Five minutes to go. 

It had been two weeks since she had gotten his letter and she was still internally arguing with herself. Caleb offered his advice saying if it gave her closure, maybe it would be the best for her. If it would only bring up feelings that were buried deep inside her, maybe she shouldn’t. They had been on three dates and things were going really well and Leigh almost wanted to smack Ben for his timing. Though Caleb was insanely understanding and only wanted the best for her. 

“I’m not going. I’m not.” Leigh announced in the teachers’ lounge.

“Okay.”

“I swear it, I’m not going! Instead I’ll go visit my parents and stay with them for a while. Isn’t that a good idea?”

“No.”

“Kathy! I need you to cheer me on, not make me second guess myself.” Leigh reached over to slap Kathy upside the head.

“You’re going to forever regret not going if you don’t go. Admit it. Just go to the reception, say hi. Don’t go to the actual wedding if you don’t want to.” Kathy rationalized. 

“Fine.”

sorry for missing the update yesterday :( sometimes life happens. and also an 11pm update tonight! plus three reports due tomorrow that i haven't looked at yet. #collegelifeisgreat.
