Chapter 8

Hoseok and Yoongi were sitting on the small couch in the living room in the early morning of a Monday. Yoongi sat on Hoseok's lap, head placed against the younger's. Hoseok let his hand tickle under the older boy's shirt, feeling his skin. Yoongi let out a soft breath against Hoseok's shoulder and then turned to look at him. Their eyes met. Yoongi reached closer to enclasp their lips together, the mingle of minty breath roaming between their lips which only straw a few inches apart. Hoseok leaned forward too, to merge their lips into a swimming flurry of innocent love. Into a raising flame of-

"AAAAAAAAAH!"

Hoseok and Yoongi pulled apart. "What the fuck was that," Yoongi muttered.

Jimin came running into the living room, his hair messed up, eyes wide, wearing a sweater and jeans from the night before. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH." Jimin continued.

"What is it?" Hoseok asked, annoyed that the boy was screaming so early in the morning.

"I fucking," Jimin ran closer to them. "Got so fucking drunk last night. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Guys. Guys. Oh my god."

"It's okay Jimin. Breathe. Relax. Tell us what happened, and then tell us where the body is. We'll hide it. The police will never find out what-"

"What?? Yoongi, no, I didn't murder anyone." Jimin cried. "Jungkook and I fucked."

"You what?!" Yoongi shouted, and Jimin put his hands against his face, groaning loudly.

"Oh my god. I got so drunk because-because I was upset. And-and he got drunk too. We were just talking about, like, how life sucks and stuff. He said something about me being short and I tried to fight him and-and then his dick just slipped in me! I don't even know how it happened, and-"

There was a bit of a silence in which Jimin looked at them, after calming down. "Guys. Please don't tell anyone. I-I don't wanna make it a big deal. Jungkook's still sleeping. Please don't tell Jin and Namj-"

Jin and Namjoon walked into the living room. "What's up, why is Jimin screaming?"

"Jimin and Jungkook had SEX!" Hoseok shouted. Jimin hit him on the head.

"What?" Jin asked, Jimin turned around to face him and Namjoon. Both of them were frowning, tensed. "Why... why did you-"

"I was drunk." Jimin bit his plump bottom lip. "We-we were just hanging out, and-" Jimin began, and Namjoon walked closer to him. "I was in a bad mood. So was he. W-we just-"

Namjoon grabbed Jimin's shoulder. "Did he hurt you?"

Jimin looked a little taken aback. "Huh?" He voiced, small. "No. No, he didn't do that. We were both drunk."

"That's... good. That's good. Don't- don't be so reckless when you're drunk, Jimin." Namjoon said, and Jimin nodded, but Jin bit the inside of his cheek, standing beside Namjoon.

"Guess we'll have to keep a closer look at you when you're drinking, hm?" Jin said, and a faint blush reached Jimin's cheeks. Jimin rose up to speak, but Jin snickered dryly and turned around to walk out of the living room. Namjoon looked at where he went off to and sighed to himself.

"Is he mad?" Jimin asked.

"No," Namjoon said gently. "Don't worry about it. We have our sociology lecture in an hour, by the way. You should go take a shower." Namjoon said, ruffling his hair.

Jimin nodded and walked out of the living room.

*

Taehyung was 6 years old when he first broke his leg.

It was a clean break. He was running with his sister and then tripped over a rock and rolled off a cliff until he hit his leg first to a big rock and broke his leg. He'd become a ball of dirt and grass and his sister cried and helped him.

Taehyung remembers the feeling till now. The pain after the break. The tears in his car ride to the hospital. The burning of his limbs and how little he was and how much anguish he felt. The sickly lemon taste of the lollipop the doctor gave him afterwards. It all stuck with Taehyung.

What does that have to do with what's going on? Nothing. There was no correlation. It's just an anecdote with no meaning other than Taehyung was a stupid child.

Taehyung hated feeling stupid.

There's one thing in failure. Failure is good. It helps you improve. But feeling stupid is different. Feeling like you got played like a fiddle is different. Feeling like you're overthinking everything is different. Taehyung doesn't mind failure, but he hated messing up. The difference is in the result. One helps you improve, the other just ruins your day.

Going back to the topic. Right. Jimin and Jungkook had sex.

