Edward Cullen- Choices: Part 1 (h)
For the past two months you had been travelling to a place called Forks. It wasn't somewhere you had ever thought you'd go, considering you'd never even heard of it in all your years, but after hearing of another coven that shared your choices you thought it could be worth a trip.
You were yet to meet a coven that agreed with your lifestyle of choice – the majority often agreed in the more barbaric way of doing things.
Despite not having a lot to go off of when you'd set off to Forks, you'd eventually found what you assumed to be the house where they lived.
In actuality all you knew about them was that they were known as the Cullen's and they preferred to go down the vegetarian route when it came to feeding.
As you approached the house you felt somewhat off, you couldn't explain it to yourself, but something had changed.
Without even having to knock on the door a small girl with a friendly face and a black pixie cut was standing before you.
She didn't look surprised at your presence, in fact she looked as if she was expecting you.
"Hi! My name's Alice," she introduced herself and held her hand out to you.
You were confused but shook her hand, nevertheless. "I'm Y/N."
"Oh, I know!" she exclaimed as she essentially dragged you inside of the house.
When Alice stopped dragging you you were in what you assumed to be the living area of the house. And staring right at you were two older people, a woman with long blonde hair and a man with curly blonde hair that was staring at Alice very intently.
"So, you're Y/N?" the elder man in the room asked, and he shot you a smile when you nodded. "Alice told us that you were seeking us out but for what reason we don't know."
You nodded in response but then realised it would be difficult to address the people in front of you when you didn't know their names.
Once you had told them as such, they quicky introduced themselves and you felt better about explaining your reasons.
"I heard about your choice of feeding when I was at my last place of residence," you explained, and realisation flashed over their faces. "I was yet to find or hear of any others that respected my choice, let alone share such a choice."
Esme nodded and smiled gently at you. "So, you also believe in not feeding on humans?"
You felt eyes on you from behind, but you nodded. "I thought that even though I am destined to live a life such a this I should not spend it inflicting pain on those that do not deserve it."
They all seemed somewhat pleased with your answer, but you heard a gasp from behind you.
When you turned your eyes were immediately drawn to the brown-haired man that was standing in the entryway.
By the way that he was staring at you you assumed that it was the same for him.
However, the human girl beside him did not seem impressed in the slightest. "Edward?" the girl questioned, touching his arm.
She went to circle her hand around his bicep, but he pulled away from her, shaking his head, knowing it no longer felt right.
"Are you the one Alice told us about?" he questioned as he walked towards you.
You nodded, basically consumed by his eyes as you stared up at him.
A small smile came on his face due to him having heard your thoughts. "It is nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Edward Cullen."
He held his hand out to you but when you went to shake it, he took your hand in his and lifted it up to his lips to press a kiss to the back of it.
That action alone confirmed what you already thought, the man standing before you was your mate.
