From Rabindranath Tagore to Jhumpa Lahiri, story-telling has always been an integral part of India's history and culture. The Global Education Platform and Wattpad have teamed up with Twitter India to bring this alive in India's youth with #YourStoryIndia.

Young Indians between the ages of 13 and 25 can submit their stories by writing in one of 10 regional languages in India via Wattpad and then Tweeting their story to @YourStoryIndia with the hashtag #YourStoryIndia.

Through a review process by Wattpad's team as well as an experienced jury, the 5 best stories submitted with the hashtag #YourStoryIndia before December 31st 2015 will get the chance to be named the first ever Twitter #YourStoryIndia Fellows.

As Fellows, you will have the unique opportunity to be flown to attend the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival from 21st-25th January 2016 to meet some of India's--and the world's--most prominent authors, and have your stories featured at the Festival. You will also be featured on Times Now, and profiled as a young story-teller for India!

How to become a Twitter #YourStoryIndia Fellow:

1. You have to share your story via Wattpad before 31st December 2015, IST

2. Story-writers MUST Tweet the Wattpad link to their story to @YourStoryIndia with the hashtag #YourStoryIndia

3. Readers can show their love by ReTweeting or Liking the stories they like on Twitter – don't forget to link to the author's Twitter handle and story-title when doing so, always mentioning @YourStoryIndia for the Tweet to be counted

How do we choose who becomes a Twitter #YourStoryIndia Fellow?

· Story-writers must Tweet the link to their story in order to be eligible

· Story-writers will be evaluated based on the quality of their story, which will be determined by Wattpad as well as an experienced jury, who will be announced shortly

· We will also take into consideration which stories are most popular on Twitter

· JLF, Times Now and Twitter India are partners who will be supporting this initiative

· You must be between the ages of 13 and 25 and must be an Indian citizen who resides in India

· Your work must be original, and either feature, or be about India

· You may submit your story in the following languages: English, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Gujarati, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese.

· You can enter as many stories as you would like!

· You have to submit your story on or before 31st December 2015
