♧My brown eyes scanned over the book within my hands. A smile formed upon my face as I finished the last chapter of, "100 days of Sunlight." The smell of fresh coffee filled the night air as I sat quietly, and patiently on the front porch awaiting for my cousin, Bella. I recently came up here to Forks, Washington from Colorado to see my dear cousin. Let me just say, I arrived at the worst time possible for the girl. It appears she fell in love with some strange pale boy who ended up breaking her heart in the end, Charlie's words, not my own. Oh well, love comes and goes. Nothing good last forever. Setting the book down on the table, I reach for my coffee to take a sip as I lean back into the chair and look up at the sky. Stars filled the dark heavens as my eyes twinkled in delight. I found joy in the smallest of things. However, my peaceful moment was interrupted by the sound of an engine coming close to the house. Bella's raggedy old redish orange truck pulled up and out came two figures: Bella and Jacob.
I guess she moved on pretty quick.
My eyes narrowed as I look to see her hair appeared to be....wet? Maybe they went swimming or something. Shrugging my shoulders I stand to greet the two.

"Hello Bells." I greet her with a smile, "Jacob." I nod his way, not caring much of his presence.
Bella's eyes grew wide as she looked at me. A smile broke through her face as she jumped into my arms.

"Alexia ! I missed you so much." She cried out squeezing me tightly. For a smaller, fragile girl. She sure did have a good grip. Pushing her away gently I smile at her and move her brown locks out from her face. She looked to be....stressed? Sad? Upset?
I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew that she really needed that hug. Her shoulders were pretty tense and her eyes were dark. No sleep, I'm guessing. That dude really did do a number on her. In all my life I've never known Bella to care to be in a relationship. We walk in, my hand in Bella's, Jacob walks over to Bella's truck angrily with a huff. I look at Bella confused as we enter the house.
"Don't worry about him." She tells me quietly. Pushing up into my side.
We walked in, and as soon as we do, "Bella!!?" A females voice proclaims looking at Bella with a appalled look.
The sudden appearing of this woman caused my heart to race and my body to tense in defense mood.

"A-Alice!?" Bella nearly yells trying to gain her senses back from the sudden outburst of the girl. I look between the two confused as to how they knew each other, and how this girl got in. Bella hugs Alice, only to be pushed off of her, as she looks taken back. "I'm sorry, I just..just can't believe you're here." Bella explains trying to some what apologize for immediately hugging her.

"Will you mind explaining to me how you're alive? "

"What?" Bella asked looking nervous. My eyes narrow as I try to understand what's going on. What does she mean, still alive?

"I saw a vision of you. You jumped off a cliff! Why in the hell would you try to kill yourself?!? I mean, what about Charlie???"

My entire body stays still as I look at Bella with a deranged look. She tried to kill herself? I'm so cofnused, and Vision? Is Alice some sort of future teller? I thought those people were scammers. Maybe she can see my future ? No, stop! No time for jokes or stupid questions.
"Would you mind explaining yourself Bella? What is this pixie chick talking about ?" I asked crossing my arms. Looking directly into the eyes of my dearest cousin.

"I was cliff jumping....it was fun.." She tries to reason, looking down somewhat ashamed.
"Bella what's so fun about jumping off a damn cliff?!" I yell, I might be only 16 but I sometimes fell like an older sister to her. Bella looks at me sadly walking past us to the couch. Alice follows suit as do I. We all sit down on the couch and the two begin to speak. I zone out thinking about all that just happened, and how this could have been the night I lost my cousin. Lost my cousin over some stupid boy! Ugh, my head is killing me. I rub my temple as Alice looks around with a disgusted look. I raise my brow at her as she looks at Bella.

"Bella what is that awful wet dog smell? She questioned, causing me to smell myself. Don't laugh now, everytime someone mentions a bad smell I check myself to make sure I'm not the one stanking.

"Umm, that's probably me. I...its Jacob." Bella responds scooting to the edge of the couch to take the jacket off that she was wearing. Bella sets it down on the recliner near the couch.

"Jacob who?" Alice asked looking at Bella with a curious look.
Bella looks at me, and then at Alice. Looking pretty hesitant to respond. Her eyes are filled with fear as she responds, "Jacob's kind of a werewolf..." She responds looking back at me, and then to Alice.
My heart and jaw drops at that. What in the hell was going on ?!

