Tai let out a sigh as he stretched out his arms placing them behind his head.

"So how much longer Matt?"

Tai said in a bored tone. Matt grinned.

"If you were that bored then you didn't have to come"

"And what miss the chance to see your pen pal, not a chance"

"Why do you care on seeing her?"

He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Because I want to compare her with Sora to see who is prettier. Speaking of Sora I thought she would be here with you, since after all you are going to meet a girl"

"Just a friend, Tai and plus Sora trust me, she was busy running part time with her mother in the flower shop"

Matt said with no concern. Just then a speaker on the intercom came on.

"Now arriving from Los Angeles!"

A lady spoke.

"That's her plane"

Matt said excitedly. Tai smirk at him.

"For a person who is just going to meet a friend, you seem very excited"

Matt glared at him and nudge him causing Tai to laugh.

"We been sending letters to each other since kindergarten when the teacher assign us to write to a pen pal and we stayed in contact ever since"

"Okay okay"

He said raising both his hands in surrender.

"Is she coming alone?"

He asked. Matt shook his head.

"No, in her last letter she told me that she is bringing along a friend who will be doing some modeling here in Japan"

"Wow really?"

Tai said impressed. Matt smirk at the look.

"Don't get any ideas, Sofie told me that Mindy has a boyfriend"

Matt said as he looked to the crowd of paparazzi and smiled.

"There they are"

Tai was surprised of all the cameras flashing and shouting.

"Woah, they're famous?"

Tai asked in shock. Matt smirk.

"Indeed they are"

Matt and Tai walked towards the crowd.

"You guys are seriously blocking our way"

Said a firm female voice

"We'll take pictures at another time, but please we really just want to rest"

Said another female voice.

"Where the hell are the escorts?!"

Shouted a guy. Matt looked to Tai.

"That's our cue"

He said as they both shoved their way through the crowd.

"Sofie! Over here!!"

Matt yelled. The girl name Sofie turned around and gasp in surprise and ran towards Matt.

"We'll greet later but for now let's run for it. Hey watch the hair!"

Tai shouted as he was being shoved. The five teenagers ran together away from the paparazzi. Sofie took out her cellphone and dailed a number.

"Now is not the time for a social call Sofie!"

Mindy shouted. Sofie smiled.

"I'm calling for a ride"

She said as she pressed her phone to her ear.

"Where are you?...uh huh, okay. Alright you guys just a block away."

They ran fast as they could and saw a van waiting for them.

"Get in!"

Sofie shouted as they ran inside the van. The group panted and began to laugh.

"Man, that was one heck of a workout"

Tai said with a laugh once he caught his breathe. Sofie let out a sigh.

"Okay now let's start over"

She said as she happily hugged Matt.

"It's so great to see you Matt, finally in person"

Matt smiled as he returned the hug.

"It's great to finally meet you too, Sofie. Oh this is my friend Tai"

He said signaling to Tai. Tai smiled as he shook hands.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. Matt told me so much about you"

He said as he shook hands with Sofie, Mindy and Derek. Sofie smiled.

"We'll I'm Sofie and this is my best friend Mindy and her boyfriend Derek"

Mindy and Derek shook hands with Matt and Tai. Tai smiled as he tried not to make it obvious that he was staring at Mindy but apparently her boyfriend notice because he simply glares at him and wrap his arm around her almost possessive. Matt couldn't keep his eyes off Sofie and she seem to notice since there was a light blush on her face. Matt cleared up his throat.

"So I have already spoken to my Dad and...."

"You still live with your Dad, how pathetic"

Derek said with a smug, Mindy nervously patted his chest.

"Don't mind him continue"

Sofie said with a smile.

"Like I said my Dad already know about you guys staying with us for a while until you get your things together and he wouldn't mind. Oh and I almost forgot, along the way you can meet the others"

"Sounds wonderful"

Sofie said kindly. As Matt and Sofie were having their own conversation, Tai looked to Mindy who was digging through her purse and accidentally dropped something. Tai kindly picked it up and gasp as he saw it was a digivice. Mindy notice the look and smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry about that"

She said.

"You're a digidestined"

He said quietly. Mindy quickly placed a finger against her lip.

"Not so loud. Sofie is also a digidestined, but it's just that Derek doesn't believe that it's real"

Tai frown and look to Derek who was busy looking at his phone. After a while of driving, the driver came to a stop.

"Okay here we are"

Matt said as helped Sofie grab her suitcase.

"It's okay you don't have to do that"

"I insist"

He said with a smile. Tai looked to Mindy who looked like she was struggling carrying her luggage and her boyfriend's luggage who was rushing her to hurry up. Tai walked up to the struggling girl.

"Here let me help"

"Um no thank you, I can manage"

She said as she waddle her way behind her boyfriend. Tai glared at the couple. Sofie gently nudge him.

"Don't worry about her, she can manage"

"But the guy seems like a total jerk"

"That's because he is"

"Then why is she still with him?"

He asked as they slowly walked the flight of stairs.

"Mindy just doesn't want to be alone, I tried talking about it to her but she just bites my head off"

Tai frown in thought.
