No
Twas a chill day in the house. No body really had anything to do, anything to play, anything to cook, they weren't expecting any visitors. So they all just laid around the floor of the living room, trying to figure out something to do.
"Water balloon fight?" Roy suggested.
"No, we already did that," Pit said.
"Uh, fashion show?"
"Peach, no. No matter how many times you ask it's not happening," Samus said.
"Wanna wrestle?" Ike asked.
"That sounds awfully-"
"Palutena."
"Sorry!"
"Well then what do you wanna do?!" Samus yelled. There was a sudden knock on the front door followed by the door bell.
"I got it!" Palutena yelled and ran to the door. She put on a wide grin and opened the door to a young woman with red hair. Palutena's grin disappeared. This chick looks familiar, she thought. "Um, how may I help you?"
"Yes, hi, I'm looking for Link," the young woman said. Palutena raised an eyebrow and turned her head to Link, who was reading a book. She turned back to the woman. "And you are?"
"I'm Palutena, Link's friend."
"Friend, huh? Just friends, right?" The woman gave her a glare and puffed out her cheeks.
"Yes, just friends, I'm not interested, now-"
"Good, he's mine."
"Wh-what? You-? You think he's-? Ugh, whatever, now who the hell are you?"
"Palutena!" Marth yelled from inside.
"Oh shut up! Now, who the hecking heck do you think you are?"
"I'm taking Link to the carnival near town."
"Carnival, eh? And that didn't answer my question! Who are you?"
"I told you I'm taking Link to the carnival!"
Palutena face palmed. "Do you speak another language?! I'm asking for your name!"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Oh my- you are really effing dumb, aren't you? Just tell me your name so we can get this over with, dammit!"
"How rude! I'm Link's future girlfriend, and quite a cute farm girl named Malon."
Palutena's eyes went wide and something inside her clicked. This seems awfully familiar- WAIT A MINUTE! She spun Malon around and kicked her ass.
"NO LEAVE! We don't need you ruining ZeLink in another story! You can go and fuck yourself!" Palutena yelled.
"HEY WA-!"
"AU REVOIR, BITCH!" Palutena yelled and practically slammed the door on her face. She sighed and turned back to the others, who were all staring at her wide eyed. Pit had his finger pointed at her, a terrified look on his face.
"Y-you cu-cursed!" He stuttered. She huffed and crossed her arms, glaring at the ground.
"I think she's worthy of me cursing! She's ruined Zelink too many times and I will not allow her to even scratch this Zelink!"
"I swear, you and your stupid ships," Samus groaned.
"Um, who was she anyway?" Link asked.
"Some girl named Melon," Palutena said.
Link's expression turned sour and he let out a long hiss."I thought I told her I wasn't interested!"
"Wait what?"
"Malon was a friend of mine back when we were kids, and let's just say she's a little obsessed with me-"
"A little?"
"Okay, she's very obsessed with me, and I've told her multiple times that I'm not interested, but she won't give up, no matter what. Now, let's just hope they don't show up," he muttered that last part.
"Who's they?" Palutena asked.
"No one! But I swear I don't have any feelings for her, and her name's not Melon, it's Malon."
"Whatever, she'll be known as Melon here," Palutena sighed. "She mentioned something about a carnival though . You guys wanna go?"
"Where is it?" Shulk asked.
"Oh I heard something about it," Robin said. "I think it's by Town Square."
"We should go then! I mean, there's nothing else to do!" Shulk said.
"I mean, sure, but we should go at night, it'll look prettier that way," Palutena said.
"But I don't like the night! It's dark and spooky," Peach whined.
"There'll be lights! You'll be fine, calm down," Palutena said.
"So, at 6:00? It'll be dark enough by then," Ike said.
"Sure, what time is it now?"
"Like 4:30? Sunset's at five, because fricking Daylight Saving ended," Samus said.
"Ah, right, but that doesn't matter, let's get ready!"
"But we have an hour and a half until we go."
"So? C'mon ladies!"
"Ugh, fine."
A few hours passed, and finally it was time to go to the carnival. They had to put on jackets since it was finally starting to get cold. How is cold better than heat? In the cold, you can put on as many things until you're warm, but when it's hot, you'll probably still be hot no matter how little clothes you have.
