April had almost forgotten about that as she was more or less angry about... something else.

April: About that, How did that happen?

She asked jumping at the opportunity to change the subject and worrying about your well being as well and You sighed after she asked that as you didn't exactly know how to explain what happened and your feelings are all muddled about the situation as your happy your sister isn't dead, but on the other hand she went down a dark path and you feel responsible somehow even though you couldn't do anything at the time.

(Y/N): Let's just say I had a lot on my mind so I decided to go for a walk and I ended up running for my life from these weird purple ninjas which ended in a chemical factory after they decided to blow it up, nearly killing me.

You realized that makes you sound crazy after saying that, but luckily April knew who you were talking about and she definitely had experienced what you had experienced just without the nearly being killed part and a thought crossed her mind.

April: Why were you walking in the middle of the night?

She was expecting you to crunch up at that question, however...

(Y/N): I was being kicked out of my apartment.

You said with brutal honesty and April didn't expect you to answer that question so quickly and so bluntly too.

Before she continued she realized that you were giving her a look that said Someone's standing right there and another turtle girl who looked like she worked out a lot judging by her muscular form and she was standing in the doorway and a looked little bit surprised.

Racheal: Should I come back later?

April's had a look of surprise and a massive blush was on her face as she turned around.

April: Racheal?!

Racheal just shrugged as she walked in when April was saying something about a slime ball and a shady landlord or something along those lines and she saw you petting what she assumes is your dog with how Roxie stay's by your side.

April: How long have you been there?

She asked clearly embarrassed as she really hope she didn't hear everything.

April then turn to you and without thinking  asked as her brain was a little bit overloaded right now.

April: How did you know?

You raised one of your eye brows as Racheal explain how you knew she was there in one short sentence.

Racheal: He's facing the doorway.

April face palmed after Rachael said that as she knew that you could see the doorway and easily notice someone enter the room she just got overwhelmed with all the information all at once she needs to sort.

Racheal then looked at you and wonder what your name is, but before she can ask you spoke in a polite tone.

Racheal just nodded as she didn't exactly have someone greet her with this much kindness other then the people she knew and she was a bit confused as to why you weren't turning away from her in horror.

You and April noticed that she something was bothering her and the both of you wander what it could be.

April: Is there something wrong?

She asked hoping it's nothing serious and Racheal sighed.

Racheal: No nothing's wrong, I just heard you yelling and came here.

She flatly stated as April realize that the door was wide open and gave a nervous chuckle, yet you wandered why she was still eyeing you.

(Y/N): You got something on your mind?

You asked and Racheal keeped eyeing you, she didn't know what make of you as you didn't feel like a bad person, but you looked worse for wear and it wasn't just your injuries.

Racheal: Yea, why do you look like a train hit you?

That surprised you a bit and April looked at Racheal like she was being a little bit harsh.

April: Racheal!

April giggled after she Roxie barked and you rubbed the back of your neck, However Vail who was still watching from a distance noticed that dog wasn't exactly normal as animals typically understand human language that well.

You said nervously as there is a very hyper Turtle girl right in front of you and she's looking at you like your something out of a fairy tale.

April: Can we talk for a moment Leona...

After she said that Leona nodded to her and looked over to Donna and Michelle, however when she looked over they were already gone and she guessed they already knew they needed to talk alone.

She had a concerned look as April never acted like that before and April breathed in and then she exhaled.

April: You know that boy I have a crush on?

After she asked that question Leona easily put two and two together as she spoke about her crush before, but she never gave a name or a description of what her crush looked like and she guessing it was you that she was talking about.

Both April and Leona jumped after hearing her and they both look over and question how long she was there and what this Solution is, however before they could ask anything Splinter continued.

Splinter: But first, April what made you to come up with that decision?

She asked in a genuine tone and April looked slightly down.

April: I didn't want Leona and the others resigning themselves to lives without someone they can love and with what happened tonight they might not get a better chance.

