The group reaches the water tower. The garage below is swarmed with a herd. A generator sits inside the herd near the garage. There's barrels inside the herd. Near the garage as well is a giant dirty yellow bulldozer.

Javier: "I miss when all we did was track the herd. From a safe distance."

Kate: "We need to get down there. We're not getting anywhere without one of those vehicles."

David: "It's not like we can just ask all those walkers to move out of the way." David shrugs.

Gabe: "How about we make some noise and distract them? We can use that generator."

Javier: "That's a great idea, Gabe."

David: "When'd you get so smart, Gabe? You really aren't the same kid I remember. I'm impressed Really."

Javier: "Oh, what can I say? I taught him well."

David: "Oh, my god, Javi. Really?" You can tell whether davids happy, or surprised.

Gabe: "It's okay, Dad. He's right."

Kate: We still gotta get to the generator somehow.

Y/N: "Cut a walker open and cover yourself with its guts. Then you can slip right through them. What?"

Javier: "That's a great idea. Gross idea, but great. I could've saved my water bottle!" He facepalms, what water bottle is he talking about? I didn't see him with one.

Clementine: "So...who's gonna do it?"

Clementine: "Y/N you've been willing to do some crazy stuff for me before. I know shooting Conrad wasn't easy. But it showed me I can always depend on you.

Y/N: "Of course, Clem."

Javier: "I'll go to, just to keep him safe." Javi smiles and you both prepare to go down.

Clementine: "Look, it smells really bad, like, way worse than you think."

Javi and you climb down the water tower on to the dirt.

Javi and you hide behind a dumpster.

Javier: "You'll do."

Javi whistles, and a walker approaches him. He kills it with the knife and drags it behind the dumpster.

Javier: "Okay...you can do this, Javier."

Javi cuts open the walker.

Javier: "Holy fucking god...ugh. God. Ughh. I think...I'm gonna be sick."

Y/N: "Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth. Better?" He nods.

Javi scoops up some guts you do to.

Javier: "Oh, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks..."

Javi covers himself in the guts. Then he covers your back after you cover your front. You do the same for him.

Javier: "Do you just literally eat shit all day long? Is that why you smell so bad? Okay, that better be enough."

Y/N: "Nice one."

You both walk fhrough the herd and turn on the generator after you press a large green button that says on. While the walkers are drawn toward the noise, the rest of the group joins you and javi in the garage.

Clementine: "You did it, Y/N." You smile and nod. You survey the area and fine some shelves with empty gas cans and water bottles.

David: "Barely." You can't tell if that was meant for you or Javi.

Javier: "Now that we're here, we've gotta find something to seal the breach with. All we need is the right vehicle."

Jason walks up to a truck.

Javier: "Uh, that's not gonna do the job, man..."

David: "Yes. It is." Huh? David stands next to Jason and nods. You can see a frown forming on your brothers face.

Javier: "What are you doing?"

David: "The right thing. I'm leaving. We're all leaving."

Javier: "What? And going where? You saw it yourself, we're surrounded by the herd!"

David: "I'm taking my family out of here. You helped keep them safe, Y/N and Clem. You're coming, too. Let's go! Everyone. We can't wait around."

Kate: "This is bullshit!"

Jason: They don't exactly love us back there. That's not a bad idea, David.

Kate: "What?!"

Javier says nothing.

Kate: "This all started the day we knocked on Richmond's door. We brought this upon these people. All of us! We can't abandon them! Not after what we've done!"

David: "We're going home, Kate! Back to the last place we were a family. We're starting over. We're all together again. Finally. It's time. All of us. A new day. A new life."

Javier: "What about here, man? Make Richmond our new home."

Jason: "Richmond is gone, Javi. I'm not gonna let the people I love die trying to save a dead dream."

Gabe: "I'll go with you, Dad."

Clementine: "Gabe?"

Gabe: "He's my father, Clem. I'm sorry, but...you really wouldn't understand."

Javier: "Think this over, buddy."

Kate: "Gabe, is this what you really want?"

Gabe: "I know it's scary out there, but...I have to."

David: "You don't have to be afraid, Gabe. I won't let what happened to Mariana happen to you. You have my word. I'll protect you. The right way."

Y/N: "Jason, what the fuck man."

Javier: "We always hoped you would come back. I wish you had gotten to know her. Her smile, man...it was like sunshine."

David: "I'm not missing another minute with my family now."

Gabe: This is what I want.

Kate: I...I understand, Gabe. I'm still going back. I won't be able to live with myself if I don't try to help the people in Richmond.

