Swinging in the Flowers

The night went on, quicker than expected. The group danced the night away, taking very small breaks for drinks and snacks before returning to the dance floor. Even Roy and Shulk got to dance with some random ladies, or they would dance with each other and snicker when people gave them odd glances.

Marth sighed as he tipped Peach as the song ended. He bowed while she curtsied and then got back to dancing when the next song started. Thankfully, it was time for the small surprise he had planned when they got to the castle. Also thankfully, the group of friends were dancing near each other, so it would be easy to communicate.

"You know, it's really crowdy in here, there's barely any space to dance," He said.

"Now that you mention it, I do feel a little claustrophobic," Roy said as he spun Shulk around.

"I'm still surprised you know the meaning of that," Ike said. Samus laughed and slightly punched his shoulder.

"C'mon, he's not that dumb!"

"Thank you Samus!"

"But I mean you are the dumbest one here."

"Oh gee thanks."

"Anyway," Marth continued. "How about we go out to a little place for ourselves?"

"What are you suggesting?" Robin asked.

"Just follow me, but keep dancing, it'll just make it a lot more fun," Marth smiled and started dancing away with Peach to the door. The others looked at each other and shrugged their suspicion off, following close behind the two.

They reached the ballroom doors, and the guards opened the door to them. Once everyone was out, they closed the door, but they could hear the music still, even though it was muffled. They danced down a large hall and up a small flight of stairs. Then they reached two large double doors with no guards guarding it. Marth knocked on one of the doors twice, and soon they opened, revealing a beautiful garden with bushes or roses and willows.

"Whoa! Pretty!" Peach gasped. Marth lead her in, and she noticed a small group of musicians sitting slightly further away from them. When they noticed them there, they started playing a soft tune.

"Man, I always liked this place," Roy said. He was still dancing with Shulk until they were both snatched away from each other. Roy was slightly stunned, but then focused on the person who took him away. His eyes widened and he felt a small blush creeping up his cheeks.

"D-Daisy?" Roy asked.

"Fiora?!" Shulk yelled.

"Marth was kind enough to invite us," Fiora smiled. She wore a white tulle dress that reached her ankles. Her mask was white with a white flower on the side.

"Yeah! Thanks dude!" Daisy grinned. Her dress was similar to Peach's, except it had less layers. Her mask was orange in the shape of two, well, Daisy's.

"No problem! Glad you could come," Marth said. Everyone was dancing around in a circle formation underneath a large round gazebo in the middle of the garden.

"Ah, this is some much better than dancing in that large crowd, it was starting to smell like sweat too," Palutena laughed. The others laughed as well, agreeing with their friend.

"In the next three measures, we switch partners, so you ladies will spin to the middle, then go to a different partner, while we guys rotate each time, and at the end, we should end up with our original partner by the time the song is over," Marth said. "Does that make sense? I hope it did."

"Yes, so, now?" Link asked. Marth nodded and spun Peach to the middle letting go of her hand, as did the other guys.

"Why, hello, partner," Ike winked jokingly.

"Hello to you too," Zelda smiled.

"You better not step on my toes," Link smirked.

"You jerk, I would never," Samus laughed.

"Roy, don't be an idiot," Peach warned. Roy rolled his eyes and smirked. They traded partners again, careful not to end up with a partner they had before.

"Dancing with you is very fun," Lucina said.

"Why thank you!" Pit grinned.

"Hey, you're gonna make your move tonight, right, Robbie?" Palutena smirked, wiggling her eyebrows up and down.

"Pat!"

"It's very nice to meet you, Link," Fiora smiled.

"Nice to meet you too! You know, Shulk talks about you all the time," Link glanced at Shulk. He glared at him with a raised eyebrow.

"LINK!"

"He does?" Fiora asked, a small blush tinting her cheeks.

"No! I mean yes- I mean no- I-I... never mind." They laughed and traded partners again.

They kept dancing the night away, until it was almost time to go back in the castle to bid farewell the the guests. Some of them sat on the benches of the gazebo while others went exploring around the garden, enjoying some time before having to go back into madness.

"So, Lucina, are you enjoying your night?" Robin asked as they wandered around the rather large garden.

"Of course I am! This is the most fun night of my life!" Lucina grinned. Robin returned a small smile then looked forward. He spotted a small swing in the distance, with only one seat.

"Hey, a swing," Robin pointed at it.

"I saw it too, but there's only one seat," Lucina frowned.

"It's alright, I'll push you."

"Huh? But then you won't have fun."