Now that shouldn't be pissing Taehyung off as much as it did. What was he angry about? He was angry because Jungkook used Taehyung to get into the frat house and then sneaked his way into getting a bedroom with Jimin and then they had sex. Jungkook was horrible and terrible and an asshole.

Or maybe Taehyung was overthinking it.

Maybe he should take Jungkook's advice. Stop treating this like psychology homework, like he treats every other thing that happens.

"There are rules to this kind of stuff," Taehyung said later to Jimin as they stood in the middle of the kitchen. "You can't sleep with other members of the frat without discussing shit first. It can ruin the balance and harmony."

"Balance and harmony..." Jimin said. "Right. Sorry, Tae."

"It's fine," Taehyung said, and then smiled. "I'm not mad at you Jiminie. Where's Jungkook anyway?"

"He said he had maths class and had to run," Jimin said. Taehyung nodded. Maths class. Jungkook did maths. Right.

He ran from the house to avoid his problems because he puts on a front of confidence, but in reality hides behind a mask of insecurity- NO! Stop, Taehyung.

This isn't college. This isn't class. This is real life. Stop therapizing for one second.

Taehyung will talk to Jungkook when he comes back. They will be calm and collected and talk this out. Whatever there was to talk out.

Taehyung attended the 2 lectures he had that day (boring and boring) and then came back to the frat house. He stepped over Jackson's body (he was sleeping on the floor or something) and walked to the kitchen to take out an apple.

Jungkook was there. Taehyung stilled. The boy was in his all-black attire, emotionless and motionless as usual. "Hey. I wanted to talk to you." Taehyung said, walking up to him.

"Okay," Jungkook said, and Taehyung noticed he had a packet of gummy bears in his hands. "Is this about the Jimin thing?"

"Yes."

"I had sex with him." Pause. "We were drunk." Pause, "That's all."

"Well." Taehyung took a deep breath. "Um. Okay. Well, there's rules to this sort of thing. To make sure the frat house runs smoothly, I guess. Like, you can't just sleep with anyone without discussing things through just to avoid arguments and-"

"It's not a big deal. It just happened once. It's not gonna happen again." Jungkook said, cutting him off. Taehyung looked at the boy. "He's not my type anyway." Jungkook said, walking away.

"What's your type?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook stopped walking.

There was a small pause. Jungkook turned faintly to look at the other, mint haired boy, his eyes growing a little bigger, body tensing. Taehyung waited for a response, and then Jungkook breathed out.

"Tall." Jungkook began, turning around to face Taehyung. "Independent." Jungkook continued, walking closer to him. "Strong." Jungkook licked his lips. Taehyung gulped. What was going on.

"A little mean," Jungkook said softly. "A little rough. Likes the outdoors. Lives alone." Jungkook whispered, looking Taehyung in the eyes. "Big." Jungkook voiced into Taehyung's ear. "Would save a princess from a burning castle," Jungkook added. Taehyung froze. "Would befriend a donkey. Is green. Shrek. I'm describing Shrek. My type is Shr-"

"I hate you," Taehyung whispered, but burst into giggles. Jungkook snickered lightly, turning around to walk away.

"Kook," Taehyung said, walking after him. "Hey. Listen. I'm not mad about you sleeping with Jimin, but-"

"Why would you be mad?" Jungkook asked, raising his eyebrow. "How does it involve you in any way?"

"Oh. Well, it doesn't, but- like, Jimin's my friend." Taehyung said quickly.

"That's the reason, Kim?" Jungkook asked, and then scoffed. "At least be honest."

"Honest about what?" Taehyung asked as Jungkook walked into his room. Jungkook looked away.

"You have a crush on me," Jungkook said, and then raked his hand through his hair, turning to eye Taehyung. "It's kinda obvious."

Taehyung almost smiled a little, but instead, leaned against the doorway. "Excuse me?" He spluttered. "You think I have a crush on you?"

"Mhm, That's why you won't get off my dick." Jungkook winked, and Taehyung felt the color drain out of his face, stood up a little straighter, annoyed.

"Why the fuck are you still pissed? Look, Jeon, we don't have to be all buddy-buddy, but the least we can do is be friends. Or is that too hard for Mr. Asshole?" Taehyung asked, arms folded. Jungkook took his phone out, checking his texts.

"I don't want to be friends," Jungkook said. "Not with you."

