🌌✨💔Broken Bonds - Felix Volturi P.2💔✨🌌

You once heard someone tell you that crying was how your body reacts when your mouth can't explain the pain you feel, but how was your body supposed to show the pain you felt deep down, now that you were a frozen monster? The pain of betrayal, the pain of loss. All you could do was stay to yourself and fake a smile, but even that didn't hide the pain in your eyes. It's been five years since that encounter with Felix, and even now you wished you'd gone with him, but you weren't going to allow him to feel like he can hurt you and win you over by giving an apology. Especially after what he did. Though your heart longed for his touch, his soft words in your ear, his kisses, the way he'd make you feel when he'd gently grab hold of your inner thigh while watching a movie. Every little memory sent you in pain, due to them being just that, a memory.

A soft sigh leaves your lips as you set down another bouquet of flowers in your green room. The sun hits your skin, causing a glow to radiate from you. Felix found his ways to stay in touch with you, and that was by sending flowers everyday to your home. Though Vladimir thought it was strange, you collected them. You did miss Felix, and these flowers were all you had of him. You kept each one alive, even the ones from three years ago when he first started sending them. You were glad to have something to do, seeing as Vladimir and Stephan were always out and about. Sometimes they were working, and other times they were just out doing manly things.

Footsteps could be heard moving around outside, causing you to speed into the shadows in case they belonged to a human. Looking around the banner with the romanians crest on it, you could see two cloaked people, with a V shaped crest.
"The volturi," You groan to yourself. The smaller one caught sight of you, and was instantly in front of you, the taller following suit. They lower their hoods and you visibly relax, recognizing those precious baby faces.

"Jane, Alec." You acknowledge them, giving a small nod.

  "(y/n)," the reply in sync.

'What do I owe the honor of having the witch twins visit me," You ask, sitting down on a chair that you placed in the green room just a couple days prior due to its design matching the theme of flowers.

"Aro sent us to come and ask of yours, and Vladimirs and Stephans assistance." Jane answers you, in her monotone voice, no expression whatsoever.

With a raised brow, you go to answer but your two coven mates enter with their own questioning looks. "With what?" Vlad says, moving over toward you. You could feel the tension in the room, and the stiffness of Stephan as he stood by the entrance, behind the twins.

"There has been an army rising for some time now, we didn't know until one of our greatest fighters was taken and their head was sent back with a note," Jane began to explain. -  "Apparently, there's more supernatural creatures out there that we were not aware of, and they are looking to take out the Vampire race. The Cullens have given reports of some strange type of creatures appearing on their land watching them, and just yesterday the Egyptian coven lost three of their newest members to this anonymous threat." She finished explaining, looking between Vlad and you as she did. You couldn't help but feel a deep fear overcome you as she said one of their members was taken.

"Is...is he okay?" You asked, knowing she would know instantly who you were referring to. - "Yes, I'm sorry I didn't mention the name, I just don't acquaint myself with any other guards." She replies, a small smile taking her face.

"What does this have to do with us?" Vlad asked

"Aro is forming an army of his own. Asking that all covens join together to fight this threat." Alec replies, stepping forward. - "No matter our differences,"

'The Cullens are also asking those mutts they hang with the help as well," Jane informs us, causing each of us to scrunch our noses up in disgust.

"Well," you begin, looking between your coven mates.

"No way, I don't believe it! It's a trap sister." Stephan argues, moving in closer, causing the twins to let out a growl.

"We wouldn't be here if it was!" Jane hisses, her red eyes turning a dark black as she glares at Stephan.

"You'd do anything that long haired, gender confused asshole tells you." Vlad growls, moving in front of the twins and beside his brother.

"Enough!" You stood, silencing their growls and gaining their attention. - "We'll be at the castle in the morning Jane, Alec." you reply giving idiot one and idiot two a pointed look.

"What?" Vlad asked, his eyes wide and face scrunched up. - "Do you honestly believe this bull they are selling us sister?" He asked, moving in to grab your hand. His eyes were soft, and unreadable, but you knew him better than he knew himself. He was scared they were trying to take you. Sighing, you cup his cheek with your free hand and kiss him gently. "We are all at risk here if we don't eliminate the threat immediately, together!" you try to reason, causing  him to groan and back down. You smile to yourself, and move closer to the twins.

"It is getting dark my loves, please do stay so that nothing happens to you on your way home.: You say, fearing that whatever is after yall would try and attack Jane and Alec while they are alone. You could feel the Vlads and stephand eyes heavy on you. Sometimes they act like such children who need constant pampering.

"I suppose it will be best for us to not be traveling at night alone," Jane says slowly, looking at her brother who just nods.

"Excellent, you two can stay in my room seeing as the other ones are pretty empty." you tell the two, guiding them toward the house.

---
"You know, I don't condone what Felix did, but he truly does miss you (y/n)" Jane tells me, as her head is tilted back into my lap. My hands work through her blonde hair, forming a braid that will come down to join with her hair into a bun. The sun had started to rise over the earth, and we all planned to head out in a few hours. Alec sat doodling while I did Jane's hair for the day.