David: "You won't be able to live at all if you do that. Richmond is compromised. Doesn't matter if there were five of us trying to save it or five hundred. We'd all die. I know a losing battle when I see one. We're moving out. Everybody get in. That's an order!"

Kate slaps David.

Kate: "How fucking dare you! What will it take, David? What will it take to show you that you do not get to do that?! We are not your soldiers! Run away home. Be a deserter. I am done with you."

Kate: "Let's go, Javi."

David: "Why the fuck do you think he would go with you?"

Kate kisses Javi.

Kate: "Tell him." An angry look crosses davids face before anyone speaks.

Jason: "I'm so Fucking sick and tired of this Y/N! I'm tired of being a mule. I'm tired of always listening to everyone without something to say. It's your fault my homes gone, and it's going to be your fault if everyone of these people die because of you!" You brother steps forward, you can see the determination in his eyes. Like a fire, did he see that in you? Did anyone.

Jason: "I should've known. I should've known the night ma died. The night you watch it happen. Blood is worthless to you. Just like she was to you. Just like I am to you. Well, it's time for you to finally learn what blood really means." David circles behind you so you move toward the open garage door.

Jason punches you, you can already feel the blood pouring from your nose and the bruised face.

Kate: "David! Stop Him!"

Gabe: "Jason!"

Jason: "What do you have to say for yourself...brother?"

Clementine: "Jason! Stop it!"

Y/N: "I love you.." how would you hit your own brother. He's your only family left. You can NEVER hurt family. And you'll take that to the grave.

Jason: "No...no, you don't get to say that!"

Kate: "Jesus Christ, stop!"

Jason punches you in your stomach, knocking the wind out of you. Then hits you in your face.

Jason grabs a wrench from the counter.

Jason: "You bastard! You're not taking my family from me!"

Kate: "Jason, no!" David stands there with his arms crossed, a sad frown on his face looking down at you.

Clementine: "Both of you, stop!"

Jason hits you with the wrench knocking you to the floor, you feel something like metal in your mouth start pouring out.

Gabe: "Jason, no!"

Gabe grabs Jason's arm, and he hits Gabe with the wrench.

Kate: "Gabe!"

Clementine: "Oh, my god!"

Jason starts choking you with the wrench while your on the ground.

Jason: "You're not taking my family from me!"

Kate: "David, no!"

David: "I'm gonna fucking kill you!"

Kate: "Fucking stop!"

Clementine: "I'm warning you! Stop!"

Y/N: "I love you...brother."

Clementine points a gun at David's head. He gets up and raises his hands.

Clem shoots at an approaching walker.

David: Fuck!

Kate: Holy shit!

Jason and you fight off some of the walkers.

Kate: "Javi! Y/N!"

Clem, Javi, you, and Kate run into the garage.

Javier: "David?"

David closes the garage door. Behind him is jason and Gabe.

Javier: "What the hell is he doing?"

Javi opens the door.

David, Jason and Gabe drive away in the truck, attracting the herd.

Clementine: "David took him!"

Kate: "We can't wait any longer. We have to go help Richmond. I'm getting on that bulldozer!"

Clementine: "But Gabe!"

Kate: "Gabe wanted to go! He did! We all heard it!"

Clementine: "You're...you're right."

Kate: "I'm going to save Richmond. Someone has to."

Y/N: "How the fuck can you leave your kid with a psychotic war vet. Jesus christ." You shake your head.

Clementine: "Let's split up, Javi. I'll go after Gabe on that motorcycle if you don't. Otherwise, I'll go with Kate on the bulldozer."

Y/N: "Are you sure you'll be okay without me?"

Clementine: "I can take care of myself."

Kate: "We're out of time!"

Clementine: "Guys.. I'm sorry, I've been here before. More than once. It's not gonna end well for everyone. You have to decide."

Javier: "Someone has to go after Gabe. I guess I'm that someone."

Y/N: "I'll go with him. For Jason's Sake."

Clementine: "Okay. Kate and I will watch out for each other."

Javier: "You're gonna have to."

Kate: "C'mere, ugly."

Kate and Javi kiss.

Y/N: "Clem I like you alo-" Clem interrupts you and leans into you, she plants her lips on yours firmly and it feels like the whole world melts. For a moment you forget about the dire situation your in. You take in her familiar aroma and it makes the kiss better altogether and you love it.

Kate: "Go get him." She looks over at you and Clem kissing and you both pull back with a slight chuckle and blush.

Javier: "Yes, ma'am. Let's get going Y/N"

Javi and you hop onto the bikes and onto the streets right behind David.

