Chapter 33.
Wrap it before you tap it.
~~
It was awkward. Super duper awkward.
I glanced through my eyelids as my dad shifted on the beige colored couch, picking up his coffee mug from the table all the while glaring at the extremely uncomfortable Bryan, or at least trying his best to glare. Connor sat beside my dad stifling a smile. I and mom were huddled on the opposite chair, glancing nervously at the scene playing in front of us.
"So..." My dad cleared his throat, pausing as he thought of something to say. "Your name is Bryan."
And that is what he comes up with!
To say my father couldn't interview my boyfriend was the biggest understatement.
"Yeah." Bryan nodded, touching his blue shirt collar anxiously. This was probably the first time he was wearing a shirt that too with a tie. He looked pretty hot and I would have kissed him asininely if my father wasn't in front trying his best to act strict.
"Why are you called Ace then?"
"Uh I don't know?"
My father licked his lips, trying to think of some serious question. "Are you dating my daughter just for sex?"
I choked on the air while my mother chided. "Luke, don't ask stupid questions."
My dad huffed. "That is a valid question. I should know." The last was of course muttered under his breath.
"No sir." A blushing Bryan answered. "I am not dating her for sex."
"Is she a virgin?"
"Dad!" I exclaimed in horror and complete embarrassment.
"Uh I don't know?" Bryan coughed out, shifting in his seat. Of course he knew!
"Luke one more stupid question and you are in the doghouse." My mother said, swiftly standing and going into the kitchen, away from her embarrassing husband.
My dad gulped. "So do you play any sports? I hope this is not a dumb question." He raised his voice at the end, making sure my mom heard it.
"Uh I can play soccer and basketball but I am not on the school team."
"Why? Not interested in cheerleaders?" My dad asked in a low voice, making sure it didn't reach the kitchen.
"Dad!" this time Connor shouted. "I wasn't on the team because I was interested in the cheerleaders."
My dad rolled his eyes. "Please I have seen those girls in skimpy clothes leave your room at 3 in the morning."
Connor blushed red. "You saw that?"
Whoa! Surprise there!
"You lived under my roof, I had the right to know what was going on in it. And that one with that red tiny skirt, I am so glad I never saw her again. She walked out topless." Dad shook his head in disgrace.
"Dad." I hissed. "Ever heard about TMI, Too Much Information?"
Connor on the other hand, had turned to tomato red and I desperately want to take a picture of that. Connor Williams, blushing red? Once in a billion years.
"Yeah yeah." My dad waved off his hand. "Whatever, I am not going to give you lecture on using protection because you might already know all that. If you have any doubts you can ask Connor." Dad patted Connor's shoulder.
Connor wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Don't please. Ask Logan if you must."
Dad snorted. "That guy will simply say something along the lines of, 'Wrap it before you tap it' and get on with his job."
I slapped my forehead. "Dad just go."
"Yeah don't make her cry or I'll cut of your balls and hang them in your bedroom." My dad warned, looking at Bryan with narrowed eyes.
Unconsciously his hand covered his crotch. "Yes sir." He choked out.
Dad got up, nodding at him. "Call me Luke and whenever you two are alone in the room I want the door wide open. No funny business or funny voices." He started walking outside muttering something along the lines of, 'I'll have to cut short my international trips now.'
I rolled my eyes at my dad's protective behavior. Connor got up and patted Bryan's shoulder. "Take care of her dude."
"I will." Bryan promised.
Soon I and Bryan were the only people in the hall. I walked towards him and wiped a drop of sweat from his forehead.
"Wow you were really nervous." I commented, my eyes widening.
He snorted, wiping his forehead. "I was not." He paused. "Now I know how you are so weird, total replica of you father."
I slapped his shoulder. "I am not that weird."
He grinned and pecked my lips. "You are but I still love you."
I froze at hearing those words and my heart almost jumped out of my ribs. That L letter word from Bryan Cooper, a notorious player was so not expected now.
I looked at him and his eyes were shining with joy, not an ounce of regret. He did mean it!
I grinned back and deepened the kiss, letting my feelings show into the kiss, before pulling back. "I -"
"Make way for Noddy!" A voice rang throughout the house and footsteps came running inside.
I blew a frustrated breath watching the two idiots go in circles. Alan was holding Logan's wheelchair circling it while Logan held on it with a pained face.