"I know, and I miss him Jane...all of yall to be exact, but I just can't be near him. The pain of what he did is still there, and I know when I see him...and her...I just..I just can't! You try your best to say what you felt, but your words come out all jumbled and you just give up, sighing and giving Jane's shoulders a tight squeeze.

"I understand (y/n)." was all she said, standing to look at herself in the mirror.

"We should start to head out if we want to be there by noon so you two can eat," You stand as well, moving to grab your phone and keys.  Giving the twins a quick nod, you all speed out to the garage, the twins split off from you and head toward the vehicle they brought, and Steph opens the passenger door for you and you get in. Vlad takes the driver's seat, and Steph hops into the back. You're quick to put the radio on as soon as Vlad turns the vehicle on, and you put it on your favorite station.

You three waited a while before hopping out and heading for the castle. The place looked the same on the outside as it did eight years ago. Jane and Alec must have already gone to the throne room due to them not being in the main room under the clock tower. You looked around and remembered all the times you walked this route to get to the throne room or Felix and your old shared bedroom. You guided the two toward the staircase around the corner next to that same dead plant, and walked down motioning for them to follow you. You made it to the last step and walked into the elevator once the doors opened, and they joined you. Pressing the floor number, you let out an unnecessary breath as you could feel a weird bubbly feeling in your chest, you knew you were close to him...and you'd soon see him face to face again. The elevator dinged, opening revealing the same old secretary area. The only difference was the woman behind the desk. She was a beautiful red haired, young female, who looked to be in her early twenties. She stood to say a small hello, and sat back down. She didn't look too happy to be here, you don't blame her. There's a good 99.99 percent chance she'd become someone's snack. You three round her desk into the hall that will lead you to the throne room, and make your way down the once "scary hall", but now that you're a vampire, the lack of light doesn't faze you. You brace yourself for the reunion with the rest of your old family.

"Are you sure you want to do this sister?" Stephan asked, grabbing hold of your hand, keeping you from moving any further. You lock eyes with him and nod gently.

"We're already here brother, no reason to turn around now," you reply, and look toward the doors. If this was a trap, then it would be a pretty clever one, but if not, you feared what could be the fate of you and the many people you hold close to heart.

Nodding, Stephan moves behind you to let you guide them inside. The door immediately opens up for you, and you just stand there in the doorway as the guard who opened them quickly moved to stand in the shadows.

"Ahh, my sweet (y/n), we are so glad you three could come and be of help." Aro says, standing up and making his way down the three steps. 'Here goes nothing,' you think to yourself as you move to meet him in the center of the throne room. It was the brightness of the three they had, and the one that brought more comfort due to the many fun memories you'd had the pleasure of creating here.

"Well, this threat affects not only you, but us as well seeing as this force is after us all." You reply, trying your best to not meet the awaiting gaze of felix. You could feel his eyes burning into you, watching your every movement carefully. Aro held your hand gently, watching each memory that passed through his mind carefully. He could feel a small smirk form on his milky face as he could hear the many thoughts you held toward Felixs.

"Well, I'm sure we are all grateful for your support," Aro says nodding toward Vlad and Steph, who were as stiff as stiff could be. Taking note of this, you move back till you are right in between them.

"The Cullens, and Denali coven will be here later tonight. I guess we'll have a full house," Aro cheers, clapping his hands together.

"Every single vampire will be here?" You ask, with a raised brow.

"Why yes, well, every Coven out there. Nomads are more than welcome to join the cause to prevent our kind from going extinct, but we have no way of getting a hold of them seeing as we only keep in touch with Covens," Aro explains while moving back to his throne. He held a smile as he did so. You nod, knowing damn well he was putting up a mask behind that creepy grin. You could practically feel the fear that radiated off everyone in the room. There was no way to know what this threat is capable of without knowing who the threat was.

"I see..." you trail off, your eyes betray you and move to look at Felix. You could feel your heart shattered at the sight of him. He was paler than usual, looked to be a greyish color, his eyes were so dark that you could see your reflection in them, his lips looked cracked, his clothing was all messed up, and he had a horrible smell radiating off him. Any anger or grudge you held against him vanished as you moved closer. His eyes met yours as you just gazed at him. The spark he once held, or cocky grin he would always wear no longer was evident on his face.

You opened your mouth to speak, but the double doors busted open, cutting you off. - "Masters!! It's Corin!" That name sent a rush of anger down your spine. You look to see a guard rush in holding her partially naked body that looked to be together. She didn't look dead...well, less alive than she already was. Her body was set down in front of the masters, and it was then that you could get a full view of her front side. A huge chunk of her chest was ripped out, leaving an oval shape opening in her body. Her eyes, tonge, teeth, fingers, toes, and ears were also ripped off. Though her body was frozen from being a vampire, it was still a horrific sight, which would have caused you to throw up. None of the men looked on too long, due to her only having her underwear on, but you grabbed the nearest guards cloak and covered her up. Yeah you were pissed off at her, but wouldn't even wish this on her. Vladimir quickly took you in his arms, causing Felix to let out the weakest growl, which would have sounded pathetic to any opponent.

