You had never wanted to be someone that was thought of as rude or inconsiderate, but when you had happened to develop feelings for two different people it was likely that you wouldn't be seen as perfectly innocent.

When you had met Rosalie, you had found her interesting and wanted to get to know her more but then through Rosalie you met Alice.

Alice was completely different to her adopted sister – Alice was sweet and kind whilst Rosalie could be quite reserved.

You got on well with all of the Cullens, but you had managed to develop feelings for both Alice and Rosalie.

Of course, you didn't want to hurt either of them as that wasn't the kind of person you were however you also needed to decide as you didn't want to lead them both on.

You knew that Rosalie had feelings for Emmett still, and that Emmett would be better for Rosalie than you would be as they just suited each other – you never really knew why they broke up in the first place.

You'd been staying with the Cullens for the past week or so, whilst your parents were out of town, and when you came into the kitchen you saw Emmett kissing Rosalie.

"Morning you two," you greeted them causing both of them to turn to you in shock.

Rosalie's face clouded with guilt, but you shook your head.

"It's okay Rose, I'm happy for the both of you."

She smiled at you before leaving the room with Emmett, who waved goodbye to you with a smile of his own.

You had no idea if Alice wanted to be with you, the way you wanted to be with her, but you figured to have some time to yourself for a while – that and you had no clue where Alice actually was.

As you walked through the woods, you enjoyed the nature around you and the fact that it was so peaceful with the birds and the rest of the wildlife going about their days.

There was something about nature that caused you to calm down and appreciate it in its entirety.

You took a seat at the base of a tree trunk, leaning back against it.

"What's got you looking all sad?"

Alice's voice caused you to jump as she dropped down next to you from the branches of the tree.

"I thought you were working today."

You shook your head. "I'm not sad Alice, and no. I wasn't needed in, so I had a lie in."

"That's good, you needed a break."

"I work too much do I?"

She laughed, relaxing next to you. "Well you are up at six in the morning and working until ten at night practically every day."

"The money is worth it Al, I wouldn't do it if it wasn't."

"You know we could help you out."

You shook your head again. "No Alice, I couldn't depend on you guys like that. Plus, I still live with my parents."

"I'd like it if you depended on me."

"What do you mean?" you questioned out of confusion.

She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I know you went for Rose first, but I guess I just would like it if...well...you know."

You smiled at her, placing your hand on her knee. "You know Rosalie is back with Emmett, right?"

Surprise overtook Alice's features, giving you the answer, you expected.

"And besides, I'd choose you any day."
