It was late at night, Matt and Sofie were still at the studio working on some songs alone since the band members had left not too long ago. Matt had his guitar and a paper in front of him along with a pen and Sofie had a paper in front of her.

Sofie sang. While Matt followed her with the guitar. She smiled at him as the music finished, Matt smiled in return.

"Okay I think that's enough for tonight. It's getting kinda late"

Matt said quietly as he set his guitar down.

"That was good"

"Thanks"

She said as she put her papers away.

"Hey Sofie just out of curiosity, are you dating anyone?"

"No but I do have someone in mind"

"Do you mind telling me who it is?"

"Yes I do mind but there is one problem"

"What's that?"

"He's in a relationship but never once I heard him mention her"

"Well that guy doesn't know what he's missing"

"Exactly"

"Have you told him?"

"I never got the chance"

"What about right now?"

"No, he's busy"

"How do you know?"

"Because he's right here in front of me"

She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his, catching him by surprise but the biggest shock was that he didn't pull away, he welcome the kiss as he pulled her closer. He trailed his tongue across her bottom lip begging to let him in and Sofie was more than happy to grant his access. Their tongues had gotten in a fierce battle, Sofie lost the battle as she let Matt explore the inside of her mouth as she held him from his shoulders and he held her waist pulling her close. The moment died when a sound of ringing came from Matt's phone. Matt let out a groan as he answered it but kept Sofie in place.

"Hello?"

"....."

"I'm at rehearsal right now"

He said as he looked to Sofie who was biting her bottom lip.

"...."

"Yeah I'll be home in a few minutes"

"....."

"I love you too Sora"

He said as he pulled his arm away from Sofie as moved away from her. Sofie felt her heart drop.

"Matt?"

"That was Sora she wants me to go home"

He said as he started to pack up his guitar with his back to her.

"Matt?"

She said as she walked up to him and gently grabbed his arm but he brushed her away, giving her the cold shoulder.

"Look, can we just talk about what just happened a few minutes ago"

She said sincerely, she felt tears gathering at the corner of her eyes.

"Matt, come on, you know you felt something too when you kissed me"

Matt looked at her in the corner of his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about. You were just desperate for a kiss that's all"

"No that's not it, Matt I love you."

Matt froze.

'She loves me? Oh Sofie you have no idea how relief I am to hear that. I love you too, I have just been denying it for so long, but I'm with Sora nothing can't happen but I did felt that chemistry between us'

"Why else would I come here to Japan, I just used the Hall of Music for a cover up, but the most important reason is because of you"

Matt shook his head as he continued to pack.

"Matt, just give me a chance.."

She pleaded.

"Sofie, you know I'm already with Sora"

"But"

"But? There is no 'but' I'm off the market already Sofie just move on"

He said harshly. Sofie sadly looked down in tears but she quickly wiped them and grab her things.

"I'm going to stay over at someone else's place, and then tomorrow I'll get my things"

Matt spun around to face her.

"Look you don't need to move out..."

"I need to move on, I'm a big girl and it's best to keep this relationship between us professional right?"

She said as she walked out the door leaving Matt frozen in his spot. After a while of walking, Sofie soon found herself at Tai's apartment. She let out a sad sigh as she knocked. It open to reveal Kari, Tai's little sister.

"Hi Sofie"

"Hi by any chance is Tai home?"

"Sure"

After a couple of seconds, Tai came to the door.

"Hey what's up?"

"I need to talk to you and I was wondering if you can help and maybe I can spend the night"

Tai smiled and nodded
