Somehow we started talking about parents which lead to talking about my mom " It was a few months into kindergarten. My mom was a 3rd grade teacher. We were all enjoying a normal morning when there was a lockdown. My kindergarten teacher locked the door and we hid but my mom must have forgotten to lock the door because as she finished hiding her students the bad guy came in and killed her. We have all been super sad ever since." I told them. "Wow that is super sad" said Carly. Maybe she is starting to like me. "Yea that is super sad" Emily also said. " Though before we left Faith my dad got engaged. We moved here so he could get married and live here. Their marriage is in two weeks. I am so excited. Well this is my stop" I told them. "Hey it is our stop too." Emily said. Carly groaned looks like my method for her liking me better didn't work. One day we will be great friends.... Hopefully. We all got off the bus I said bye Emily also said bye but Carly didn't say anything. We all went our separate ways. When I got home my Dad was there but Clark wasn't. I told him about my day then went to my room. I still haven't unpacked everything so I decided I would unpack today.
