Volturi Guards x Cloning Reader.

The four guards sat in a booth at a small diner on the side of the highway, discussing their next move on this new threat arising from a very troubling coven. Jane next to her brother, and the other two in front of them. They each had a beverage on the table to avoid suspicion, and Jane had put in an order of fried cheese sticks.

"Master Aro made it perfectly clear, we are not to attack, just keep an eye on them and report anything we find." Demetri stated, shooting his friend's idea down. There were only four of them, and ten of members of that coven. They had no idea what they were up against. The gifts they bore were still unknown to the guards, but Felix has reasons to believe that one of them has the ability to clone herself. Aro found that highly interesting.

"Maybe we don't attack them," Alec speaks up, casting a quick look outside as a vehicle pulls up. The others frown, following his gaze. A female leaves the vehicle, and looks around before disappearing into the woods. They noticed the bracelet she wore, and saw the gem attached to it. The crest of her Coven was made known.

"Looks like someone's a little too far from her Covens protection." Jane muses, a small smirk forming.

"What now? We go and kill her, and hope to kill them off one by one?" Felix asked, looking between the three vampires. "Aro, like you said, wants us to figure out what they are up to, not kill them without reason." He growled in a low voice, not wanting to alert the people to their conversation.

Jane fixed her glare to the man, and leaned forward. "Not kill, question." She says, getting up while pulling out a twenty out, and setting it on the table. The table shocked under her force, causing the tea from Alec's cup to fly out, and hit the table. He frowned at the sight, but ignored it.

    "Let's go."

--------

You moved along the narrow path of the woods, humming softly to yourself. You kept a close eye on your surroundings, and admired nature from afar, not bothering the creatures of the woods. You stop by a tree, and an uneasiness comes over you. Looking around, you frown, and hide behind the tree as the sound of footsteps grow closer. You focus, and disappear, blinding in with your surroundings.

A male walks up, stopping, and looking around while sniffing. "She was here," He says to the others that join him. He wore a necklace, a 'V' crest hung from it. A low growl left your lips. You knew someone was spying on your Coven.

"We need to find her. We'll take her back to Aro, and he can see what her Coven is up to." The smaller, female one snarls. Frowning, you focus and clone yourself. Your eyes watch your double move from behind the tree, and in front of them. Each member of the Volturi watches, and they encamp your double.

"What do you want?" You speak through her.

"We have come to question you." Jane says, stepping forward to speak for her group. She looked at you with no respect, and looked as if she knew no matter what, they were gonna win.

Your double smirked. "Why do the Volturi wish to question me? Have I broken your Master's rules, that they send their most trusted dogs to take me in?"

It was silent, you watched Jane look you up and down, a smirk coating her lips. "Pain," She whispers, waiting. A deep glare takes hold of her face, and she looks at her companions. "Get her," She demands, turning on her heel to walk back and watch from a distance with her brother as Demetri and Felix slowly walk toward your double.

You smirk, feeling yourself expand from both sides, two more of you walk out from behind the trees and stand beside your double. Felix's eyes go wide, and he remembers. There was a vampire with a cloning ability in the Coven. He takes a step back, and looks around. Nudging Demetri, he looks at the three females in front of them.

"Neither of these are her, she's here somewhere. Go look for her so she can't..reproduce?" He questions, not knowing how else to explain it. "More of herself." Demetri frowns, not really wanting to leave Felix with the three new vampires, but looks back and motions for Alec to follow him. Jane stays behind, trying to inflict the clones with her gift, but neither one of them drops in pain.

Removing his cloak, Felix smirks and winks. "Sorry ladies, but this is where we say goodbye."

You watch the tracker begin to sniff around, and try to pick up your track. "Shit," You whisper to yourself, backing up slowly, trying to not make any noise. You began looking for an escape route. That taller guard was wiser than you thought, and with one look, you saw he already had one of your clone's head coming off, the rest of her body disappearing and dissolving into a cloud of dark shadows. He looked a bit terrified, but relieved that he recognized her as one of your clones.

....

You made it back onto the road, and slid into your driver's seat, and started the car up. With a sigh of relief, you head back home. You made sure to drive fast, knowing they would soon realize you left, and if they hadn't attacked your Coven yet, then that's where you'd be safer.

......

"(Y/N), where have you been? I was about to send someone out to collect you." Your leader, Alejandro, says as he walks down the stairs. His hand was busy rolling his sleeve up, his lover, Rosalina following behind him.

You stayed silent, a bit upset at earlier events. Your Coven mates soon gathered around you. Ophelia, Mark, Zechariah, and Antonio were the only ones missing. More than likely busy with building onto the house as Alejandro ordered. This was to be our home, our town. We were gonna make it so, and become a family in doing so. He'd always tell you and the others while around a fire, Rosalina clinging to him, as they'd lean in to kiss, believing in those dreams and thoughts.

Closing and locking the door, and letting out a deep breath. "The Volturi are here." This caused the others to quickly flood into the room, worry stitched into their faces. Only Alejandro seemed unphased. You watched, a bit confused as to why he wasn't. He always stressed the importance of staying silent to not attract the Volturi's attention, but with how quick your Coven grew, you knew it was inevitable.