You skirt through the streets, following the pile of roadkill in a quiet panic.

Javier: "That's gotta be David's work. Thanks for leaving the trail of roadkill, brother. Should lead me right to you."

There are more dead walkers.

Javier: "This way!"

Javi and you reach Gabe, Jason and David's truck, which is surrounded by walkers.

Y/N: "Shit!"

Javier: "Oh, god. No!"

Jason: "they're everywhere!" He sounds like a scared little kid.

David: "Don't let them get you!"

Javier: "Hang on, Gabe!"

Javi and you kill the walkers outside the truck. You shoot a walker behind you, disorienting yourself due to the gun firing so close to your ear.

Jason: "Help! Somebody help us!'

Gabe: "Help!"

Javier: "Hang on, Gabe!"

You realize your out of ammo and kill the walkers with your bat.

Javier: "That's right... Focus on me! Come on! Yeah, that's it, that's it!"

Javi and you lead the walkers away from the car and kills them.

Gabe: 'Javi! Is that you? Help!"

David: "Get the fuck off me!"

Javier: "Hold on, Gabe!"

You kill a walker attacking David.

Jason: "They got David!"

Y/N: "oh hell."

Javier: "Get away from him, you bastard!"

Javi kills a walker near Gabe's door.

Javier opens Gabe's door.

Javier: "I'm here, Gabe. I got you."

Gabe: "Okay... Okay." You kill the rest of the walkers surrounding the area as Jason and Gabe get out of the truck.

David: "I'm sorry." David gets out of the car holding his bleeding, bitten neck.

Javier: "David?!"

David: "I couldn't fight them all, Javi. I'm sorry."

Javier: "No, no, NO."

David: "I'm sorry. Gabe, look away."

Javier: "Come on, man. I got you, David."

Javi helps David get out of the truck and sit down.

Javier: Did they get you?!

Gabe "I--I'm fine. It just... It--it hurts. I tried to stop him, Javi. That's why we crashed."

Jason: "Im fine."

Javier: "I'll go talk to him... Unless you want to."

Gabe: "No... No. Can you? Please?"

Javier: "Of course. Keep an eye out for the muertos."

David: "You know what Pa told me...the day Gabe was born?"

Javier: "What's that?"

David: "It takes everything...to raise a child, mijo. And I don't mean money or time or patience. I mean...everything." When you give everything, it's hard to know what to do when you...lose everything. It's..."

Javier: "I know you were doing what you thought best, David. That's never an easy thing."

David: "Gabe... Take care of him, Javi. You have to take care...of each other. Please. Please, Javi."

David: "My little boy..."

David: "Te quiero, Gabriel. Te quiero, Mariana. Te quiero, Javier. Te quiero, Y/N. Te quiero, Jason. Te quiero, Clem. Te quiero AJ." David dies.

Gabe: "I'll do it. Before...he turns. It's my responsibility. I...I can do it."

Javier: "Okay, Gabe. He'd be proud of you."

Gabe: "I hope so."

Jason: "I know so."

Javi gives his gun to Gabe, and he shoots David.

Javier: "We have to head back. Come on."

You return to Richmond one the motorcycles, where Jesus and some Kingdom soldiers are killing walkers.

Y/N: "Clem?! Kate?!"

Javier: "Let's get inside! We gotta find Kate!"

You all get out of the truck.

Jason: "Jesus! Man, am I glad to see you! Looking a little bit different, though!"

Jesus: "Once I got in contact with my people, I headed right back. Had to make sure you folks were safe. Can you help us get the gate open?"

Y/N: "You gotta boost me up, Gabe!"

Gabe boosts you up to the top of the gate.

Y/N: "I'll have it open in a second!"

You climb up to the control panel.

Javier: 'They couldn't just have an "open gate" button?"

You push the green button and the gate opens.

Javier: "Bingo!"

Kingdom Soldier: "Let's get inside and wrangle the walkers together! If we get them in one group, we can lead them right out!"

The group moves through the streets of Richmond.

Kingdom Soldier 1: "We need to round up these walkers!"

Javier: "Kate! Kate, where are you?!"

Kingdom Soldier 2: "Head 'em towards the gate!"

Clementine: "What's going on?"

Javier: "I can't find Kate!"

Clementine: "We got separated after we sealed the breach. We were going to open the gate, but... There were so many walkers. I barely made it through."

Clementine: "Kate! Kate!" You walk past the sealed hole, Kate must've fixed it in time.

Javier: "Kate, please!"

Clementine: "Kate! Kate, where are you?"

Javier: "Kate! Kate!"

Clementine: "Javi... I think she's...gone. Just...gone."