She answered with a slight blush and Splinter looked over to Leona.

Splinter: What are your thoughts Leona?

Leona let out a sigh as her thoughts were quite clear about the situation.

Leona: I appreciate what April is trying to do, but she shouldn't give up on (Y/N) just for us I mean what if he doesn't find us attractive at all.

Leona stated and Splinter giggled to her confusion.

Splinter: If he can find me appealing I'm sure he'll find you appealing as well.

After she said that April had a I told you so look on her face and Leona just rolled her eyes, however they were still curious about Splinters solution was.

April: So what's this solution?

curiosity clear laced her voice and Leona was curious as well.

After she said that both April and Leona had looks of disbelief, but swiftly realized that she wasn't joking as if it was anyone else but Splinter they would have thought they were and that lead Leona to a question on both of their minds.

April: The short answer is that his being hunted by the Foot clan and he was nearly killed tonight...

She answered and Leona was starting to get why here and not in a hospital right now as they would definitely find you there and she was about to ask why the Foot clan was hunting you, but April continued her sentence.

April: The long answer is a bit more complicated so that will have to wait till tomorrow, but back to the topic we were talking about...

Alex looked happy to see one of her friends again.

Alex: Alopex!

She was in absolute joy as hadn't been here after the incident since her master Shredder had sent her away on a task that was far to dangerous as some form of punishment for hesitating, but that for later she's her now and that's what counts and she proceeded to give Alopex a hug which surprised her.

Alopex: It's good to see you too.

She said with a bit of confusion as Alex broke the heart full embrace and Alopex remember's why she came up here in the first place as she has bad news and good news depending how you look at it.

Alopex: I-

However Alex interrupted her as she was overwhelmed by excitement to show off a trick she had learned.

Alex: You wouldn't believe what I can do now! Watch.

She was interrupted by Alopex who wasn't done with her sentence.

Alopex: That realm is dangerous! Even Shredder couldn't stay in there for more than a day!

Alex was confused as if it was so dangerous why did pull there shadow ninjas from there.

Alex: Don't we summon our Shadows from there?

She asked and Alopex sighed.

Alopex: There's a difference between summoning shadows and walking into there domain.

She stated as Alex took a note not to go in that realm again and Alopex breathed a sigh of relief as she seems to have gotten it into her head as she's usually quite stubborn.

Alopex: I imagine you completed your mission?

Alex nodded as she raised a small rag stained in blood.

Alopex: Good now let's head back to base.

Alex however has something on her mind as she went to see if you were ok and she found your apartment building on fire.

Alex: Before we go I have to ask, have you seen my brother?

Alopex: Your brother is alive...

Alex was relieved to hear that, but what made her worry more is that Alopex still had that look on he face as she continued.

Alopex: But the Clan has targeted him.

She stated which either ment two things to Alex one of them is that they practically signed you death warrant and the other is that you wish they had when they capture you.

Alopex: No, either your brother is missing or he went into hiding with resources we didn't know about...

Alex's was a bit relieved as you won't be spiting up blood anytime soon, but was also worried since the Clan can't find him which should be near impossible for you as she knows your pretty ordinary.

Alopex: Or mabye he's with the Turtles right now.

Even though that was ment to be a jest Alex didn't think that was impossible, in fact if April or August introduce them that would explain why they can't find them.

Alex: You might be right about that.

She stated to Alopex surprise as she must have changed a bit after the misson as hunting down the king of crime must be difficult.

Alopex: In any case we should head back before someone notices us.

Alex nodded.

After they finished there conversation they went separate ways back to Shredder's base as a man in a long coat was watching from a distance on another roof top and radio's his superiors.

Overlord(Radio): We read you loud and clear Foxtrot.

Overlord(Radio): We sure did Foxtrot and it only makes this mission harder to explain to the higher ups if we get caught.

A sigh could be heard over the radio.

As the radio cut out The man looks around and saw a familer face or more accurately familer clothes.