"Is everyone ready?" Palutena asked. They nodded and gave her a thumbs up. "Good! Let us go!"
"I swear if you do anything stupid, I will break your bones!" Samus yelled.
"I would do no such thing!" Palutena smirked. Samus gave a small glare and walked out the door. The others followed closely behind her.
After ten minutes, they finally reached Town Square. It was decorated with lights and ribbons, and all the rides were off to the side. Palutena grinned when she noticed the large Ferris Wheel in the middle of it all. She started giggling as ideas came to her mind. The others just stared at her with pure horror.
"So... what should we do?" Link asked.
"ROLLERCOASTER!" Roy yelled.
"No."
"How about a shooting game?" Marth said.
"I don't wanna kill people!" Peach said.
"Peach, you don't- ah, that's not how you- look, just follow me," Marth said. He took Peach's hand and guided her over to a stand that was surrounded by others. A small blue fairy was in charge of it. Marth turned and grabbed one of the fake games and aimed for a target.
"That'll be ten rupees to play!" The fairy said.
"Huh?" He raised an eyebrow and turned to it.
"Ten rupees or no deal!"
"I don't have any rupees, shoot, I should've asked Link or Zelda for some," Marth said as he searched his pockets. Peach did too and shook her head when she didn't find any.
"Wait, you're friends with the princess?! Why didn't you say so! You can have this one for free, hit bullseye and you get this!" The fairy raised a large panda plush with magic, probably. Peach gasped and wrapped her arms around one of Marth's, giving him a wide, hopeful grin.
"Please get me that Marth! It's so cute!" Peach squealed. He glanced at her, then at the plush. He shrugged her off and gave her a quick wink.
"Watch this," he smirked. He sat on the dirt floor, his back against the stand. He raised the gun over his head and rested it on the table, moving it around a bit. "That should be good."
"What are you doing?" Peach asked.
"Just watch." He finally stopped aiming and fired.
"Bullseye! Congratulations, here's your prize!" The fairy squeaked. Marth stood up and dusted himself. He thanked the fairy and took the plush, then turned to Peach, holding out the panda to her.
"There you go! I was planning on getting you something anyway," he said shyly. Peach smiled and hugged the large plush, then place a quick kiss on Marth's cheek. His face started to heat up.
"Thank you, Marth!"
He smiled and patted her head. "Any day."
"Wanna go to the carousel?"
"Yes, let's go!"

"Ferris wheel!"
"Oh no."
"You two! Go!" Palutena pushed Link and Zelda in one of the seats. They didn't have time to even respond before Palutena closed the small door and sent them on their way tot he top. They both groaned slightly but buckled their seatbelts. The ride to the top was a long one.
"Palutena and her stupid games," Link sighed. "I'm sorry you're stuck up here with me."
"I don't mind," Zelda said. She looked up at the starry night sky. "It's quite the beautiful night, don't you think?"
Link glanced at her then up at the sky. "Yeah, but I've seen prettier things."
Zelda turned to him and tilted her head a little. "Really? What would that be? To me, the sky is one of the most beautiful things out there, especially the night sky. Full of so many glimmering stars that are surprisingly far away. So many planets, no, galaxies that we don't know about. So, tell me? What could be more beautiful then this?"
"You," he said without looking at her. Her ears perked up as her cheeks flushed. She let out a short scoff.
"No way, there are many things that are a lot prettier than me," she said.
He finally turned to her. "I don't think so. I've seen a lot of pretty things, but you're the most beautiful by far."
"You really think so?"
"Of course I do. I would never lie about such thing."
"Well, I think you're pretty good looking yourself."
"Thanks, but I don't even try."
"Oh shut up!"
"What! It's true!"
"You're lying!"
"Did I not just say I don't lie?"
"You're a liar."
"I am not!"
"You have to try at least a little!"
"Fine, I do my hair every morning and I panic when I don't have my earrings on, and that is all."
"And you go to the gym."
"Well-"
"And you eat healthily, except for all the pastries and candy."
"I mean don't we-"
"You also move around quite a lot."
"Well we live in a rowdy house-"
"And you have a brain."
"I feel like that's an insult to the other guys-"
"And you're funny."
"Oh, thanks-"
"You're honest."
