In which a common harm made a confession.

(Y/N) POV
"And the last, and tenth member of TWICE is... (Y/N). Congratulations," JYP announced.

I stood there shocked. Did I really deserve? Will I fit in the group?

My thoughts were interrupted by Mina, who was the first to give me a bear hug. Everyone else came over to join eventually. I made it. I made my debut.

I remember our first win with Cheer Up, Mina cried immediately. Despite me being a distance away from her, I made my way towards her and hugged her.

When we went to the dress room, I laughed at Mina for crying so much.

Remember TWICE T.V? When we had to write letters to each other, Mina wrote one to me, and I wrote one to her. She was so close to crying, but held her tears back. I, on the other hand, teared up, just a little. Okay, I sobbed. Just a little.

What I'm trying to say is, Mina and I are close. Me being younger than her, but still older than Dahyun. We were our own thing, you could say. Other ships? Naw, Mina and I. We reign.

We entered the dorms after coming back from our What Is Love? promotions. I went to my bed and just laid there. Mina's head poked in a few minutes later, her eyes finding me.

She calmly walked over to my bed, standing next to it. Mina suddenly raised her arms up, and she just fell. oN TOP OF ME.

"hUK! Mina!"

Mina only laughed after I had yelled her name. I let her stay on my stomach for a few more minutes before pushing her off of me while I got off my bed.

She looked up at me while laying on my bed and asked, "Where are you going?"

"I'm gonna pop in the convenience store nearby. Get some food or something."

"Alright. I'm gonna stay here, but hurry up and come back soon," Mina told me.

"Yes ma'am," I responded.

I looked in my closet and took out a pair of shorts and a plain t-shirt. Walking towards the front door, I slipped on a pair of shoes and headed out. I made my way towards the store and got a few drinks and snacks. On my way back, I heard screaming.

"Someone! Anyone! Please help me!"

I couldn't ignore it. I dropped my bag and headed to where the noise was coming from. The person's yelling was coming towards an alleyway. Call me dumb, but I would do anything to save another person from harm.

I looked in the alleyway. No one was there, but I knew that someone was yelling from here. Footsteps from behind me approached and I tried looking back, but a strong arm held me head in place and put a cloth over me. I tried not to breathe, but failed and passed out.

3rd POV

Mina lied in (Y/N)'s room, waiting. At this point, she had waited for her fellow member for an hour when it should've taken only 20 minutes.

"What's taking so long?"

Mina couldn't take it anymore and attempted to call you.

The ringing continued before you denied the phone call.

Her heart started racing. You always answered the phone when she called. Something was wrong and she wasn't willing to wait.

"Guys! I think (Y/N) is in trouble! She's not answering her phone," Mina yelled, tears building up.

"What? Where did she go?"

"She said she would go to the convenience store about an hour ago! She should've been back a while ago," Mina said as her voice slowly quieted down.

Sana rushed to hug Mina who was already shaking and crying. All the members knew how much (Y/N) meant to Mina. She was practically her everything.

Mina was happy? She would smile and hug (Y/N).
Mina was sad? (Y/N) would know and hug her.
Mina was mad? (Y/N) would be able to calm her down.
Mina was anxious? (Y/N)'s voice would be able to tame it.

"We should go there first before we do anything-"

"No! I know she's in trouble! We need help right now," Mina cut off.

Mina kept crying and yelling while Sana kept trying to calm her down, but it wasn't much help.

Eventually, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Momo went to the store to check. Like what Mina said, (Y/N) wasn't there. The trio rushed back and called the police.

"We're here to report a missing person. (L/N) (Y/N). Near (location)."

"Alright. We'll be right on it."

"Thank you."

The girls called JYP as well. Although he was panicked, he remained as calm as he could and hired lawyers and investigators.

(Y/N) POV

I slowly regained consciousness and my vision was blurry. Although I still had my contacts in, they weren't much help.

I moved my head around, trying to take in my surroundings. Even if my vision was blurry, I could make out a door, light on the other side while the room I was in was dully lit.

