You sat on a chair as you await another day to finally be able to speak with Jane. It has been a week, a WEEK darn it, and she has yet to come around and speak to you. Yeah she'll come in to bring you food, and water, sometimes a new book, but that was it! Oh and let's not talk about what happened when you asked to be able to go outside. She bout nearly lost her mind, and got mad at you!

You were tired of this. Stuck in a room with no outlet to charge your now dead phone, restricted meals, no outside connections. This girl didn't even have a window! This was like prison. Today, though, you were going to demand change.

She walked in at her usual time, with your lunch and placed it down. This time though, you flipped the tray to catch her off guard.

As soon as her wide eyes darted to the ground, you started to run towards the open door. You made it to the front doors surprised she hadn't caught you yet.

It was a sunny day so you used to that to your advantage and walked amongst a crowd in the heat of the day. Seeing a cafe, you run into it and sit down to catch your breath. Placing your head down in your arms.

Moments pass and you feel a cold breeze hit you, and your heart feel a pull. "Oh no." You thought to yourself.

She found you. Lifting your head up you catch her cold but....hurt gaze on your heated form. Confused by her silences and hurt you tilt your head a bit. --- "Why'd you run." She asked, rather calmly. - "Why'd you come after after me." You asked, not caring to show any emotion at all, nor your fear.
"I asked you something first!" She growled, causing you to flinch.
"You obviously don't care for me. So why would I stay in that little hell hole you placed me in?" You demanded, glaring at her. Her face softened at the sight of her mates deep wounds. Jane never attended to push her own mate away, it was more of her showing who she was, and being herself. But her being herself, caused her mate nothing but pain. - "I'm sorry." Jane confessed, shocking you. Your eyes widened, and you felt as lost for words. You looked at the blonde, seeing her red eyes already eyeing you down. You felt....a different emotion now.

Jane reached and grabbed your hand, and held it tightly. You looked at the both of your entwined hands, and a small smile made it's way to your face. This was the first gentle touch she gave you.

"If I promised to do better. Would you please return with me?" She asked with sad eyes. She was letting her guard down around you.

You sighed, squeezed her hand, and answered........
