As time went on, Matt finally came to a realization that Sofie was just so much more than Sora. He started to spend more time with Sofie but everytime when he gets a chance  Sora would always call to check up on him, since she knew  Sofie was back in town. Matt let out a sigh as he was once again in the studio with his band and Sofie without Sora. Although Matt did realize that Sofie doesn't spend that long hanging out with him only fifteen minutes the most. They were practicing once again for another gig.

Sofie sang as she placed the microphone on the stand.

"Beautiful as ever"

The drummer said as he stood up. Sofie smiled with a slight blush as the guys compliment her. As the guys left, Matt asked Sofie for to stay for a few minutes so they go over a special song to surprise the fans. Matt sat on the couch while Sofie sat on the high chair.

"Why don't you come sit next to me?"

Matt asked. Sofie looked to Matt hesitantly.

"I don't think so"

"For that way we can both get comfortable"

Sofie let out a sigh as she nodded. She got up and sat beside him with the papers in her hand.

"Here I go"

She said. Matt nodded.

Sofie stopped in the middle of the song as she felt Matt placed a hand on top of her thigh. She sadly put the papers down and stood up.

"I think I should go"

She said.

"No wait"

Matt said as he quickly got up and got in front of her and pulled her into a hug. Sofie raised an eyebrow.

"Matt? What are you..."

Sofie's lips were silenced as Matt placed his lips over hers. Matt licked her lips begging for entrance and Sofie let him in without any hesitation. He let out a moan as his tongue roam around the inside of her mouth. Sofie closed her eyes as she wanted to deepen the kiss but reality hit her as she pulled away.

"Matt, no"

Matt looked to her in confusion and hurt can be seen in his eyes.

"Why?"

He asked lowly.

"It's going to happen all over again. What are you doing?"

Matt linked his hand with hers as he stared into her eyes.

"Sofie I've been thinking and I made a terrible mistake"

"About what?"

She asked lowly.

"Of ever being with Sora. The last few weeks we been spending time together since you got back are the best days that I have ever been. When I'm with you it makes me happy, that I could be free from trying to ever be perfect and I notice those things because when I'm with Sora, I feel trap like I couldn't breathe"

He said honestly with tears threatening to fall. Sofie felt her heart soar at those words.

"You honestly feel like this Matt?"

"Of course I do, I want to give us a chance"

Sofie was about to respond with a smile but remember what Sora had told her and sadly pulled her hands away and shook her head.

"I'm sorry but I don't"

Matt felt his heart broke at those simple words.

"Why?"

"Because.....because that girl that used to be in love with you stayed in America. This is the new me"

She said trying to keep her head held high but let out a sigh as she shook her head.

"Oh who am I kidding I didn't even mean that"

"What?"

Matt asked confused. Sofie sadly looked to him.

"Sora warned about staying away from you because if not then she will spread rumors to the media that I been sleeping around and then I will be officially known as the celebrity slut. Even if wanted to be with you, I can't. I just can't, I'm sorry"

She said as she walked away sadly as she left the studio. Matt stood standing in shock at what he heard. He rolled his hand into a fist as he let out a growl.

'Don't worry Sofie, I will make sure Sora will never hurt you'

He thought as he took out his cellphone and called Sora.

"Hey babe"

"Sora we need to talk"

He demanded.

"Sure hun, let's say at my place?"

"Fine"

He stated as he hanged up and grabbed his guitar case and left the studio.
