Jasper Hale- Stressing (h)
The majority of the time, you weren't too bad with getting yourself to do work but then it was a subject you didn't like – you couldn't care less.
High school wasn't for everyone and yet your boyfriend's family had done it over so many times.
They had an advantage knowing practically everything, and that's what sucked sometimes.
Jasper was smart, considering he'd had years of experience with the high school education, but half the time you never managed to measure up to him.
He always told you that you never needed to compare yourself with him. The two of you were very different people, and had different interests so it wasn't fair.
Not to mention the fact that he had been around several decades more than you.
You'd been ignoring Jasper's texts for the past couple of hours in the favour of attempting to study for your history exam.
It was in a matter of days and, like usual, you were stressing.
You would never understand how some people could do exams and not get stressed – how did that even work?
It was only natural to get stressed right?
As you were stressing, you hadn't realised your boyfriend appearing in your room.
When you looked up it made you jump.
"How did you get in here?" you quizzed, sounding surprised.
He chuckled, walking over to you and sitting on your bed. "You left your window open," he pressed a kiss to your cheek. "Again."
"It's warm!"
"You are warm because you are sat here in so many layers."
You rolled your eyes at him, pushing him off the bed so you could get back to studying.
"So, this is why you've been ignoring me?" he questioned once he was back next to you.
You sighed before you spoke. "I haven't been ignoring you."
"The amount of notifications on your phone says otherwise my dear."
"I'm stressed okay? I can't focus on you when I'm stressed."
He sighed, pulling you into his lap so he could cuddle you. "Fine. I'll help you," he spoke whilst pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "What exam is it?"
"History."
"What part of history my dear?"
You scrambled through a few sheets and produced the topic sheet for him.
"The Texan confederates of the 1800s?" he questioned with a laugh.
You shrugged "Yeah, what about them?"
"My dear, I was a major in the confederate army."
Shaking your head, you leant back into him. "No, you weren't."
"Yes, I was," he reminded you. "My dear, if you listen to me, you'll ace this test."
"But your voice makes me want to sleep."
"I'm boring then?"
You instantly turned to face him, quickly kissing him. "No, it's a comfort thing."
He smiled softly, placing his hand on your cheek. "You look like you need some rest, let's have a nap and I'll teach you after."
You giggled as he got the both of you to lie down. "One very irresistible teacher," you told him, your voice laced with sleep.
"Okay, one, thank you for the compliment and two, you need sleep."
"I'm being loving!"