"It's fine, I've never been a big fan of swings anyway."

"A-alright, if you say so." Lucina slowly sat on the swing while Robin got behind her and gently began pushing her. She giggled and told him to push her higher, and he generously obliged.

The more he pushed, the more she would laugh that contagious laugh of hers. He couldn't help laugh along with her even if he wasn't on the swing. He pushed her up once more, and heard a small 'thump' on the grass. She swung back down and stopped swinging with her feet.

"Shoot, my slipper fell," Lucina said. She reached for it but was stopped by his hand on hers.

"Allow me," Robin smiled. He walked in front of her and took the slipper, getting down on one knee as he did. Lucina blushed and put her bare foot out.

"You have small feet," Robin laughed slightly.

"Oh shut up you have no feet!"

"Come on was that really necessary?"

"Yes, now put it on or I'll do it myself!"

Robin laughed and gently slipped on her slipper. It was transparent, decorated with a butterfly in the middle. It almost looked like glass. He looked back up at her, returning her smile. He felt like he was in a trance.

They stared into each other's eyes, not noticing they were slowly leaning in.

Lucina put her hand on his shoulder and he put his in her cheek. They leaned in more, their lips slightly separated.

Then they touched.

They kissed gently. Lucina's Hand traveled up his neck to his hair, ruffling it a bit. Robin put his other hand around her waist, pulling her closer.

"Ahem."

"AH!" Lucina nearly fell off the swing, but was lucky Robin still had his arm around her waist. They looked to the owner of the voice, only for it to be Link with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Sorry to interrupt, but it's time we go back inside," He said.

"Right! Sorry, I'll, uh, meet you guys there, I have to go the restroom. PALUTENA!" Lucina yelped and ran as fast as she could in heels, grabbing Palutena and taking her inside in the process. Robin kneeled there, still in shock from what had just happened. He shook it off and walked towards Link.

"Hey, my man's finally done it! Oh, Palutena and her stupid club is gonna go nuts," Link snickered, patting Robin's shoulder as they walked back to the others.

"Shut up, will ya?"

"Nope."

"I hate you."

"At least Lucina likes you."

"LINK!"

"What it's true?"

"I wanna die."

"And leave your wife behind? How dumb."

"Okay, okay, I like her! And we....... kissed! But... b-but that doesn't mean that-"

"But that doesn't mean what? She very clearly likes you too, I think you too are gonna be a great couple."

"You think?"

"No actually, I know  so."

"Thanks, I guess. Now, when are you gonna kiss Zel?"

"ROBIN!"

"See, that's what it feels like."

"Okay, I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted."

Lucina paced back and forth in the bathroom while Palutena fangirled in the corner. Lucina covered her ears when she let out an ear piercing squeal that could deafen any Hylian easily.

"You kissed?!"

"Yes now could you not be so loud?! We don't need the castle to now that!"

"But you kissed! Oh my me yes! RobCina, check!"

"Oh my me?"

"I am a goddess!"

"Alright, but could stop yelling? You're gonna make my ears bleed!"

"Sorry, sorry, but, is it official?!"

Lucina scratched the back of her neck and looked away from Palutena, an obvious blush tinting her cheeks. "I-I guess."

"YES! Me and the comments have been waiting for eons for this to happen!"

"STOP YELLING!"

"I'm sorry! Now we just need SamIke, ZeLink, MEach-"

"MEach?"

"Marth x Peach?"

"That sounds like some disgusting bug."

"Well do you  have any better ideas, hm?"

"How about MaAch?"

"*gasp* That's so much better! A MaAch made in heaven, yes!"

"You're welcome, now could we go back? They're probably starting to get worried."

"Let's just let them think we're constipated, now-"

"Palutena! We can talk about it later in your room, let's just go okay?"

"Alright, alright, I'll go ahead. You clean up, okay? Gotta make sure you look your best."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll see you there."

Palutena gave her a wink before walking out the bathroom. Lucina sighed and looked at herself in the mirror. She took of her mask and wiped away any sweat that might've been dripping down her forehead. She then looked at her mask.

It looked like the mask she had wore when she first met Robin. The only difference is that she could actually see better with it, and it was a different shade of blue, one to match her dress. She smiled slightly and held it close to her chest. Sighing, she put it on and hid the ribbons under her hair. She took a deep breath and walked out to return to her love.

This was not a night she would soon forget.

A/N: I may have used too much fluff dust. I'm not sorry at this point. Anyway, that concludes the dance saga. Back to one-shot-ish chapters. Hope you enjoyed. Bye bye!
