"I cannot believe you nearly got us banned from that amazing restaurant," Robin groaned as he drove them all home. He was the only one that wasn't covered in food, so to not make a mess out of the car even more, he drove.

"Roy started it!" Shulk yelled.

"Yeah I did, so?" Roy smirked.

"Stop yelling, you're gonna give me a migraine," Marth groaned.

"Puss-"

"Samus, we don't use such language next to innocent little creatures," Palutena said and wrapped an arm around Pit. He just looked at her, confused.

"Well we're here anyway, let's-a-go," Robin said and jumped out of the car.

"Did... did he just quote Mario?" Peach asked.

"That's my boyfriend for ya."

Once everyone was cleaned up, Link and Zelda called them all to the living room. They had told them about the letter from Master Hand, which worried them. If they got a letter from Master Hand it meant A) something bad happened/ is happening or B) they did something wrong. It was the latter most times.

Everyone gathered up in their large couch facing the TV. It was somehow large enough to fit all of them, though some did have to sit on the back and on the arm rests. Zelda was the unfortunate one to sit in the middle.

"So, what's it say?" Ike asked.

"I'm opening it right now, chill," Zelda said and carefully opened the letter, careful not to rip it. She cleared her throat.

"Dear residents of Smash Ball House,

No, you are not in trouble."

They all sighed in relief at that.

"Is here at Master Mansion would like to inform you that big changes are coming up."

"Big changes? What does he mean?" Samus asked.

"I don't know, keep reading," Robin said. Zelda nodded.

"First, we'd like to announce that soon, a new Smash game will release."

"Wait really?! Yay! That means we get to spend more time together!" Peach squealed.

"Something tells me we aren't," Lucina frowned.

"This game will be called Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Here are the changes."

"Oh god I don't want to hear them," Pit said.

"Me neither, it's making me kinda nervous," Palutena said.

"Well, we're gonna have to find out eventually," Link said. "Go on."

"1) a newcomer will be joining the house- Daisy."

"OH MY GOD YAY!" Peach grinned.

"Ya hear that Roy? Daisy is gonna be in the same house as you," Shulk smirked.

"Shut up."

"2) Ike will have the choice to either be himself from Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn."

"You mean Baby Ike and Macho Ike?" Samus said.

"Hey! Not nice."

"I like the Baby Ike we have now."

"Okay Baby Ike it is."

"And finally, probably be biggest change of all, Link and Zelda. They will be replaced."

"WHAT?!" They all yelled at the same time.

"Link will now be his Breath of the Wild self, while Zelda will be her Link to the Past self. Both will be coming late in the evening, while Daisy will be arriving tomorrow.

They all stayed silent for a while. Unmoving. Samus clicked her tongue and snatched he letter out of Zelda's hand. She took a good look at the picture of the new Zelda and Link that was provided. Her face turned sour.

"Oh my god she's like a second Peach!" She yelled and crumpled up the paper and threw it to the ground.

"Hey!"

"Don't leave me please, one Peach is already enough," Samus whined and hugged Zelda around her shoulders.

"I-"

"I take it back can this story not end?" Ike said. "And like can they not be replaced?"

"But it's only been a couple of months," Pit said, tears brimming up in his eyes.

"You have to remember, our time goes slower than in the human world. It's probably been years for them," Marth stated. "Which means it's about time for a new game."

"But I don't want there to be a new game!" Pit cried.

"The letter said they're coming this evening. How are we supposed to pack by then?" Link muttered under his breath. He ran up to his room.

Nothing.

To Zelda's room.

Nothing.

He ran back downstairs.

"Our rooms are empty," he panted, panicked.

"What?!" Zelda said.

"Master Hand must've used his magic to teleport our things back to our homes," Link said.

"So it's really true? You guys are leaving?" Peach squeaked.

"I... I guess so," Zelda said, disheartened.

The group looked at each other, then ran to the middle, giving each other a large group hug.

"I'm gonna miss you guys so much!" Lucina cried.

"Like hell I'm gonna let this happen," Samus said, trying to break free of the group. Ike wouldn't let her.

"Sam, it's no use. The decision was made," he said.

"But to say it out of no where," she turned to him, tears running down her cheeks. "It's not fair!"

"I know, it's not," Robin joined in. "They may be going away, but that doesn't mean we have to stop being friends."

"Yeah! You better text me everyday, y'hear?!" Palutena wailed and hugged Zelda tighter.

"I definitely will," she smiled.

"And don't forget to invite us to the wedding!" Peach said.

"Of course we'll invite you!"

"What?"

"Nothing."

"These few months have been the best of my entire life, and I'm so glad I was able to meet you all. You all make my life so much happier just be being around, just, thank you, so much. I love you all!" Roy grinned.

"Oh my god, Roy, that's the sweetest thing you've ever said!" Shulk said.

"Don't expect it again, asshole!"

"I won't, you fuck!" They gave each other a tight brug. The others awed at them.

Zelda looked down momentarily, then looked back up with a bright smile.

"I guess we should go get ready."

Link raised an eyebrow at her. "Aren't we though?"

"Not yet. We have to change."

Link then understood what she meant and smiled. "Oh, right."

The group stood in front of the door. The boys, Lucina, and Samus were in their armor, while Peach, Palutena, and Zelda were in their dresses.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye, huh," Marth said.

"Yeah," Link grinned. They shook  each other's hand, but then came in for a hug. "You're not bad Marth, you really aren't."

"You're not bad yourself," Marth chuckled. Link parted first, then walked to the door and opened it for Zelda. She smiled at him, then they both looked back at them all.

"Make sure you text us when you get home, okay? Just so we know you're save," Peach smiled.

"We will. See you guys later," Zelda said. With that,

They were out of Smash Ball House.

Forever.

Suddenly, all the memories they'd spent together flushed back to them. The first Blood Week, the hotel, the Star Festival, finding Snowy, the balls, the confessions, the funny moments, the sad moments, everything.

They noticed tears dripping out of each other's eyes, and they wiped them away quickly.

"We'll see them again, I know it," Link smiled. Zelda nodded. That's when they noticed two figures standing in front of them. One was a girl in pink with pointed ears, the other a knight clad in blue. They were also quite short, but not too short.

"Are you guys the old Link and Zelda?" The girl asked.

"Dude, that's kinda rude," the boy said.

"Oh is it?" The girl gasped. She turned back to them and bowed quickly. "I am so sorry! I didn't mean to sound rude or anything, I was just curious that's all-"

"And now you're embarrassing yourself," the boy face palmed. The girl looked like she was about to cry, when Link put his hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay, don't worry about it," he grinned and walked past her.

Zelda put her hand on the boy's shoulder and smiled. "Best of luck, to both of you. You'll need it." She walked past them. The boy and the girl looked at them as they walked away into the sunset, admiring them.

"Wow, they look really in love," the girl smiled.

"Yeah," the boy smiled, "They do."

"Well what are we waiting for? Come on!" The girl grinned and climbed the stairs up to the door. The boy followed after her. She knocked three times before a girl in a bright pink dress opened it. She gasped and grinned excitedly.

"Oh my god! You must be the new Link and Zelda right?" They nodded. "Well, me and my friends would like to personally welcome you to Smash Ball House! Come on in!

"Enjoy your stay!"