"Stop doing that you dipshit." Logan shouted. "I knew letting you drive was a bad idea."
Alan stopped, and left Logon on the chair, coming closer to us. "Phulz I was awesome."
"I almost fell like six times!" Logan exclaimed, leaning forward and hitting Alan's back.
"That was because you wouldn't listen to me and kept taking wrong turns." Alan retorted.
"You didn't have to blindfold me."
"You blindfolded Logan?" I asked in shock, staring at Alan.
Alan grinned sheepishly. "It sounded fun."
I gritted my teeth. "You are such an ass Alan." I slapped the back of his head. "What if he got hurt?"
Alan winked. "I get to blindfold him more times."
"Kinky." Ace snorted, smirking at the two.
Alan gave him a stink eye while Logan just rolled his eyes, still pissed on Alan.
"Fuck off, go to that Celia." Logan grunted, motioning Bryan to help him move away from Alan.
Alan chuckled fretfully, rubbing his head. "About that I lied so you all wouldn't suspect anything."
"So you never liked Celia?"
Alan grinned uneasily. "I did at the start but she's uh- into females."
There was a shocked pause until Logan burst out laughing, clapping his hands. "Oh my God! I bet she turned gay after meeting you. Who would want to be interested in guys if they were like you?"
Alan glowered at his best friend. "Your favorite cousin, that one with short brown hair and green eyes. What was her name?" He paused, fake thinking while Logan narrowed his at him. "Oh yeah Racheal, she's one hot piece of ass."
"Don't even think of it." Logan warned. "Not only is she elder to you but also sensible enough to not fall for your high school stupid tactics."
Alan grinned cheekily. "That's what you think but I don't after what happened last time."
Logan gritted his teeth. "What happened?" he demanded, looking around for something to throw at Alan.
I rolled my eyes at them. "He's just kidding Logan, you know Racheal likes that guy, Colton."
"I don't like him too." Logan whined. He was so protective of his cousin, almost as if she was his real sister. It was kind of cute until he started keeping tabs on her boyfriends and scaring them away.
"Cookies anyone?" My mother's voice rang through the kitchen and within seconds Alan had disappeared with Logan shouting from behind at him. "Yeah I'll just run sitting on the wheelchair with no one's help. Thank you, you dipshit."
Alan laughed from the kitchen. "I think I love having you in that wheelchair. More cookies for me."
Bryan shook his head as he pushed Logan's wheelchair into the kitchen. I smiled at them, who had thought the leader of Trouble Triggers would be pushing Logan's wheelchair?
"Have you told him you love him unconditionally?"
I turned, shocked by the voice. "Sean? What are you doing here? How did you enter?"
I glanced behind him to find the front door wide open. Of course Alan and Logan didn't the meaning of 'shut the fucking door'.
He shrugged. "So have you?"
I blew a breath of air suddenly feeling nervous. My brother and dad were upstairs, Mom, Logan and Alan were in the kitchen, Bryan would come here soon and if anyone saw Sean here, World War III was sure to start. I motioned for Sean to come out in the back garden where hopefully no one would come.
"No I haven't yet." I answered his previous question once we were finally out.
"You should tell him as soon as possible, life's short."
I nodded. "Yeah I know that now. But why are you here?"
He pushed his hands inside his jeans pocket. "I need to talk to Bryan." He eventually replied.
I raised my eyebrows. "For what? I don't think he wants to talk to you."
"I know, I just want to apologize. Yes I did want to hurt him but not that much." He then grinned audaciously. "He also owes me a thanks."
"For what?"
"If I hadn't broken them up he would still be with Anastasia and he wouldn't have fallen for you." Sean winked at me making me chuckle.
"I doubt he-"
My words were cut short when Ace came from behind me, snaking his arm around my waist possessively. "You're right, so thank you now get yourself out of here."
I elbowed his chest. "Stop being so rude Bryan, he just came to apologize."
Sean snorted at that. "I no longer want to."
"Good so you can leave."
I blew an angry breath, stepping away from Bryan. "You two..." I pointed at both of them. "... need to sort out your problems okay. So I am leaving you two over here and giving 10 minutes. Shout, punch, scream, glare, talk, I don't care but when I come back you two should be hugging with no grudges. Get it? Good. You 10 minutes start now." Without waiting for a reply I made my way into the house.