"Why-" Taehyung began, genuinely confused, eyes growing bigger. "Why not?" Taehyung asked, resembling a kicked puppy.

Jungkook's eyes were dark. They always were. Taehyung couldn't tell what he was thinking, ever. "You only want to befriend others to make yourself look good."

"You think you know me, Jeon?" Taehyung asked.

"I know you wished you were Jimin last night," Jungkook mumbled.

"Jimin said your dick was small." Taehyung snapped and then walked towards him. "And unless Jimin beat the fucking shit out of you, then nah, I don't wish I were him."

"So fucking benevolent, Taehyung. But the moment someone doesn't wanna be friends with you, you become hostile as fuck. What's that for?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung stilled, taking a deep breath. "Am I psychoanalyzing your every move? Damn, must suck, huh?"

"I never fucking psychanalyzed you, Jungkook." Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, not understanding. "Why the fuck are you so upset?"

"You said it yourself last night. I don't have any friends. So stop trying to be mine and get out of my room." Jungkook growled, walking past Taehyung to kick the door open for the older to walk out.

Taehyung didn't move, instead, let his shoulders rise and drop. "Are you seriously mad because I said that? I was drunk Jungkook-"

"You're obsessed with me."

"You think high fucking mighty of yourself, then," Taehyung said, walking past him to indeed leave his room. "Sorry for trying."

Jungkook slammed the door shut and stayed inside for the rest of the day.

*

"Okay, why the hell were you guys even fighting? Am I the only one that doesn't understand anything that's going on? You guys were fine, like, a day ago. Why the hell are you suddenly at each other's throats?" Namjoon asked.

"I don't know. I guess my friendly tendency came across as invasive and psychoanalyzing to him." Taehyung said, sitting on the floor with his head against Jimin's knee. Jimin pet his head.

"It's okay, Taehyung. It'll be fine. Jungkook's just mad about the thing you said when you were drunk. It'll solve itself." Jimin said, consoled.

"Please tell me he has a small dick." Taehyung begged.

"No, he has a nice dick. Not the biggest, but it's good. Fun. Fits." Jimin hummed.

"Okay, well, I told him that you said he had a small dick and called him little peanut dick boy."

"You did WHAT???" Jimin cried.

Jungkook walked into the living room that night. They had a party in half an hour. Maybe they had too many parties, but who cares. Taehyung was wearing a simple pink t-shirt, and ripped jeans, while Jungkook was wearing a grey t-shirt and black jeans.

"Taehyung has a huge dick," Yoongi said dryly, already a little drunk (because it's fun that way). Hoseok hit him on the head, and Yoongi covered his head and cried. "Ow! What! I'm telling the truth. I saw it the other day."

"When???" Taehyung asked, petrified. Yoongi winked at him, and Taehyung didn't know how to take it.

"Namjoon. Can I talk to you?" Jungkook asked. Namjoon looked at him with confusion for a few seconds, because the freshman had never asked to talk (nor actively tried to make conversation) to him ever. But Namjoon's nice like people are and he nodded, getting up and following him out.

"Taehyung. I know how to fix your problem with Jungkook." Jin said, and then took a deep, slow sip of his apple juice or whatever he was drinking.

"Yes. Fight till one dies." Yoongi proposed.

"No. Have sex," Jin said, and Taehyung instantly frowned.

"How about they fight and have sex simultaneously?" Hoseok suggested.

"What???? No. What??? Why would you even say that, I don't understand- what?????" Taehyung's sentences didn't make sense. "What??"

"Listen. You guys clearly have a lot of sexual tension. This whole fight is stupid and you both want to fuck each other. Do it." Jin said, and then took another sip of his apple juice. "It'll relieve you of tension."

"No..." Taehyung said. "No. No, that's not what's going on. Sexual tension?? I don't even know what it is." Taehyung said really fast, and then got up and ran out of the living room.

Taehyung took a deep breath and then heard voices from the kitchen. Now eavesdropping is bad and invasive and weird, but Taehyung was going to do it. He stood by the wall by the door leading to the kitchen, hearing the conversation.

"Are you sure..." Namjoon trailed. "It'll be really good if you could hold on for one more year, Jungkook."

"No one likes me here. I might as well leave." Jungkook stated, and Taehyung's shoulders tensed. Did he want to leave the frat?