"Okay stop, I'm getting emba-"
"And finally, you're trustworthy. I find those things very attractive in a man."
"Y-you do?"
Zelda let out a quiet yawn. "Yeah, so, you're technically the perfect man for me." His whole face and the tips of his ears became scarlet.
"W-w-what?! Zelda, by any chance have you not been sleeping a lot?"
She yawned again, leaning her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "Maybe? It has been getting a lot harder to sleep and I don't know why. Sorry if I'm a little drowsy."
"I-it's alright, here." Carefully, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around Zelda then put his arm around her. "Take a quick nap, I have a feeling Palutena is gonna stop this when we're on the very top, so that'll give you a good.... ten or so minutes for a power nap. I'll wake you up when we reach the bottom."
"Are you sure? I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable."
"I'm sure, don't worry, go ahead and rest," he said and gave her a crooked smile. Zelda smiled and wrapped her arms around Link's waist, pulling them closer to each other. She quickly drifted off to sleep as they stopped at the top.
Link looked into the sky, around each of the stars. Then he noticed, if he squinted his eyes a little, he could slightly see a blue galaxy. It reminded him of Zelda's eyes. Dark yet sparkling. Beautiful. He stared at it until they started moving down again, and once they were half-way down, he lightly shook Zelda, in an attempt to wake her up.
"Zelda, Zel, hey, we're going back down," he whispered. They reached the bottom and Link began to panic but then they didn't stop, they kept going. He looked at the operator, who smirked and shrugged. He was confused at first then realized. There was no one else on the Ferris Wheel, it was just them, and they were on an endless loop. He almost face palmed.
"Dammit Palutena," he sighed. He looked at Zelda and noticed that some strands of hair had gotten on her face. He carefully brushed them away with his free hand and kept it on her soft cheek. He smiled and placed a kiss on the top of her head. He leaned his head back and sighed happily.
"Yeah, I think I like this actually. Thanks Pal, I guess."

Samus practically dragged Ike through every single game stand and ride through out the whole night. And he didn't mind. In fact, it made him really happy, yet extremely anxious at the same time. He's been planning for a while, and he's been practicing for a while. For a lot longer than her probably should have to ask a simple question.
Alright Ike, you got this! You've practiced for a whole three weeks and now is the perfect time! We're just going to watch a fireworks show! No biggie! It'll be perfect! Yeah. Perfect.
...
But what if it isn't perfect?! What if she says no and our friendship is ruined and we never talk to each other and I move because I can't bear the embarrassment and-
"IKE! Hello?! Earth to Ike! Do we have a connection?!"
"Huh?" Ike blinked. Samus laughed and patted the ground next to her.
"C'mon, the show's starting soon!" she said.
"Oh, right, my bad!" He grinned, scratching the back of his head. The show was to start in around five minutes, so the two laid back on the grass, chatting about shows they were excited to see.
"Hey, I've been wanting to ask you something," Samus said out of nowhere. Ike sat up and turned to her.
"Yeah, what's up?" he said. He noticed some pink on her cheeks as she sat up too.
"Well, I've been wondering- and you don't have to say yes- I mean I would like it if you said yes- but no hard feelings if you say no- I mean, who would want to go out with some one like me- wait, no! Crap I didn't mean to ask that way! I- I! I want to die." She buried her head between her knees as Ike just sat there, a little too shocked from the situation. He did not expect her to make the first move.
"You... you're asking me out?" He asked. Samus looked up at him and nodded. "Oh... well... I was actually going to ask you that."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah, I've been practicing for three weeks."
"Only three? I've been practicing for a month!" They both laughed.
"So, is that a yes?"
"I guess so."
"Are you sure? This is probably gonna be a very big mistake."
"I'm sure."
"Are you sure you're sure?"
"I'm sure I'm sure."
"Are you sure you're sure you're sure?"
"Oh my- Ike, yes! I'll go on a date with you!"
"But are you really-" He was interrupted by her lips touching his, just as the fireworks started. He stared at her wide eyes, but melted into the kiss and wrapped his arms around her waist while she wrapped her around his shoulders. They parted and put their foreheads together.
"So, you love me too?" Ike asked. Samus nodded and gave him a wink.
"Yes."