He motioned for everyone to silence their words, and stood in the center of the circle you all formed. "Be at ease, I knew this was coming. Now, (Y/N), did they speak to you?" He questioned, turning to look at you, his hands joined together in front of him as he stood tall.

You gulped, and nodded. "Somewhat," You answered, causing him to tilt his head with a brow lifted. "I knew someone was following me, so I hid and camouflaged myself, releasing a clone to distract them, and get information from them. The little one, Jane, said how they wanted to question me on the business my Coven had going on here." You finished explaining, feeling the tension grow. Alejandro took some steps toward you, his eyes growing dark.

"And?' He questioned, stopping just a few inches from you.

"I didn't say anything, I promise, but they wanted to take me in, so I cloned two more of me to fight them off as I made an escape, but the taller guard, Felix, knew I wasn't in the mix and sent Demetri and Alec to search for me."

Alejandro closed his eyes, his hand ranking down his face. A growl left his mouth as he turned, and threw a small table into the set of stairs, shattering it to tiny pieces in the process. "Which one of you did not follow my one rule?!" He yelled, eyes pitch black. He looked between the nine members of his coven, watching as they cowered in fear. You looked at each member as well, and watched the eyes of Micah avoid meeting Alejandro's. He was the youngest, the freshly turned one as well.

"Which one of you left our town, our safety, and made yourself and Coven known?" He asked, stepping to each one of his Coven members. He, too, noticed Micah avoiding his gaze. Frowning, he leaned down to look the younger boy in the eyes, and growled. "Micah?" He demanded. Micah looked up, his blood red eyes shining with such fear that it made you physically sick.

"I'm sorry," Micah finally spoke up, stepping back and looking at everyone. "I didn't mean for them to learn about us, I swear! But, how can you honestly expect us to stay here! This tiny town with barely any food for us! We are starving here. Old ladies, and homeless people are not satisfying!" He growled, stepping up to Alejandro.

"I did disobey you, but I had no choice! Outside of this town are women with the best blood types, men with a strong fill to their blood as if you're drinking a strong alcoholic drink, and so much more to choose from. We are predators, not prey. We can make our own choices." He growls, looking at each member, walking around, hoping to gain a hearing, and someone on his side.

"Not in my Coven," Alejandro growled. You knew this wasn't going to end well.

Micah stopped walking, turned toward Alejandro and glared. "Maybe I don't want to be a part of your Coven any longer." He replies, opening the front door, and consuming you in the process.

"Are you mad, boy? I gave rules because the Volt-"

"You have filled our heads with that nonsense for too long. Do you honestly think they can be stronger? I mean, they stay in a castle in Italy, who are they that are stronger than us? Or the whole Vampire world."

"Well tell that to the King's yourself Micah, and leave us out of it." You say, moving forward. Your gaze flickered, and you saw movement in the outside.

"I don't think so. You see, I don't plan to be by myself. This is my Coven now, and you Alejandro will leave, or die." He says, eyes turning black as he focuses on Rosalina. Her screams fill the house, and her body drops to the floor. You watched in terror as her mouth filled with blood.

"Micah! Stop!" You yell, moving to stand in front of him. Before you could, a thick cloud of black smoke flows into the house, taking him in a tight hold. He looked down, and before he could react, he was also on the floor, but no sound nor movement came from him.

Alejandro moved to his lover's side, looking up at Zechariah. "Carry her upstairs." He demands, looking outside.

They were here.

—--

A fire gave light to the dark yard as Micah's body burned. You felt a tug at your heart. You hated this. All because of one person, your Coven has now been torn apart, and it felt like a deep trust issue was circling the Coven. Alejandro was wise to know that none of his members were extraordinarily gifted, all but you, but even then, with Jane's gift and Alec's, and the brute strength of the other two, he knew he couldn't risk seeing anymore of his family die that day.

"We apologize for the trouble our member has caused, I apologize, for it was my lack of supervision that allowed him to go and do what I strictly forbade him from doing." Alejandro boldly says, being a few feet in front of his coven, ready to take the blame to spare his Coven.

Jane smirked, giving me an odd look. "We spoke with Aro, and he is willing to forgive your Covens' crime." She states, watching as Alejandro seemed to relax at her words. He smiled down at Rosalina, and she closed her eyes, feeling relieved.

Jane allowed this moment to last for only a minute, before he could thank her, she said, "But, Aro wishes for your cloner to return to Volterra with us. For he is intrigued by her ability." She says, looking at you, knowing this news wrecked you, but you didn't allow it to show.

You glared, and went to clone yourself, but you were stopped by looking at your leader. He had this conflicted, sadden look. You were his first member to be turned, and joined his Coven. He loved you like you were his own child. His eyes met yours, and you stood still. You knew when Alejandro came to a decision, especially when it was one he hated. You closed your eyes, accepting your fate.

"Good, we'll be leaving in the morning, we expect to see you in Italy within the week. Or else we will return, and root you out." Jane threatens, disappearing with her Coven mates.
