Everyone you knew was pretty aware of the fact that you were friends with the Cullen's, but they didn't know that you knew their secret.

The Cullen's had taken you in after the vampire coven that adopted you had to leave Forks however, they couldn't take you with them because of the Volturi.

Ever since then you had lived with the Cullen's, telling people that you were a family friend of Carlisle's and you were staying with them for the time being.

However, living with the Cullen's was made a tiny bit more difficult when you started dating Jacob Black.

You two had met because of Bella, and when Jacob imprinted on you it left him with no other option but to explain everything to you.

Needless to say, he was surprised when you told him that you already knew about his legends, but it was somewhat difficult to explain that you knew what the Cullen's actually were.

It took some getting used to, but your family and your boyfriend had come to some sort of understanding – they won't kill each other for your sake, and they will try to be civil.

Despite all of that, you knew that Jacob wasn't that happy with how close you were with Edward.

Edward had agreed to drop you off at Jacob's workshop, before he went to see Bella at her house.

When you pulled up at his house, Edward got out of the car to open your door for you, but you didn't see Jacob anywhere.

Edward pulled you into a hug, so you rested your head on his chest. "Are you staying over at Bella's tonight?"

"Are you staying here?"

You laughed, shaking your head but eventually pulling away from him. "Just make sure Charlie doesn't catch you, we all know how much he doesn't like you."

Edward rolled his eyes, shoving you lightly but then pressing a kiss to your cheek. "As long as my best friend still loves me then I can deal with Charlie."

Before you could give Edward another hug, Jacob's wolf barrelled out of the woods towards the two of you.

Even though Edward could defend himself you didn't want either of them getting hurt so you stood right in front of Jacob's wolf.

"Jay, what the hell are you doing?!" you ranted at him as the wolf seethed at Edward.

You waved your arms frantically in front of your wolf, so his head looked at you.

"You better change back right now Black! Before I do something, I will regret, you have no reason to storm out here on us like that!"

After a few more minutes of your ranting, Jacob phased back but he was naked and whilst you didn't mind that you passed him your jumper so he could at least preserve some dignity in front of Edward.

"What the hell?!"

Jacob sighed, still frustrated. "I was jealous okay?! I am always so damn jealous of that leech!"

Edward surged forward to Jacob but your palm on his chest stopped him.

"He is always around, acting so close with you when he's got Bella and there is no need for it!"

"She is my sister!"

Jacob growled. "Not by blood Cullen! Have you not seen your whole family? Two sets of your so-called siblings are together! Now tell me I don't need to worry when I have always seen you look at her in some creepy ass way that I do not appreciate."

You sighed, moving to pull Jacob into a hug which made him relax a little bit. "Jay, you need to calm down okay?" you whispered in his ear.

He nodded, pulling back from you but he kept an arm firmly around your waist.

You turned to Edward. "Thank you for dropping me off, but you get to Bella."

"You think I'm leaving you here after all of that?!"

Pinching the bridge of your nose, you could already feel a headache coming on. "Edward, please, we're fine."

"You are defending him?!"

"There is nothing to defend!" you yelled straight back at him. "This is a conversation Jacob and I need to have; you don't need to be involved in it so go to Bella. Now."

Still grumbling, Edward shot daggers at Jacob but eventually got in his car and drove away.

You whirled around on Jacob and glared straight at him. "You have some explaining to do mister."

He groaned but took your head and lead you to his workshop, where he had a bed set up for when he was being super lazy and didn't want to go to the house.

The both of you sat down but you sat further away from Jacob than you usually would because you wanted a point.

Jacob sighed when he realised you weren't going to say anything. "I'm sorry okay? I don't know what happened. I just got so sick of seeing him being so affectionate to you, it weirded me out. He acts like that with Bells and I already have to deal with that when I've known her since we were four."

You still didn't say anything, prompting him to continue.

"It just got to me Baby, I don't know why," he spoke with sincerity in his tone. "It's no secret that we don't like each other, and a part of me felt like he was doing it just to rub it in that he was close with you but then it got on my nerves more than I wanted it to."

You sighed, moving closer to Jacob and taking his hand. "Why didn't you just tell me? I never even realised Jay, if I had then we wouldn't be in this position."

"I didn't know how to Baby, I really didn't."

"Next time, please tell me before you go full wolf on me."

He chuckled, pulling you into his arms. "I'm sorry Baby."

"I know Jay, but you don't need to be jealous."

He sighed. "It's hard. You're just so beautiful and I don't know how I got you."

"I'm your imprint, you're it for me."

"Me too Baby, me too."