"Who said that? We all like you, Jungkook. Jimin doesn't think your dick is small." Namjoon consoled.

"Taehyung hates me. He has all right to. He's... he's too much. All over the place and too giddy all the time. I'm not. We'll clash and keep fighting and I'll ruin the frat for all of you." Jungkook voiced, a little softer than usual so Taehyung couldn't hear it.

He's too much. What did that mean? Taehyung was just nice. Why was he too much?

Taehyung doesn't hate you. He doesn't hate anyone."

"Please, Namjoon. He doesn't like me. He just wants to be friends with me because it's another project for him. Friendships don't matter to him. It's just a fun activity to see how many people he can charm. It's weird and I've seen it before with people." Jungkook said, and the scoff that followed made Taehyung tense.

Taehyung left before hearing more.

The party began half an hour later as denoted. Loud rap music from some new artist filled the room and everyone jumped up and down to dance. It was just a fun party, no one was being courageous or crazy.

"Fun activity?????" Taehyung said to Namjoon, who was sighing. "I make friends because I want friends. I want FRIENDS and he thinks I'm the worst and I'm faking it. I only want friends and now I'm the worst."

"Taehyung you're drunk," Namjoon said. Taehyung shook his head. "No m'not." Taehyung said, and then downed the bottle of bear down his throat. "This sucks, I need something stronger."

"Like, tequila?"

"Like cocaine."

"Taehyung no." Namjoon begged, but Taehyung grabbed a filled bottle of beer with the golden-brown liquid simmering on the top of the rim. He walked into the living room, angry.

Angry because all he wants to do is be friends with Jungkook and he's never tried this hard to befriend someone. If people seem disinterested he gives up. If people are mean he backs off. If people tell him 'I don't want to be friends with you' he stops. But why the fuck was it so hard for him to stay away from Jungkook??

Jungkook thought Taehyung was something he wasn't. Taehyung wanted to prove that. He looked around, trying to find Jungkook.

Jungkook was talking to Samantha. What the fuck. He looked kind of awkward and stand-offish, while Samantha was talking to him animatedly with a smile. Samantha put her hand on his arm, squeezing it lightly, giggling afterwards. Jungkook gave her a slightly confused look.

Taehyung was a little drunk. Samantha was his hook up partner and oh god now he was walking towards Jungkook angrily. Taehyung pushed him.

"I'm too much?" Taehyung asked, loud over the blaring music. The dim lighting made Jungkook look a bit fuzzy. "You wanna see too much, Jeon?"

"What?" Jungkook asked, confused. Before he could know what was going on, Taehyung brought the beer bottle up and poured all of the beer right on Jungkook's head.

Everyone at the party froze. Samantha gasped and moved away. Jungkook was dripping wet now, beer still pouring on him because Taehyung had the glass bottle lifted upside down atop his head.

It went silent all aroung, and finally, the beer stopped drenching Jungkook, and Taehyung chucked the glass bottle away.

"That's too fucking much," Taehyung whispered.

Jungkook stood there for a few seconds, not knowing how to react. Taehyung turned around to walk away, seeing some people looking at them with widened eyes. He rolled his eyes, but then gasped aloud when he felt something wet pouring down his head.

Taehyung turned around. Jungkook chucked a can full of beer right onto Taehyung's face, and Taehyung stumbled back, closing his eyes.

"Asshole," Jungkook groused.

Taehyung opened his eyes, and then grabbed two beer cans lying beside him and poured them all on Jungkook, and Jungkook grabbed a whole bottle of diet soda and began throwing it on Taehyung.

"What the fuck is going on," Jimin asked, standing beside Bambam, who was snapchatting all of it.

"Bitch-!" Taehyung shouted, and then grabbed an unopened large bottle of coca cola. Taehyung shook the bottle a couple of times and then opened it and it erupted in Jungkook's face.

"A-ah-" Jungkook gasped out, and then grabbed Taehyung and tried pushing him, but then both slipped on the mixture of coca cola, beer and other drinks they'd made on the floor and fell.

Taehyung fell on his back, and before he knew it, Jungkook was pinning him down on the floor and straddled him. Taehyung looked up at him with wide eyes and then saw Jungkook push the bottle into his shirt and made his chest all sticky with coca cola.