Javier: "No... No! This isn't fucking happening!"

Y/N: "Javi..."

Javier: "This is all because of me. This is all my fault!"

Clementine: "No, it isn't. Saving Richmond is what she wanted."

Javier: "Oh, god! Oh, Kate, I'm so sorry!"

Clementine: "Saving Richmond is what she wanted."

Gabe: "Wh--what happened?"

Javier: "I don't know, buddy. We can't find her. I can't stop looking. Kate, where are you?"

Clementine: "Kate! Kate!"

Gabe: "Kate, please!"

Jason: "Kate, where the fuck are you?!"

3 days later, in town square

Jesus, Javi, Gabe, Clem and you wave goodbye. Jesus and Gabe leave. Clem and you walk up to Javier.

Lingard walks through the square.

Javier: "You're alive."

Paul: "Don't remind me. I'm not gonna say thank you for keeping me alive. But I'm gonna try and find something out there that might make me say thank you...someday." he stops in front of you three.

Clementine: "So where's AJ? Tell us. Where?"

Y/N: "We saved your life. We saved your city. You owe us info. Where's AJ?"

Paul: "So polite. He's at McCarroll Ranch."

Paul: "It's not too far from here. That's...that's where we left him, at least."

Y/N: "Thank you. Good luck out there, doctor."

Lingard leaves.

Javier: "You're outta here too, huh?"

Clementine: "Yeah. It's time. We have to find AJ, Javi. I've waited so long. But could you do me one last favor, before I leave?"

Clem takes off her hat and sits in a chair while Javi cuts her hair. You stand beside her, lightly touching your hair. She sits on a green bench with her hat on a green picnic table in front of her.

Javier: "I used to do this for my niece."

Y/!: "That's nice of you."

Javier: "She thought I was terrible at it."

Clementine: "Were you?"

Javier: "None of your business."

Clementine: "I'm really gonna miss Gabe. I mean--he's super annoying sometimes, but...I've gotten used to having him around. At least to have someone to talk to. Even if he is a total dork."

Javier: "Not that he's said anything to me in particular, but... You know the guy's got a mondo crush on you, right?"

Clementine: 'Ah! He does not!"

Javier: "Oh, my gosh, you have a crush on him too!"

Clementine: "I do not!"

Y/N: "Come on dude."

Javier: "Ah, you both have my blessing." Did he mean you and Clem or, her and Gabe?

Clementine: "I'm gonna stab you with those scissors!"

Javier says nothing.

Clementine: "We have to see AJ, Javi we have to see that he's okay. Do you think he remembers us? At least a little? Maybe?"

Javier: "Who could forget you pair,  No one who knew you, I guarantee it."

Clementine: "Yeah. Maybe."

Y/N: "Everyone told us he was better off. After everything's that's happened, I'm starting to think they're right. I don't know if I was a good dad or not. I can't stop thinking about it. I really wish I could." Javi starts cleaning up Clem's hair a little.

Javier: "Did you love him?"

Y/N: "With all of my heart."

Clementine: "Same here."

Javier: "Then of course you both were."

Clementine: "Gabe told me you used to play baseball."

Javier: "I did. I loved it."

Clementine: "He told me you fucked it all up, too."

Javier: "Yup. Sure did."

Y/N: "Well, you survived."

Javier: "I had to."

Clementine: "But you loved it. How do you survive that? How? If you really loved it? How?"

Javier: "That's what's good about a broken heart. When you're looking at it all broken and shattered on the floor... You figure out the pieces you need versus the ones you liked. If you're ready to move on, that is.."

Clementine: "If..."

Javier: "All done!"

Clementine: "Well, how's it look?"

Javier: "You know what? I'll grab your hat."

Javi picks up Clem's hat.

Javier: "Huh. I remember this team. Your dad ever teach you about baseball?"

Javi gives Clem her hat.

Clementine: "No, not really."

Clem puts her hat back on.

Javier: "Well, you come back, and I'll tell you all about it."

Y/N: "It's a deal."

Clementine: "If I bring AJ back with me, will you teach him too?"

Javier: "You bet. He belongs with you. Bring him back."

Javi, Clementine, you and Gabe walk outside the walls of Richmond. Clem hugs Gabe. Javi and the others wave goodbye to Clem and you, and you both wave back. Javi and the others go back inside. You both walk away from Richmond, into the train tunnel and out. Till you reach the gas station, killing walkers along the way in the pink sunset.

Clementine: "We're going to find you, AJ."

Y/N: "We will Clem......" You kiss her on the lips and continue your trip.