'I guess they really weren't lying," Stephan comments, shaking his head as he can't help but look down in terror. What out there has the strength to do this to a Vampire?

----
You watched as Garrett and Alec, and Heidi and Kate fought in the center of the training room. All the covens were seated down on the bleachers that sat up against the walls of the training room. Each round was between two men and two women from opposite Covens. The leaders of each Coven sat at their own section calling a member from their Coven to the center to fight. Since none of us knew what we were fighting against, all we could do was train and learn how to use our gifts to the fullest. Garrett sent Alec flying toward the wall, causing him to slam up against it and leave not only a nice crack across the wall, but one on his cheek. As Alec tried to regain his strength, Heidi tried to survive the electric shocks going through her body. From being here last, you knew Heidi wasn't a fighter. All she could do was look pretty and bring in people for the Volturi's meals.

"Dang, Kate's real good at using that hand," Steph says in your ear, causing you to swat his arm but smile at his joke. You watched as Alec relied more on skill than his gift, due to him being able to easily take Garrett out by his gift. The Daneli and Volturi Coven both cheered as each of their coven mates gained the upper hand. This lasted for an hour or two before Alec finally gave in and took out Kate and Garrett with his gift, claiming victory for him and Heidi. You cheered Alec on as he smirked, but shaked hands with Garrett. You could see a bond forming between everyone as they trained and fought against one another, being instructed by their leaders. This was an amazing idea to be honest. A house divided will not stand. So you all needed to be on the same side, even if there were deep roots of anger and hatred between certain people in the room.

"Benjamin, Kebi," Amun calls out, causing the two to stand and walk over to the center of the room, everyone cheering for them. - "(y/n), since you used to be part of our Coven, and Felix." Marcus says, a small wink toward you as you stand and move, everyone goes silent though, and looks to see Felix slowly make his way toward the center to join your side. You watch him just stand there, emotionless. His eyes looking deep into yours. How did they expect him to fight?

"Five, four, three..." Aro began the countdown, - "two, one.. fight!"

Kebi and Benjamin make the first move, Felix and you easily dodging their attacks. Kebi is quick to turn back and head toward you, but you block her attack and hit her in her stomach, sending her across the mat. You look over to see Felix doing alright, but you knew he was far more capable of handling someone like Benjamin with ease. You must have gotten too caught up in looking, because the next thing you knew Kebi had you by the neck, on the floor. She had her knee pressing down in the middle of your back, causing you to be stuck in the position. Good thing your hand was free, because with a quick movement of it, you sent Kebi flying across the room. She ended up being tossed into a mirror, shattering it in the process. She had gotten up, shaking off all the pieces of glass, and glaring at you, a growl leaving her mouth as she did so.

Benjamin had gained the upper hand and had Felix down, and cracks were forming all over his face as Benjamin waited for him to tap in and call the round over. One of his hands was being held back as well by the Egyptian boy.

Shooting your right and left hands out in front of you, you lift Benjamin off of Felix, and keep Kebi from advancing toward you. This was the first time you've done this, and it wasn't all that hard as you expanded your ability even further to cause them to fall to the ground and all the pressure to fall upon them, and cracks to form on their faces. Everyone in the room went silent and watched as you did so, even Felix couldn't help but gawk at you. He couldn't help but think about how beautiful you were using your gift, Of course to him, everything about you was beautiful. You ended up catching his gaze, and getting lost in watching him watch you.

A small tap catches your attention as you look to see Kebi hitting her hand against the hard tile repeatedly. A smirk crosses over your face as you release them from your gift. Each of them take their time to get up, checking on one another as they do so. They walk over toward you and Felix's and shake yalls hand.

"You did good." You compliment Kebi as she gives you a small smile in return, and turns to go sit down. Her cracks are still trying to heal.

"You two did great!" Aro cheers, a huge smile plastered on his face,

  "Thank you Aro,"

  "Thank you master." Felix replies.

You take your seat in between Vlad and Stephan, as the new fighters take their positions: Alice and Edward vs Maggie and Liam. You zone out as they all fight, and watch Felix whisper here and there little comments on the fight with Demetri. You could tell Demetri tried his best to help Felix deal with his depression. He was a really good friend after all.

"You did well," Vladimir says, gaining your attention. - "Thank you," you reply with a bright smile. He leans in to capture your lips, but you move your head back, taking him by surprise. "I'm sorry...I just can't continue doing this anymore," you tell him, motioning between you two. "I understand, you are having a change of heart." Vlad says softly, an understanding and sincere look in his eyes as he grabs hold of your hand and smiles. "I just hope we can still be friends?" He asked, with a raised brow. - "Of course! I'd love that." you reply, wrapping your arm around him and giving him a side-ways hug.

A sharp gasp is heard from Alice, as she stops mid fight and looks off into the distance. Maggie, noticing her abrupt stop, stops as well, along with Liam and Edward. Jasper hops up and rushes to his mates side as she comes back to reality. All eyes are on her, awaiting what she saw. She looked between her mate and Coven leader, fear clearly in her face as she tried to find the words.

   "Whatever it is...they're here."