"F-fuck- fuck you- you fucking-" Taehyung groaned, unable to move. Jungkook threw the bottle away and then looked down at Taehyung. He grabbed his wrists swiftly and pinned them above his head, holding him down, leaning down.

Both looked at each other for a few seconds, breathing heavily, their faces close, bodies pressed against each other along with sticky drinks. Taehyung looked into his eyes. They were sparkling for once.

It was silent for a little while but then they both burst into giggles. Taehyung began laughing loudly while Jungkook's eyes crinkled and he showed his teeth, laughing so hard he couldn't even speak.

They giggled so much that now, Jungkook was on the floor beside him, clutching his stomach while literally screaming because his stomach was cramping up from laughing so hard. Taehyung was slapping his hand against the floor, laughing to an extent where no sound came out of his mouth.

"Everyone left," Namjoon said. "Everyone left to the party in the other frat house because you both started spilling drinks on each other."

Taehyung and Jungkook sat up on the floor, but they looked at each other and started laughing again, sounding silly stupid and sort of high. But they weren't. They just couldn't stop laughing.

"Clean the drinks up you dumbasses," Jin said, slapping both their heads on his way upstairs.

"Oh my god, I'm gonna pass out," Taehyung said, attempting to get up. But while doing so, his feet slipped on the drinks and he fell backward, hitting his back against the floor. Jungkook burst out wheezing.

"S-stop- stop laughing-" Taehyung began, but Jungkook's laugh made him laugh as well, and now they were both just lying in a puddle of beer and crying tears while laughing.

"What-" Jungkook's giggles died down. "W-what happened."

"I don't know. I just got mad and poured beer on you." Taehyung said, voice hoarse from laughing.

Jungkook turned his head to look at Taehyung, and Taehyung did the same. There was a bit of quiet, and then Jungkook sat up, clearing his throat. Taehyung sat up as well.

Both of them got up from the floor. "I should go shower," Jungkook said, but Taehyung asked.

"No way. Come with me." Taehyung said, and Jungkook looked around and saw no one, the house was empty. He nodded and followed Taehyung out of it.

The both began walking down the campus, shivering a bit to the air hitting their damp clothes. Jungkook walked beside Taehyung. "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere," Taehyung said, and they walked towards the sports building of the college. They both walked towards the locked gates, and Taehyung grunted when he saw the lock on it.

"Damn it," Taehyung mumbled, but then Jungkook took out some wire from his pocket. "I have a lockpicker."

"Why the fuck do you have a lockpicker with you?"

"You never know when it could come in handy," Jungkook said, and Taehyung shook his head with a sigh. Jungkook pushed open the doors and both of them entered the room. It was an indoor swimming pool.

"Oh." Jungkook looked around. "Never been here before. Are you sure this is allowed?"

"No, it's not. But no one will find out." Taehyung said swiftly and then took his shirt off.

"What're you doing?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung tsked.

"You asked a lot of questions, Kook." Taehyung smiled, and Jungkook rolled his eyes and took his shirt off. Taehyung took his shirt off as well. Just in boxers, Taehyung walked forward and then jumped into the pool.

Taehyung emerged a few seconds later, breathing heavily, hair wet. "Jump in!"

"No," Jungkook said, and Taehyung frowned. He swam towards the edge of the pool, closer to where Jungkook was standing. Taehyung noticed how Jungkook inched away. Taehyung tilted his head.

"Why not? It's warm in here, Jungkook." Taehyung promised, but Jungkook shook his head again. He looked unsure, a little nervous, which Taehyung hadn't seen before. Taehyung didn't want to push it. So he got out of the swimming pool himself, and sat down on the edge of it, feel dangling in the pool.

"At least sit down." Taehyung said, and Jungkook sat down beside him, feet in the pool as well. They were quiet, just the sound of their feet splashing the waters filling the large room.

"Will you be mad if I push you in?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook instantly retracted, moving away from him. Taehyung's eyes widened fondly upon seeing him looking scared.

"Don't, Tae. Please." Jungkook said, and Taehyung giggled.

"I won't, silly. Come here." Taehyung said, and Jungkook nodded and sat down beside him. Taehyung splashed a bit of water onto Jungkook's knee.

"Don't leave," Taehyung said softly after a bit. "Don't leave the frat. I know you like it here."

"I'm ruining it. None of you guys like me. I-" Jungkook looked away. "It's fine. I have other friends."

