ELIJAH : you have trouble with falling asleep, you roll around in your bed and try to stop thinking about elijah, but it's hard. you usually stay up late, because when you realize you can't sleep you go to the kitchen and make some tea and sit in the living room where you might watch a movie and then fall asleep. if elijah returns from wherever he has been before you wake up, he takes you to his arms and carries you to the bed where he cuddles with you for a while.

KOL : you drink some relaxing tea before going to bed, and try to stop worrying about silly things, like kol's safety because you know that he'll always return home. when you go to bed, you turn off the lights and slide under the covers where you plug in your earphones and put on some calming songs - like most of ed sheeran's work. it usually takes you a while to fall asleep, but when you do you don't wake up until it's morning and kol is next to you.

JEREMY : you often see nightmares when jeremy isn't there to cuddle you to a peaceful slumber, which is why you usually end up staying up until jeremy comes home. it's not very smart, probably, but you simply can't sleep when he's gone. it gives you an empty feeling, and you mend it with ice cream and movies until early morning which is usually when jeremy returns. he doesn't like the way you keep yourself up, but the promises he forces you to make always break.

KLAUS : you fall asleep quickly, you like to think that the quicker you do so, the quicker klaus will return which is helpful. but you're a light sleeper, and wake up maybe even too easily, and you often get disappointed when you find out that the noise you heard wasn't because of klaus coming back to you. whenever you sleep without him, you barely get any sleep because even though you fall asleep easily, you also wake up the same way.

DAMON : you're used to sleeping alone, because damon is one busy guy, always in trouble and having to deal with supernatural stuff. so to you, it isn't a problem to fall asleep without his arms around you, and it isn't hard for you to sleep through the night peacefully. whenever damon is there to sleep with you, you're very glad and you love it, because it's rare and special. 

KAI : you love when you get to sleep alone in your shared bed. sure, you love having kai's arms around you and knowing that the person you love the most is there feels great, but sleeping alone has it's perks too. you get more space, you can sleep however you want, and you don't have to deal with kai's snoring which is often irritating and loud. but you don't complain about it, you love kai and sleeping with him is wonderful too.

STEFAN : you always make great plans of how you're going to stay up until stefan returns and play on your phone, watch tv and drink coffee to keep yourself awake but you always end up falling asleep. usually on the couch, where stefan always finds you, picks you up and takes you to your bedroom where you sleep together for a while. he thinks you're cute when you try to wait for him to come back, but he finds it even cuter how he every time finds you somewhere sleeping already.