"Bella werewolves are not good company." Alice sighs out shaking her head. She appeared to be disappointed at Bella. While I was left sitting there, listening to the three speak. Something about Cullens, Victoria, packs of mutts, I dont know. Jacob got mad, and Alice walks out.
My heart was racing as I begin to think over everything they were speaking about. Blood sucker? As in...vampires ? Please tell me this is all a prank Bella is trying to pull on me.
Alice walks out, and Bella and Jacob take their conversation into the kitchen. I get up to go into the downstairs restroom to wash my face.
"This is some crazy stuff." I say to myself as the phone rings in the kitchen. Figuring they were too busy speaking about lord knows what, I go and get it. Only to se Jacob on it, looking pretty angry.

"He's not here right now, he's arranging a funeral." Jacob replied.
"Who was that? Jacob who was that? " Bella questioned urgently. Stepping forward only for Jacob to step back, looking pissed off.
"Always in the way." Jacob says.
I was never one for violence, but the look he was giving her made me want to slap him so hard right now.
"Stay back Bella." He growls out leaning against the wall looking down at the floor. I walk over to grab Belkas hand as Alice decides to reappear all up on us silently again.
"Bella! Bella its Edward! He thinks you're dead. Rosalie told him why I came here." Bella looks at Jacob angrily and steps forward.
"Why didn-..why didn't you let me talk to him!!" She yells bitterly with her eyebrows knitted together.

"He didnt ask for you!"

"I don't care!"

"Bella! Bella! He's going to the Volturi. He wants to die too." Alice tells her with a scared look.
Everything happened to fast that I hardly had time to think. Alice and Bella were running to a vehicle and Jacob trying to stop them.
"Alexia! You need to come as well. Trust me, you'll be a big help." Alice yells out to me from the driver seat of her car as I stood in the doorway looking lost. I rush to the back seat and buckle up. Jacob still trying to stop Bella from leaving is turned down as Bella buckles up and nods to Alice.

"Let's go."

Italy was rather beautiful. Never thought I'd see this country, especially in these circumstances, but here I am!
Bella ran off to save Edward, and Alice and I join the two love birds shortly after. Upon seeing Edward, I couldn't quit see what Bella saw in him. He wasn't the best looking.....nor the kindest. He looked at me and gave me a narrowed eyed look. I don't know him much, but I sure as heck could care less about getting to know him more.

We ended up following three new strange vampires to what I assume the main guys were at, but along the way we had to take an elevator.
So, there we were: Alice, Edward, Bella and I, trapped in an elevator with who I assume were Jane, Demetri, and Felix? I don't know, but I could have sworn I hear Edward telling Bella who they were. The music that played in the background caused me to have to quietly laugh to myself. Bella looks at me with a pointed look, indicating fir me to shut up. She looked terrified, but to be honest. I wasn't, strange. I felt at peace surround by the Volturi guards for some odd reason. I was on edge with Alice, and Edward although Bella was comfortable with them. I looked back at the big fella, and grin a toothy smile at him.

"Hey big boy! How's the weather up there?" I joke, Bella once again gives me a pointed scared looking grabbing my arm and yanking. She did it just a little to hard though, because I felt my arm pop and immediately clutched my arm to my chest. "Ouch Bella! You hurt me. I was just saying hi to the man. If anything he would of killed me, not you! Since I'm the one bothering him!" I tell her with tears building up in my eyes. I know it wasn't broken, but the quickness of her actions caused pain. She seemed, rude all of a sudden. She was glaring at me. I turn to face the elevator doors as we were almost to our designated floor.

"The weather is perfectly fine up here." Felix whispered in my ear as the the elevator "dings " indicating we were on our floor. A huge smile forms on my face as I look at him with wide eyes. Amazed that he responded and was smiling at me. I notice that Demetri was in fact smiling as well at me. Bella gave me another glare as we exited and began to to walk.

"My queen, stand beside me please." Jane says all of a sudden. I look around to see who she could be speaking to, and realize it was only just us. She stops and looks at me with a kind expression. Her hand was heald out toward me as she awaited my move. Wait...she was talimg to me? Wait what!?!?