I heard both of the complaint but I briskly ignored them.
Having a grudge is like having a dreadful disease, the longer you have it the more you feel sad and sick.

..
"So how did you two patch up?" I asked, tapping away on my laptop.
Ace turned his head way from the football match. "We didn't 'patch up' just talked little."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah yeah. It was pretty shocking to see you two actually hug."
I looked up to see Ace scowl. "Don't ever make me do that again. I need to have a bath now."
"You're being so dramatic."
"So what are you doing? Your dumb story again?" He inquired, changing the topic.
I nodded as much as I wanted to know what they talked about I knew Ace would tell me when he felt like it. I wasn't going to force it out of him. "And my story is not dumb."
"Sure." He snorted sarcastically. "What's it about?"
"Your ass." I grumbled under my breath.
He grinned smugly. "How many chapters?"
I rolled my eyes. "Just one word. Tiny."
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
He swiftly let that subject, going to a worse one. "Why don't you tell anyone about it?"
I shrugged. "Because I don't want to?"
He narrowed his eyes at me. "Are you scared of criticism or you are self-conscious?"
I choked on breath. "No-none." I shuttered but unfortunately he was right on point. I was scared of what my friends might think, if they would love it or just shake their heads piteously at my writing. I was insecure of my writing skills and was happy with unknown people reading and voting or commenting on it.
Criticism from a stranger can be ignored but from a friend it pricks the heart.
I didn't realize when Bryan had rounded come in front of me and closed my laptop. I blinked when he held my chin under his thumb, gazing into my eyes. I felt my breath shutter as I stared in those chocolaty orbs. Oh I so wanted to say those words right now!
"You have no reason to fear. I am sure you write awfully well." He whispered.
I smiled at him. "I hope so."
"I know so."
I grinned and closed the distance, savoring the feel of his lips on mine. He bit my lower lip, his arms bringing me closer to him. The laptop slid from my lap on the bed and we both didn't care. I crawled on his lap, turning the kiss more intense. I bit his bottom lip and he groaned, the mere sound sending shivers of pleasure down my body.
I pushed him back, making him fall on the bed and kissed him harder, tongues mingling with each other. His hands reached under tank top, warm hands brushing against the cool skin. I let out a moan when his fingers brushed my navel, going further down.
His lips trailed down my neck, nipping and licking. I leaned my head to the side giving him better access. My hands clung to his tee tugging it upwards. He paused his ministrations on my neck and with one flick he stripped of his tee.
"There, touch me." He groaned and I didn't want any further persuasion. My hands glided over his toned chest, running over the dragon tattoo. "Why is this for?" I asked, my fingertips grazing over the fire tattooed on his abdomen.
He bit his lip. "It represents power and victory over bad. I had it engraved when I couldn't take any more of my step-mother's false accusations and controlling nature. I was feeling weak and I needed to feel something. I went to a party and got dunk and somehow landed up in a tattoo parlor. He decided to draw this a sign that I am powerful and can rise from ashes." He paused and grinned. "It also signifies strong sexual desire." Saying that he tilted up his pelvis making me feel his arousal right at my center.
I moaned and pulled him closer before pausing, he stared at me in confusion, his eyes filled with lust. I took a deep breath, "I love you."
He blinked in surprise and then grinned, a grin that made me wetter. "I know you do, what's not there to love?"
I rolled my eyes but my retort was drowned when his lips crashed into mine and his kissed me senselessly, until I couldn't even remember was oxygen was.
"Your turn." He groaned and the next second my top was thrown on the floor. His fingers grazed the under of bra clad breasts and I bit my lip.
"The door." I exhaled, not moving from him.
He groaned in annoyance. "Your family went to the store right?"
I nodded by head. "We have just about 30 minutes until my parents come back from the market." I groaned as his hands massaged my thighs and lips pecked my collarbone.
He looked up. "That's enough time to do it twice."
I raised my eyebrows. "That's some ambition."
He simply winked, pulling off my bra and attacked my breasts with a new found passion.
All thoughts slipped out of my mind as I moaned loudly at the sensation and pleasure. My stomach twisted and I gripped the bed sheets tightly.
And soon we were lost in a land where only happiness and contentment existed.
Yeah, and we definitely accomplished his ambition.
