can't deal with the awkwardness right now, but Sam or Paul will give you a ride back."
You sighed at the fact that Emily had just left but you made your way down to the beach anyway.
Leah turned around at the sound of footsteps and a smile appeared on her face when she saw you.
She got up from the blanket to pull you into a hug, with you laughing as she did so. "I didn't know you were here!"
"I came to visit Em after hearing about everything that happened," you explained to her.
Leah's expression changed as she sat down. "So, she told you?"
"That you were with Sam and he left you for her?" you quizzed slightly bluntly. "Yeah I was just informed of that."
You heard a shout from the cliffside, and you turned just in time to see Paul jumping down.
Unable to help the smile that crossed your face at the sight of him, you left Leah with her friend and made your way to the shoreline.
"Hey Y/N!" Paul called out with excitement as he emerged from the sea.
A smirk crossed his face when he realised your eyes were on his torso.
"What brings you out of your cave to our lovely beach?" he questioned in a joking tone.
You sighed. "I'm sorry Paul, I just needed time to process everything."
He nodded in understanding. "It's never an easy thing to get your head around," he sympathised with you. "I remember how I felt when I had no clue what was wrong with me."
Smiling at him, you took his hand when he offered it to you.
"How about we go for a coffee and I'll try and explain my side of things as best I can to you, yeah?"
