Once the Volturi had received word that humans were living with the Cullens. They knew they had to act. So, taking his brothers and four best guards, Aro left the comfort of his home, and set off to Forks Washington. Alice was never aware until it was too late. The day they arrived, the Cullens were out hunting, meaning their daughters were home by themselves.

Aro led his coven inside the house, after seeing the back door was left open, and one by one they made their way to the living room. Where you sat, unbothered by their presence.

     "May I help you?" a soft, chime like voice sounded out, filling the air.

     "Yes, my name is Aro-"

     "Volturi?" The mysterious girl stood, turning around until each member could get a full look at her face. A deep gash ran across her face, from cheek to cheek, and her eyes were a bright white, meaning she had to be blind. Her neck was covered in burns, and she held a cane in her hand. Aro was taken back by the girl's appearance, and by her knowing of them. Surely the Cullens must have planned to turn her then. Listening closely, Aro could hear three more heartbeats that filled the home.

     "We see you're not alone, dear...?" Aro said, awaiting a response from the girl. She moved forward, perfectly as if she could see where she was going, and stood in front of Aro.

     "Raven, and no, my sisters are upstairs sleeping." was all she said, reaching her hand out and placing it upon the raven haired king's face. Aro tried to use his gift, but failed as he couldn't get passed her buriers. A smile formed on Raven's face as she placed her other hand upon his other cheek.

     "My......for a vampire, you really aren't that attractive," She chuckled to herself, backing up and letting out an unneeded sigh. Felix couldn't help but choke on his own laughter, for the first time in centuries, a human was able to step up to Aro and insult his ego. Demetri ended up hitting his friend in the side, silencing him instantly.

     "So, let me guess. You're here because my sisters and I live with the Cullens, and I know of their secret?" Raven asked, sitting down on the arm of the couch, still facing the Volturi, who all eyed her suspiciously.

     "Yes?" Aro answered, but it sounded more like a question.

     "I figured, but...you can't really punish them, because they never told me what they were. I already knew, just by looking at them." Raven sighed, shrugging her shoulders a bit, before looking back up with a bright smile. - "Besides, your secret is safe with me. I mean, who'd believe a blind girl saw vampires?" Raven let out another chuckle as she pointed to her eyes, clearly amused by her own joke.

     "What....what do you mean, you knew already?" The prized guard, Jane, stepped forward with a raised brow trying to understand what the girl meant.

     "Oh!" Raven cheered all of a sudden, taking Volturi by surprise. "You're Jane, my sweet, poor, innocent soul. How tragic your upbringing was," Raven spoke with such sadness in her voice as she stood once more, and turned her gaze right to Alec.

     "And Alec..."

     "You know, for someone who is blind, you seem to be able to look right at us and know who we are, perfectly fine" Aro rudely cuts in, annoyed with the human who successfully confused the smart king. He hated never knowing an answer to something, and this girl proved to be the first thing in years that he hasn't figured out yet.

Looking over, Raven smiled at the king. "I may not be able to see what you look like, but I know who you are, Aro Volturi, and everything you've done. Oh..." Raven looked deep into the king's red eyes, almost as if she were looking for something. This caused Aro to step back a bit. "What a beautiful sister you had, sad to see she died" was all she said, turning around as quick footsteps could be heard. Aro stood in shock and fear, knowing that this girl who stood in front of him, had the gift of sight, and knew of his disgraceful act against his dear sister Didyme. Covering his fear with his signature grin, he went to speak but Raven beat him to it.

     "Esme!" Raven cheered, moving slowly around the room to reach her motherly figure. Esme was quick to take her daughter into her arms, and kiss her cheek. Though the fresh smell of blood was heavy on her, Raven didn't seem to mind. The rest of the Cullens filled in, relieved to see, and hear, that all the girls were okay.

     "I'm going to go check on my sisters, I'm sure you all have a lot to discuss." Raven excused herself, as her family got situated in the living room, ready to explain to a very confused, and creeped out Volturi who those girls are, and why they're here.

    "Come old friend, have a seat, and let us talk like old times," Carlisle says after he knew his daughter was in the bedroom of her sisters. Aro did just that, eager to know more about the one who brought him much confusion....~
