♡ The Foster Moms - Part One ♡
Part One--
The halls of the castle grew silent with each passing minute. There was an important meeting in the Throne room, meaning all the vampire's had to be active for it. Olivia sat quietly on her window seal, and read a novel. That's all she ever did, was read. She wasn't able to go to school, nor leave the castle. She grew up surrounded by the same faces. It was pretty boring, and ridiculous, but Olivia knew why. She wasn't like most kids. She grew faster, talked faster, learned faster, walked faster, and even could live off blood. Yup, she was a hybrid child just like Reneesmee Cullen. Olivia was born to a woman by the name of Elizabeth Williams, and to a man by the name of Demetri Volturi. Her mother was just a one night stand to Demetri, but after three weeks had passed, she showed up at the castle claiming to be pregnant. Thus forth Olivia Grace Volturi was born. Elizabeth didn't want to be a mom to a "monster's sperm child" So she was kept in Demetri's room. Aro saw this as the perfect opportunity to get more information about Hybrids, so he allowed the child to be born. Demetri loved his daughter from the very moment she was born. Elizabeth refused to hold the baby and didn't even want to be turned, so she was left to die. Olivia was glad her father at least loved her, but she hated that he allowed Aro to compare her strength and speed, and other things to Jane. Aro kept a book on Olivia, always analyzing her and questioning her. This only lasted till she was fully matured, and she was glad.
"Another book, done and done!" Olivia whispered to herself as she closed the book and threw it to the side. With a sigh, she looked out her window at all the people in the city. Children were running around, and people were taking pictures. Olivia envied humans. She wanted to have friends, a spouse, someone to go to other than her dad and uncle Felix. The only people she hung out with were the twins and sometimes Renate. Chelsea didn't stay at the castle, and only came when needed. Heidi hated Olivia's guts, because she stole all of Demetri's attention.
A knock at her door brought her out of her thoughts, "Come in," She said just above a whisper. In walked Alec, her guy best friend.
"What do I owe the pleasure of being visited by you, your royalness?" She joked, hopping down from her window and making her way over to Alec. He smiled down at the girl he was lucky to call his friend, and fixed her volturi crest.
"The Masters want you, they said it was urgent." He replied, holding his hand out for her to take it.
"Well we don't want to keep them waiting, now do we?" Olivia said, taking his hand and following close beside him.
All eyes fell on the two as they entered, and made their way to the center of the room, - "Masters," Alec bowed, letting go of Olivia's hand and moving to go and stand beside his sister, Jane.
Descending down the stairs, Aro takes Olivia's hand in his own. - "Ah dear Olivia, I see you've been bored here lately." He comments as he lets go of her hand. She allows her hand to fall to her side as she eyes him suspiciously.
"Somewhat," She says with a shrug.
'Well I don't want to keep you too long, but we have a very important mission for you." Aro tells the hybrid girl while sitting back down. This sparks Olivia's interest, seeing as she has never been sent on a mission with her father before.
'Master?" demetri cuts in, moving in to close the space between himself and his daughter. He pulled her in closer to him, feeling uneasy about what was going through Aro's mind.
"I will not put your daughter in harm's way son." Aro puts his hand up, causing Demetri to visibly relax.
"My brothers and I just thought it would be a nice experience for little Olivia here, to go stay with the Cullens in Forks." Aro finishes with a creepy grin. A growel ripples through Demetri's chest as he throws a glare toward his masters.
"You would make plans concerning my daughter, without me?" He hissed, pushing Olivia further behind him.
"Watch your tongue boy." Caius growels, glaring Demetri down.
"Quiet brother, Demetri has every reason to be upset. We only ask this seeing as it will form a tie between our two covens, and will allow Olivia here to get out and make new friends." Aro explains, with a grin still plastered to his face.
Olivia loved the idea of getting out and making friends, and seeing the world. So she looked over at her dad with sad eyes. Demetri couldn't help but melt at the look she gave him. All these years he's tried to protect her from the world, and keep her close, would be for nothing if he let her leave. But would he risk letting her down just for his own insecurities? He knew how much she dreamed to leave this dreadful castle and meet new people, and not just the ones who come in for their feast.
With a sigh of defeat, Demetri looks over at Aro and asks, "When would she have to leave?" Olivia gasps in delight and hugs her father, and kisses his cheek. - "Thank you daddy,"
"We were hoping she could leave first thing tomorrow morning. Gives you time to pack and say your goodbyes." Aro tells the two. Demetri just nods and takes his daughter's hand, escorting her out the throne room.
Demetri sat and listened to his daughter go on about how she couldn't wait to meet the Cullens, and how she would call him or text him to keep him updated. He could barely pay attention though, his mind was way too preoccupied with worry and fear that something would happen to his reason for existing. He knew the only Cullen's that cared to keep the peace between the two Covens were Carlisle and Esme. Everyone else could care less about any member of the Volturi. Demetri had many enemies, and if one of them tried to get at him through his daughter, then there would be no one to protect her.
"Seems like dad ain't listening." came the voice of Demetri's closest friend, Felix. Looking up, he glares at Felix as Olivia zips up her suitcase.
"Really dad?" She groans, going over to plop down on her bed.
"Hey! I'm sorry, I just can't help but...-" - "Worry?" Jane cuts him off while entering, Alec right behind her.
"You're not the only one Demetri. I don't trust the Cullens." Alec hisses.
"Guys, chill. All will be fine." Olivia speaks up, causing all four pairs of eyes to be on her. - "I'm fully matured now as well. No longer a helpless little girl." She defends herself, feeling stressed out by all their stress.
"She does have a point y'all, and if anyone touches her or does harm to her. They'll have to answer us." Felix backs his niece up, ruffling her hair.
Demetri just lets out a groan as Olivia smiles at him. Felix always backed her up. Demetri felt like he was constantly fighting with his best friend over stuff like this.
With a shake of his head, He stands, "I know, I know!" He says throwing his hands up in defeat.
"Olivia, get your shoes on. I want to go grab something to eat with you." Demetri smiles at Olivia as she hops up in excitement. All four vampires leave her to get changed, and some shoes on.
She rushed down the halls, not paying attention to where she was going until she bumped into someone that sent her falling to the floor. Looking up she saw a very pissed off Heidi.
"Watch it hybrid." she sneered at the little girl.
"Sorry," Olivia rolled her eyes at the fisherman's attitude.
"I can't wait till you're gone," Heidi growels, turning to leave the area. Shrugging, Olivia continued her journey down the hall to find her dad. This would be the first time in months since they've left the castle to spend time together. Seeing Demetri by the front doors, she smiled and quickened her steps.
"Ready honey?" He asked, noticing her outfit change. She wore a long sleeve white and brownish orange strips, dark blue ripped skinny jeans, and white shoes. - "Yup!"
