The morning birds sang their morning songs as the sun came over the hills, and positioned itself in the sky for all to see. Volterra Castle sat on one of those hills, as busy as ever. Aro and his brothers spent their free time filling out paperwork, and discussing plans on what to do with the Cullens. Apparently their hybrid child has decided to go forth and start a family of her own with that mutt she was mated with. 

   “Well, like I said brothers. Our decisions are being watched by the seer of the family. We must act quietly, and quickly.” Aro sighed, leaning back. His patients with Carlisle have run thin. 

   “I agree Aro, lord knows what kind of abomination would come forth from them.” Caius sneered, pouting as he looked down at the letter that was sent to them by one of their members who was stationed in Forks to keep an eye on the family. 

Marcus could care less about the whole ordeal. Even if he did, nothing of what he had to say would matter to his brothers. Tiny footsteps reach each King's ears, as a heartbeat is heard. Aro smiled as he could since his daughter, Navy Rome, standing right outside their office door. 

Before her tiny fist could reach the nob, Aro had the door open and his child in his arms.
He spun her around with himself, and kissed her cheek. - “Figlia mia, che piacevole sorpresa.” Aro said, placing her down and grabbing her by the hand to guide her inside. 

 
   “Ciao papà! Sono venuto per dirti una cosa!” Navy said, causing shock to spread all over Aro’s face. - “ I see you’ve been practicing your Italian mio caro.” Aro said, sitting down and placing her on his lap. Caius and Marcus smiled at the little eight year old. 
  
  “What is it you wanted to tell me, my child?” He asked. 

  “Well mommy told me that you and her, are like kings and queens of the vampire world!” Navy said, dramatically swinging her arms all over the place. She almost hit Aro, who just shushed her and told her to calm down. 

   “Yes my dear, that is correct. We are like Kings and Queens of the vampire world. So it is your uncle Marcus and Caius, and Aunt Athenadora.” Aro explained, causing her eyes to go wide and mouth to drop open. - “So that would make me a princess?!” She asked. - “Yes Navy, it would. Why else do you think all the guards address you by princess?”

   “Wow,” -  “So since i’m the princess, you and mommy are the King and Queen. Would that mean one day I will be a ruler?!” Marcus couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped his mouth. His niece was just as enthusiastic as her father. Aro chose his word carefully, trying not to hurt his daughter's feelings. 

   “If you are good, and show you are responsible enough to take on such a task. Then maybe, one day, you will take over my Throne, and be Queen of the Vampire world.”  

    ...…….....FIVE DAYS LATER…………

The many stationed guards stood in amazement as the human servants came back and forth, delivering snacks and drinks to the princess. Who was currently in her fathers throne, demanding everyone to redecorate the whole interior of the throne room. Pink ribbons hung from the wall, as a huge disney rug was placed over the drain in the center of the room. More light was in as the Navy had Santiago and Afton place LED lights all over the walls. 

The King's were gone, due to some business they had to deal with out of town. So little Navy took it upon herself to keep the Castle going smoothly. 

Music was playing in the background as she sat and ate her PB&J sandwich. She was so excited for her dad to get home, and see how responsibly she was and how she even redecorated for him. 

The double door swung open, and each King stood in shock at the mess they saw. Caius was disgusted, Aro was enraged, and Marcus already had an idea on who was behind this. Caius went to scowl the many vampires, but was cut off. 

   “DADDY! You’re back right on time.”

   “Darling, princess, love of my life. What in the world do you have going on here?” He asked, his eyes wide as his daughter just smiled up at him. 

   “Well since you were gone, along with Uncle Caius and Marcus. I decided to rule in your place today. To prove that when I’m older, I can be trusted with the task of ruling the Vampire world.”

Aro sighed, and rubbed his temple, remembering the past conversation he had with the child. Her smile was still on her face as she awaited her fathers response. Oh how she hoped she pleased her father, and proved she could be held responsible for the people. 

 “Navy, you did an outstanding job! And the decorations, wow, they’re perfect.” Aro lied.But the look in his baby’s eyes was worth it… ~