"No you don't."

"No I don't," Jungkook said. "But that's okay. I don't care."

"I care," Taehyung said. Jungkook looked at him slowly. "I want you to stay. It's nice having you around. When we hung out, I must've gotten the wrong impression, because I thought you wanted to be friends with me," Taehyung chuckled. "That's okay though, I tend to read situations wrong a lot. We don't have to be friends. But don't go because of me."

"I don't like being forced to open up. Everyone thinks I have a problem. That I don't know I'm so quiet and cold. I just... I just like being this way." Jungkook said. "It's not a problem."

"Of course it isn't. I think it's great." Taehyung said, and Jungkook looked at him, blinking his eyes. His eyes were so big, how did Taehyung not notice it before? "I'm not trying to change you, Jungkook. I'll be more careful with the stuff I say to you because that wasn't my intention at all."

Jungkook blinked. "I've never... met anyone like you," Jungkook said, kicking his foot up, a little bit of water flying up. "Everyone starts hating me and leaves after they get to know me."

"I haven't gotten to know you. There's so much left to uncover." Taehyung whispered teasingly, and Jungkook snickered.

Taehyung wanted to ask. Ask why they left and started hating him. Was it his own fault, or was it theirs? Did he push them away as he did to Taehyung? But right now, Taehyung didn't want to overthink. He was there with Jungkook at the moment, and that's all that mattered.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook said in a hushed voice when he saw Taehyung stand up. "I only slept with Jimin because I was mad at you. I thought you pretended to like me and... I didn't want that."

"I don't pretend," Taehyung said, and Jungkook looked up at the boy, who was tugging his shirt on now. "I wouldn't care so much if I didn't actually want to be friends with you."

"Sorry," Jungkook repeated.

"Shut up, stop apologizing. It's fine. I'm sorry as well. For being too much." Taehyung said, and Jungkook got up, grabbing his t-shirt. Jungkook put it on.

"You are too much. But it's not necessarily a bad thing." Jungkook said. "I wish I was too much."

"All too much and all too little. Half full or half empty. Who cares. The water's still in the glass." Taehyung said.

They left. They went back to the frat house, sneaking in softly to make sure they didn't wake the other boys. Both walked to the bedrooms, and Jungkook tried opening his but it was locked.

"Jimin locks it before changing. He must've forgotten." Jungkook mumbled, and Taehyug patted his lower back.

"You can sleep at mine." Taehyung said, and Jungkook followed him into his bedroom, humming in response.

They both took a shower separately. Jungkook took a shower and then changed into Taehyung's t-shirt and pajamas, lying down on one side of his bed. Taehyung returned from the shower changed, and then got into bed.

"I like to cuddle."

"That's disgusting."

"Jungkook." Taehyung pouted. "Come here. Let me spoon you."

"Just because I said I wanted to be friends didn't mean I'd let you spoon me," Jungkook said, and Taehyung gasped.

"We're friends now?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook turned around, facing him. He hummed, black hair sprawled onto his pillow.

"Best friends?"

"No."

"Best friends forever and ever?"

"Taehyung stop."

"Bestest friends till death do us part?"

"I'm taking it back," Jungkook murmured, and Taehyung laughed heartily, and then grabbed a pillow. He wrapped his arms around it, throwing his leg over the pillow, and then laying his head against his other one.

"Goodnight," Taehyung said.

Jungkook didn't respond, just closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. There was a bit of silence, which was broken. "I'll spoon you one day," Taehyung said.

"I'll knife you one day."

"So cute." Taehyung smiled. Jungkook didn't respond. "Shit. Sorry. You didn't want me calling you cute, right? Sorry."

"It's fine," Jungkook said in a small voice. "I am cute."

"Hell fuckin' yeah. Self-aware. I like it." Taehyung chuckled and closed his eyes, thinking their conversation ended. Not until he heard Jungkook speak again.

"You're cute too."

Taehyung felt taken aback by that and blushed a bit. "Gosh," Taehyung said, not knowing how else to respond.

"Gosh?" Jungkook giggled. "No one says that."

"Gosh darn. I say that now. It's my catchphrase."

"You'll lose all your friends instantly."

"I'll have you." Taehyung kicked his leg. "Mr. Grumpy pants."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. Taehyung smiled to himself. They both fell asleep.