"Everything will be explained later. Trust me." Alice whispers in my ear guiding my hand into Jane's.
"She just has a duty and obligation to protect her Kings mate, even if he doesn't know of you yet. " Alice finishes leaving me still confused.
Mate? What the hell is a mate? I just listen and allow Jane to hold my hand as we walk down a long corridor. Finally arriving at two huge double doors. They open, we walk in.

"Sister, they sent you out to get one and you bring back two, and two halves. What a clever girl." A tall, pale, brown haired boy says walking forward a few steps to a prideful looking Jane, who was still holding my hand. She smiles up at her brother as he looks at me. His eyes widen with surprise as he inclines his head toward me and introduces himself.
What the heck is going on. I don't know any of them, but they are being respectful to me? I'm not even a vampire, nor anything special. I must be dreaming or something.

"Ah Bella is alive after all. What a happy surprise. I do love happy endings, they are so rare." The middle man says standing up being the most excited out of the three. Well, being the ONLY excited out of the three. He walks to meet the two in the center of the room and grabs ahold of Edward's hand, causing Bella to have to let go.

"Oh...I see." The middle man trails off after holding Edward's hand for a minute. He looks at me with an awed expression and walks forward a bit.
This caused me to shriek back behind the two who were next to me. Come to think about, these two looked to be twins. Maybe they are.

"Peace child, I won't cause you any harm." He says stopping holding his hand out in a surrender type way.
I look at him from behind Alec, my hand still in Jane's. What is with her and holding my hand? I thought she'd been let go of me by now.

"Caius brother. It appears the witch was correct." Aro says astonished as he looks at his wide eyed brother who was now to his feet staring me down.
I locked eyes with him, and felt something explode in me. I felt...happiness, peace, fulfillment, and love....wht in the world. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. His red eyes grew darker the longer we looked upon one another.

"Um, excuse me. What?" Bela questions ruining my wonderful staring contest with the man. I look to see my cousin allear to be angry.Why? I hope she's not mad at me.
"Can you explain, what witch?" She finishes causing a few growls to sound around the room.

"Two centuries ago a witch came to visit us with a message for our brother Caius. You see, we all have been on the hunt for our mate for many years after we gain power. Some have found theirs, others haven't. Marcus and I have found ours, but Caius has yet to find his missing piece." Aro starts looking off into the distance as if the whole memory was playing right before his eyes.

I jump as I'm suddenly brought into the arms of none other than Caius himself. He looks down at me with such love and compassion.
"The woman told me a prophesy." He adds bringing my hand to his mouth and laying a gentle kiss to my knuckles.

"A young girl, brown locks with stripes of blonde will come into your courts. She will be the beauty upon the dawn. Her eyes will be pools of chocolate, and her lips will be of the color of roses. Her voice will sound like soft poetry, and the beast inside all of you will welcome her without knowing her. Her scent will be that of vanilla, and her smile will be that of an angel. She will become your Queen. Your blessing will come when you least expect it....."

As he spoke the words to me, my entire being began to shiver. I felt, nervous around him. He smiled down at me as I registered all that he told me. Looking around I see that half Volturi coven has joined into the Throne room, all looking upon me with smiles. I felt...like I belonged. Like I was always meant to be here.

"Alexia ! You can not be serious. Get away from him. He's a monster." Bella yells knocking me out of my thoughts. I turn and look at her, with one hand still in Caius's and the other pointing at her. "You do not! Tell me what to do. Plus you have no room to talk, Edward is a vampire as well, and before you say ""well he drinks animal blood "" let's not forget at one point he had to have tasted human blood. " I snap feeling a sense of power wash over me. I felt like I needed to defend not only my mate, but all of the Volturi. I raise my head up, so that my nose was pointed up. I felt confident, and powerful in the moment, but realizing I was just 16 in a room filled with people who were older than me, I bet I looked ridiculous.

"The Queen will be staying with us. We've already waited two centuries for you mio amore, I refuse to wait another minute." Caius says escorting me out of the throne room. I was too flabbergasted to care. There were butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't wait to see what this beast had instore for me...♧
