It's been a few days since the two stars have arrive to Japan and they had gotten adjusted to everything around them. Tai would mostly spend his whole time at the Ishida's home, for to be more acquainted with Mindy. Sofie was currently busy on the phone with her producer and by the looks of it, it seems to be good news since Sofie couldn't stop smiling. Matt, Tai and Mindy were on the couch when Sofie came running screaming with joy.

"Yes!! Oh my gosh Mindy I'm so excited!!"

She shouted. Mindy looked to Sofie.

"So you finally got the call?"

"Yes!"

Matt raised an eyebrow.

"What's going on?"

He asked. Sofie went and sat down beside Matt.

"It's the Hall of Music, don't you know"

"No I don't know. What is it?"

"Only the best of the best"

Mindy stated

"And the hotest of the hotest will perform in front of producers for to get there name out there. Are you interested?"

Sofie asked. Matt smirk.

"You think I'm hot?"

"Judging by all your fan girls then yes"

"Is it okay for us to go?"

Tai asked. Sofie nodded with a smile.

"Sure you guys can come, VIP"

Mindy said.

"Cool, so my band can come along?"

"Yes"

"And my girlfriend?"

"Yes...wait what?"

Sofie said stunned as the smile on her face quickly disappeared. Matt and Tai looked to Sofie in confusion but Mindy quickly smacked Sofie on her face with a pillow, knocking some sense to her. Sofie shook her head and glared at Mindy who simply shrugged. Sofie looked back to Matt.

"You have a girlfriend?"

She asked quietly trying to hide the hurt.

"Yeah, I hope you don't mind but I haven't seen her for the last couple of days and this Hall of Music can be like a date to her"

"You never mention it in your letter"

She asked. Tai and Mindy looked at each other before shipping out of the room quietly to give them some privacy.

"Some tension huh?"

Mindy asked to Tai. Tai nodded.

"So Tai, will you be my date for the Hall of Music"

Tai was surprised and was about to agreed but frown in thought.

"Are you sure you want to take me? What about your boyfriend?"

"He is not a big fan of music"

"But he's dating a singer?"

"I know right, what are the chances. So will you be my escort?"

Tai smiled as he grabbed her hand and gave it a kiss on the back of her hand.

"I would love too"

"Great, now let's see how are two love sick puppy are doing?"

Tai and Mindy grinned as they peek their eyes to hear and see the conversation between Matt and Sofie.

"I never mention her because it wasn't too soon that we got together"

Matt said sheepishly scratching the back of his head nervously. Sofie wanted to question but decided to hold her tongue and just smiled.

"We'll I'm glad you found that special person"

"Thanks. When is the event?"

"This Saturday and hey nosey!"

She yelled caused Tai and Mindy to fall from being caught. Tai helped Mindy up.

"Yeah?"

She asked.

"We need to go shopping"

Sofie said with a smile.

*Hall of Music*

"Wow"

Tai said breathless. He was wearing a tux with a orange tie, Matt was wearing the same thing except his tie was royal blue.

"Amazing"

Matt said amazed.

"Beautiful"

Sora said, she had her arms wrapped around Matt's arm. Sofie and Mindy smiled at each other.

"This place is off the hook"

Matt's band we're also giving the compliments.

"Come on, I want you guys to meet someone"

Sofie said as she lead them to a table where a group of adults we're sitting.

"This is Michael Kepple, our producer"

She said. Michael stood up and shook hands Matt, Matt was overwhelmed.

"Hi... I'm such a big fan of your work"

"Well then, I hope you will impress me tonight"

He said coldly as he turn his attention away. Sofie smiled sheepishly at Matt.

"Don't worry once you start to work for him, he soften up"

The group went and sat down together at a round table.

"So what do we do?"

Asked one of the band members.

"Bands will take turn to sing their song and try to impress all the producers that are here and if you're good then they'll get in contact with you"

They looked up on stage to see a band already up their singing.

"It's a full house tonight"

Tai commented.

"Of course people from all over the world goes to these events"

Mindy said as she took a sip of her drink.

"How come we never heard about it?"

Matt asked.

"Because you need to put yourself out there"

Sofie said.

"Aren't the gigs helping?"

Sora asked. Matt rolled his eyes.

"Sora I had a couple of gigs already and it's always half empty"

Everyone on the table remained quiet.

"But don't worry Matt, I can help you out while I'm here"

Sofie said with a smile in reassurance. Matt smiled in return.

"Wait so what does that mean?"

One of the band members asked.

"It's means Sofie is just going to give us some pointers and be joining us in rehearsal"

He said with a grin. As the music played people went down to the dance floor having the time of their life.

"Let's go dance?"

Mindy asked happily to Tai, Tai was about to refuse but Sofie gently nudge him to go on. She leaned closer to Tai's ear.

"Just dance with her, Derek never let's her go dancing at least give her this"

She said lowly. Tai nodded and grabbed Mindy's hand.

"Let's go"

He said in joy.

"Hey wait for me!"

Sofie shouted.

"Us too!!"

The band members got up to join them. Together they went to the dance floor where everyone was dancing, leaving Matt and Sora at the table. Sora wanted to join as well but Matt refused. They were bouncing their heads to the rythm of the music. Pretty soon it was Matt's band turn to go up.
