"Let's go try out this new cafe that just opened up"

Mindy suggested as her hand was linked with Tai.

"Sure"

Tai agreed. He happily opened the door for her, letting her go in first. They took a seat nearby the window as they sat across each other. Tai kept his hand hold with Mindy as they placed their hands together on the table talking to each other. A waitress happily walked up to them and froze.

"Tai?"

Tai looked up and a wide smile spread across his face.

"Meiko, hey"

He said as he pulled his hand away from Mindy as he stood up and gave Meiko a hug.

"When did you get back?"

He asked once he pulled away and sat back down.

"I just got back and I moved back into your complex. So is this your friend?"

She asked looking to Mindy and gasp.

"Oh my gosh, your Mindy Rayne"

She said happily. Mindy smiled slightly and gave a slight nod at her direction.

"So Tai is she your girlfriend?"

Meiko asked looking to Tai. Tai smiled nervously as he scratched the back of his head.

"Actually we're just friends"

Mindy slightly glared at Tai.

"Oh that's good. I'm working as a waitress, so can I take your order?"

She asked. Tai smiled as he nodded.

"I'll have a cappuccino mocha with a grilled ham cheese sandwich"

Meiko happily wrote it down and looked to Mindy who put her shades down covering her eyes.

"And you?"

"Nothing"

She stated simply. Tai looked to Mindy in surprise.

"Mindy, come on get something"

"I don't want anything"

"But you were excited to try out this new place"

"Yeah well it's not that exciting anymore"

She stated. Meiko looked to Tai and Meiko and happily nodded.

"Well okay then, I'll get your order. By the way Mindy I am your biggest fan"

She said walking away. Tai narrowed his eyes slightly to Mindy.

"What's bugging you?"

He asked.

"Nothing"

"Mindy"

"I said nothing, now drop it"

She said quietly.

"You were being rude to Meiko"

Mindy remained quiet as she looked to the window.

"Now I see why Derek treated you the way he did"

He said lowly. Mindy gave him a glance but remained silent as she stared out the window. As Tai finished eating, they head back to Mindy's apartment

"She seems nice, lovely eyes"

Mindy said as she sat on the couch.

"Who Meiko? Oh really I haven't notice"

He said as he sat beside her. Mindy kept her eyes on him as he continued to flip through the channel.

"The brown eyes.."

She stated with a obvious lie.

"Actually their pink..."

Tai froze as he flipped the channel and looked to Mindy who was staring at him. He clears his throat as he turn off the TV and faced Mindy.

"Wait a second I haven't done anything, why am I feeling guilty"

Tai said nervously. Mindy nodded.

"I know. Then why do I feel so worried?"

Tai let out a sigh.

"Okay look it was a long time ago, I did liked her, my friends pushed me to her and we dated, but that was it because she moved"

Mindy nodded. Tai gave her a kiss on the lips.

"What about that last comment you told me at the cafe?"

She asked. Tai froze and shamefully looked away.

"I'm sorry about that, I was just mad at the moment"

He said as he brought her into a hug.

"I didn't mean it, honest."

"You went too far"

"I know and I'm really sorry. Do you forgive me?"

Mindy face remained motionless as she return the hug.

"I forgive you"

'This is how it all start. He's going to buy me flowers, then hurt me again, buy more flowers with chocolate and then hurt me again and again'

She thought.

*2 Days Later*

Mindy let out a sigh as she walked heading to Tai's apartment.

'What am I talking about? Why am I worried? I know Tai won't hurt me, well not physically but emotionally'

She thought as she turn the corner to Tai's building complex. She stood frozen as she stared towards the stairs in shock. At the bottom of the stairs, Tai had his arm wrapped around Meiko's waist and Meiko had her arms around Tai's neck. They were kissing holding each other close. Tai slowly pulled away as he slowly opened his eyes, in the corner of his eyes he notice someone standing. Once he pulled away from Meiko, he gasp in shock as he saw Mindy. He quickly pushed Meiko away and patted her on top of the head.

"There you go, now just be careful not to fall from the stairs"

He said nervously as he moved away from her and walked to Mindy as he scratched the back of his head nervously.

"H-hey babe"

Mindy stared at him with no emotion shown on her face.

"These are for you"

He said holding out flowers to her. Meiko turn around and smiled as she looked to Mindy.

"Hello again"

She then looked to Tai as he held the flowers since Mindy didn't bother to take them.

"Are those for her?"

"Oh yeah I said something that was inappropriate, so I'm just apologizing"

"Oh hey can I get a selfie with you"

She said as she took out her cellphone to Mindy. Mindy remained silent as Meiko wrapped her arms around Mindy's shoulder and when Meiko held up her cellphone.

"Say cheese"

When Meiko snap the photo, Mindy moved causing it to show blur.

"Hold still"

Meiko said but Mindy moved again and walked up to Tai.

"Are you busy? Because I'm planning to go already"

Tai slightly frown at Mindy's coldness ever since the cafe and just now he was sure that she spotted him and Meiko kissing.

"Where are you guys going?"

Meiko asked.

"To see a friend who just got back from her hometown"

Tai answered since he could obviously see Mindy wasn't going to answer.

"Oh well goodbye"

"Yeah, sure. See ya Meiko"

He said quietly as he walked beside Mindy.

"Mindy about what you saw..."

He began to say but Mindy cut him off as she looked to him with a smile.

"Hey it's okay. No worries"
