3rd POV

"All right guys! We have a new student so please welcome her!"

Everyone got quiet and focused their eyes on the tall beauty that entered.

"My name is Chou Tzuyu. Nice to meet you all," she said rather blandly.

Some clapped. Some yelled. Some were just staring at the beauty. (Y/N) wasn't paying attention. (He/She) would rather prefer reading a book or look out the window.

"Take a seat anywhere there is an empty seat, Tzuyu," the teacher said.

(Y/N) closed (his/her) and heard footsteps. There stood the new student. She stared before asking, "Can I sit here?"

(Y/N) simply nodded and took their backpack off the seat. Tzuyu put her things down and everything got settled.

"Can anyone translate this sentence," the teacher asked.

Few raised their hands and Tzuyu was one of them.

"Tzuyu. First read the original and then translate it please."

"원숭이도 나무에서 떨어 진다. Even monkeys fall off of trees."

"Good! Now can anyone tell me what that means?"

Nobody raised their hand. (Y/N) sighed and raised (his/her's).

"It means that we all make mistakes."

"Good job, (Y/N)!"

The lecture was soon over and everyone was packing up to leave.

"Hey Tzuyu?"

"Hm?"

"Are you gonna join any clubs? We have a lot in this school."

"I don't think so."

"Good luck with that. With your visuals, you'll get scouted by a lot of clubs."

(Y/N) got up and started walking out the door.

"Wai-"

"Is that the new student?"

"Tzuyu! You wanna join the art club?"

"No! Join the dance club!"

"Stop! She wants to join the model club obviously!"

They all yelled, competing for Tzuyu's attention.

Tzuyu tried getting through the door while apologizing.

"Sorry... I'm not interested in any clubs this year."

The casters left one by one... Besides one.

"I know you won't join but... Would you like to join the photography club?"

"No thank you. I appreciate the offer though."

"I see... Have a good day."

Tzuyu simply nodded and tried to make her way home. She heard catcalls and tried ignoring them but they took it too far.

"Can you please stop?"

"Give me a good reason, baby," the leader said.

"Your mom didn't wait 9 months to push a disappointment out. So do you mind?"

"You little-"

"Funny to say cause I'm on the taller side."

"This brat!" The male started walking towards her with a piercing glare.

His group started surrounding Tzuyu.

"Now you see what happens when you-"

Before he could finish his sentence, a foot was sent to his face.

"Boss," the rest of his lackies called out.

He was completely knocked out. While they were caring him, (Y/N) took Tzuyu's hand and calmly left with her.

"You okay?"

"Yes. Thank you."

"Where's your house? I'll take you home. It's not safe from what I can tell now."

"Thank you. Just follow me."

The two arrived at Tzuyu's house and she went inside before looking out once more. (Y/N) waving a farewell while starting to jog.

"I owe (him/her)," Tzuyu whispered, talking to herself.

Day after day, club leaders would always ask Tzuyu to join their club. With each passing week, there would be less people. However, there was always one club that had a different person scouting each time.

"Would you like to join the photography club?"

And her normal reply would always be,

"No thank you."

Today, the scouter was (Y/N).

"Would you like to join the photography club?"

(Y/N) was told countless times about their failed efforts.

"Would joining the club make up for it?"

"Hm? Make up for what?"

"The time you saved me."

"I'm not forcing you. Your choice."

"Thanks... I'll think about it."

For the first time, the photography club got a different response.

The next day, (Y/N) asked Tzuyu something.

"Hey Tzuyu?"

"Hm?"

"Can I take a picture of you?"

"Why?"

"The club leader said that we had to take a picture of something beautiful," (Y/N) said cooly.

Tzuyu blushed.

"You think I'm beautiful?"

(Y/N) nodded.

"So may I?"

"Of course."

While taking pictures, the two were silent. Once they finished, they looked at the pictures together.

"Hey Tzuyu?"

"Hm?"

"I like you."

"..."

"..."

"I like you too."