My observing was interrupted though, as the door slammed open, a large male figure appearing. I assumed that he was my kidnapper.

"What... What do you want from me," I managed to question.

"You know, I get jealous. Whenever you get close to my Mina, man, do I just want to smash your skull open," he explained.

I froze. This wasn't a joke. I mean, I knew it wasn't one earlier, but this man right in front of me wanted to hurt me.

"I'll state this clearly. You wouldn't be here if you weren't so close to Mina, alright? But you just so happened to take her from me. I don't like that. It made me mad and now, it's time for your punishment."

I didn't say anything. I couldn't say anything. I wanted this to be one, sick joke, but it wasn't.

"Now you don't talk, huh?"

I didn't answer him. I didn't want to.

He raised his hand and it made contact with my face. I hissed in pain. He hit me once more.

"Get used to it. It's just the beginning."

My eyes widened. His foot hit my arm and face.

"Hurts, huh? Does it hurt? Does it? Everytime I see you with Mina, that's how I feel. If," he paused before hitting me.

"You." One more hit.

"Left." Another.

"Mina." One more.

"Alone." Again.

"This wouldn't have happened." One last time.

He dragged the chair I was tied to and threw it. He released the ropes, knowing that I couldn't move. He walked away and slammed the door, remembering to lock it.

"Mina," I muttered and cried.

Once more, I passed out. This time, from the pain.

3rd POV

"We were able to track (Y/N) down. Luckily, the perpetrator hasn't destroyed her phone or turned it off."

Everyone was relieved, even if it wasn't over yet. At least they knew where you were.

"We will be rushing to the area to check. Everyone else please head back home. This is our job now."

Mina stood still, refusing to move. Tzuyu tried convincing her, but she remained. All the members tried, but it was no use.

"Please. Let me stay. If we find (Y/N), she will be in a panicked state. I'm the only one who can calm her down. Please. Just this once," Mina begged.

The police gave up and allowed Mina to join in. However, she was to stay in safety of the car until everything was clear.

The rest of the members headed home while Mina got in. The cars rushed to the area and arrived, breaking in.

There was a man, standing there, a few doors behind him.

"Hello. We have a few questions for you regarding a missing person," one officer informed.

"Ah. I see," the man responded monotonously.

"What is your name? How old are you," the police started off.

"Well, my name is Henry Lee. I am 31 years old," Henry Lee stated.

"I see. Can we search your house? We have a few hunches."

"No! I mean, no, you may not. Where is your form that allows this?"

The police restrained Henry.

"It is right here. No was not an option."

The officers search each room, spreading out to cover more ground as Henry watched. Eventually, they found (Y/N), bruised and hurt.

(Y/N) POV

I heard them. The officers. It was him. He took me. Please help me.

The door opened and they found me. They asked if I could stand up, but everything just hurt too much.

The officers gently carried me.

"We're taking you to the hospital," one informed me.

I shook my head.

"Is Mina here? Take me to her if she is. Please," I begged.

They sighed and lifted me to the car. My eyes were blurry, but I could tell that through the window, Mina was waiting.

The car door slammed open and she ran towards me, crying. She hugged me and it hurt, but I ignored it.

I heard talking coming from the building and looked over the best I could.

"Joseph Park has been arrested. He has gone under the name of Henry Lee. He has kidnapped and harmed (L/N) (Y/N)."

Joseph Park was about to get into the police car before he met eyes with Mina. She looked at him with pure disgust and his dreams were quickly shattered.

Mina looked back at me. Even if I was bruised and swollen, her eyes looked at me as if I was the only one for her.

"I love you so much. You have no clue how scared I was," Mina told me as she teared up again.

She probably means that she loves me as a friend... No time to think about that right now though.

"I'm sorry, Mina," I said as I hugged her back with my weak body.

Her head rested on my shoulder and mine rested on hers. She lifted her head up and I did too.

"I love you. I love you so much and you have no clue. I need you in my life and you have no clue. I love you," Mina confessed.

"I love you too," I told her as I looked in her eyes.

Her eyes were looking at my lips though. Was she going to-
