A huge thank you to all of you who have submitted your stories for #YourStoryIndia. We've received hundreds of submissions ranging a variety of different genres and perspectives, as well as thousands of Tweets with the hashtag #YourStoryIndia.

There's a little over three weeks left for the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival, and we can barely contain our excitement!

We've set out a thorough process to judge your stories and will be taking their popularity on Wattpad and Twitter into consideration. In addition, experienced evaluators, who are writers and work in the publishing industry will be reading the stories and evaluating them on four main criteria. These criteria include the quality of the plot, strength of characterization, mechanics of language and of course how effectively the story sticks to the theme of 'Your Story India'.

An expert panel of judges including William Dalrymple, Amish Tripathi, Neelesh Mishra and Tisca Chopra will further evaluate your work.

We will be reaching out to the top stories via email and Twitter, and will also require government-issued identification for those selected, so please ensure you have this accessible.
