Revenge, the sweetest morsel to the mouth that ever was cooked in hell ~ Walter Scott

Dear Dylan,

The school's basketball team had an intense competition against their long lasting rival, and that meant that you would be playing. The gang went to the court, while I made my way to where I knew I'd find Ruby.

She was in the girl's locker rooms, fixing her heavy makeup, the bandage around her nose made me laugh. She rolled her eyes once I walked in "ugh what the heck do you want?"

"Just here to talk, why so angry?" I smirked as I repeated her words from the day I beat her.

Slipping my hands in my hoodies, I approached her "Why did you push Stella off the cliff and blame it on me?"

Her eyes widened in surprise, but she it was immediately replaced by her usual sneer "I hate that brat, she got it coming. Plus, it was a good way to get rid of your ass. What do they say? Two birds with one stone?"

I wasn't shocked that she admitted it; she looked proud while she was talking. My blood boiled, but I fought to stay calm "You could have killed her, just to get me away from Dylan. And then? It only made him hate you more."

"Listen Cheryl, if she died I would have blamed it on you, easy. I'll do the same now anyway if you don't keep your distance. Maybe I didn't win Dylan, even though I'm sure he'll come around, but at least I made your life miserable" she laughed.

She looked like a crazy delusional person, fueled by hate, not a shred of kindness in her eyes. For the first time, I wasn't angry anymore with her.

"I pity you Ruby. You are a heartless bitch who gets high on people's pain and who'll end up alone in the long run."

I didn't wait for her answer and quickly left, making my way to the basketball court. Once I got there, Steve was waiting for me at the door. I handed him the recorder and made my way to the seats my friends would definitely be at. Sitting beside Blake, I nodded my head to him and Kayla, indicating to him that it was going smoothly so far. Steve was talking to the guy responsible for the music, someone he used to be good friends with.

A couple of minutes, he joined us, a grin on his face. This made us smile in relief; we only got one shot at this, better not mess it up.

The game started, but I was too preoccupied to watch it, or to cheer you on. I focused my gaze on Ruby, who took her place as head cheerleader. What we were going to do was a low move, but if we needed to bring her down, we had to stoop down to her level.

Once the first quarter was over, Ruby walked forward to begin their cheer, her squad would follow her in a bit; anything to get all the spotlight. But what we heard was not the soft music for their routine, but two voices talking. Snapping her head up, Ruby caught my eyes, a sheer look of horror on her face. Instead of looking guilty, she only looked angry and murderous.

It was our conversation from the locker's room. I could hear the loud gasps from around me, could see the shock and disgust on the audience's faces. Once the record stopped playing, it was like a storm entered the place. People started yelling and throwing stuff at her. I almost felt bad; key word, almost. Throughout years, she had bullied so many people to the point they had to change schools. That was not okay, let her know the feeling of being humiliated and hated.

She ran out from the school grounds, and something told me that this would be the last we ever saw or heard from her. Grinning, I looked at my best friends and we shared a group hug.

"We did it" Kayla giggled like a little child, her popcorn flying everywhere.

Steve kissed her forehead lovingly, a smile on his face "We sure did babe."

Blake let out a deep laugh, igniting some looks from some of the girls around; I swear they drooled when he smirked "We should do this more often."

It was my turn to laugh.

Bye bye Ruby.

Sincerely yours,

Cheryl
