So far your Dream hasn't deviated from the norm until now and you wondered what changed.

???: After all...

You blinked and saw your sister when she was just 10 and a man cloaked in black with a logging axe in his hand.

Then the man raised the axe over his head and you tried to do anything, but you couldn't move or speak and just as the man swung the axe down you blinked once more and saw a man with no face just a pure white void.

You then open your eyes to see a Traditional Japanese-style room "Where am I and how did I get here?".

Chibi A/N: My first thought would be what type of drug did I take to have that kind of fever dream, but that works too.

A/N: Sometimes I wonder what goes through your head, but I forget your a smaller version of me.

Your head was still spinning from the blast that knocked you back so you decide not to move to much right now, however something soft dropping to your left caught your attention and you turn your head to see...Oh.

You didn't know what to do as there's a rat woman undressing in front of you and she cute too as you were blushing pretty hard, however she is also looking right at you with a slight annoyed expression as you did wake up at an inopportune moment.

(Y/N):...Um...Sorry...

After you said what you think is the right thing to say in this situation you turn your the right facing the wall and She giggled as the boy was trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Splinter: That's your reaction after seeing someone like me?

She asking in a slightly teasing tone while getting dressed.

(Y/N): Well it would be rude to stare when someone is changing.

You said nervously said as you hope that there isn't another concussion coming soon, however you heard a sigh which isn't what you expected.

Splinter: It's ok I should have thought something like this would happen...

She spoke in a resigned tone as she finished getting dressed.

Splinter: After all with how I look now I'm lucky you didn't gasp in horror...

As she said that you turned your head to look at her.

(Y/N): Now why would I do that to someone as pretty and young?

After you said young she started to laugh to your confusion.

Chibi A/N: Isn't Master Splinter 50 years old?

She took a moment to catch her breath before looking at you with a smile on her face.

Splinter: I'm hardly the person to call young.

She said clearly amused by your misunderstanding of her age, but she also wondered why you had a ragged look and why someone like you was walking out at night.

Splinter: I must ask, why were you walking out in the middle of the night?

As she asked that you looked toward the ceiling and thought back to the problems of your life.

(Y/N): I was to worried to sleep in a since and being in a place full of boxes having nothing to do didn't sound like the greatest place to be...

She listens closely as you spoke.

(Y/N):...So I went for a walk late at night thinking about what to do as I was being kicked out of my apartment for no real reason other than the landlord doesn't like me for some reason or he thought I was trouble and he wanted me gone...

She had already known about that as she saw the eviction notice, however there was something else there and she continues to listen closely.

(Y/N):...Turns out that walking in the middle of the night is definitely a bad thing as I ended up nearly being killed by strange purple ninjas that didn't even look human...

She definitely knew who was chasing you now, but something didn't add up as they tried to kill you, but they don't typically destroy the positions of someone they want dead and a thought crossed her mind.

Splinter: Can I ask you something?

She asked and you thought it couldn't hurt to hear what she wanted to ask as you are in her home and you nodded.

Splinter: Did you have a relative or friend that went missing with out a trace?

You had a surprised look on your face as she hit the nail on the head.

(Y/N): Yeah! My sister went missing around two years ago.

She had a slight worried look on her face as you had just confirmed her suspicions. They didn't want to kill you anymore they want to recruit you and that might be worse than death if your related to the person she thinks your related to.

You said thinking that you'll be hunted for the rest of your days which made her jump a little as she was in deep thought, however before she could respond your phone started to ring and luckily it was by your side. You picked it up to see Augusts was calling you and answered.

You were surprise to hear April's voice instead of August.

April: Hey (Y/N) you doing ok?

You wondered why April was using August's phone even though it wasn't exactly rare for this to happen, however August seems to be talking to someone else in the background as the phone seemed to on speaker.

(Y/N): Yeah I'm doing ok I was just walking to clear my head.

After you said that you put the phone on speaker and you just noticed sirens in the background.

April: Your lucky that you did that other wise you would have been in the building when the fire started.

That got your attention and you wondered if it had anything to do with the incident that happened a few hours ago.

(Y/N): Did they find were the fire started?

You asked hoping that they didn't start it were you think, but in the back of your mind you already knew the answer.

April: Yeah it started in your apartment and it looked like it was caused by a gas leak.

You mentally groaned to yourself as you had just fixed that a week ago, but you never had anything around the house that could cause a fire and you sighed.

You asked hoping it wasn't bad, however what she said next didn't exactly brighten your day to say the least.

A/N: Interesting answer Chibi A/N, now back to the story.

Chibi A/N: *Proceeds to burn (Y/N) apartment building with HOLY FIRE*

You can't decide between seething rage or extreme disappointment, but you weren't going to yell at your childhood friends for not being able to do anything so bitter acceptance it is and you let out a slightly long sigh.

(Y/N): Any good news?

You asked hoping that there was a beacon of light in this deep pit of bad luck.

April: Well yeah, your dog is ok, Aren't you?

After she said that a dog barked, however you didn't remember a owning a dog as the apartment building didn't allow pets, but then you remembered that there was a stray Saint Bernard that always visited you when you went to work and you always gave it food before you went on the bus, however it always seemed sad when you left and it was over joyed when you came back from work as it usually jumped on you effectively pinning you to the ground and licked you face.

(Y/N): At least he's-

April interrupted you before you could continue.

April: She's save, you didn't know the gender of your dog?

Most people would probably think April was being pretentious, but you knew she was only fooling around as she already knew the dog was a stray since you told her about it and she had a teasing tone as well.

(Y/N): Har Har.

You said jokingly and you heard her giggle over the phone.

April: Well bring her home with us until you find a new place and speaking of strays were are you going to stay?

She said practically asking you to stay with them and you looked over at the woman who saved you to see the her giving you the "Not a good idea" stare as she would have thought it to be a great idea if the foot clan didn't do something like burn a building just to make sure you didn't have a place to go.

You heard her let out groan of disappointment as she really wanted you to stay with them, however August chimed in.

August: Don't worry (Y/N) should be fine and besides my wife would kill me if we brought (Y/N) let alone...um...what's the dog's name?

You had never really name the dog, however before you could really say anything April gave her idea of what the dog should be named.

April: Can her name be Cookie?!

You heard the dog whine when April suggested that name and you let out a little chuckle as did August.

August: I don't think she wants to be named Cookie.

August said still chuckling to the chagrin of April and you thought about what to name the dog and an idea popped in your head.

(Y/N): How about Roxie?

Chibi A/N: I would have named her Potato, but Roxie works too.

A/N: *Sigh* of course you would.

The dog happily barked after you said that name and April let out disgruntled humph.

August: Well it looks like her name's Roxie, isn't that right girl?

You hear the dog happily bark again and April let out a groan of defeat.

August: Well we better get back home before my wife start's to worry.

You remembered that August wife was always a worry wart, but that didn't mean she was bad if anything it means she cares for him deeply. You were about to say goodbye before April yet again interrupted you.

April: Hey come visit us some time ok!

You chuckled as both of them we're still as energetic as ever.

(Y/N): I'll try to, until then the both of you stay safe.

August sighed as he was clearly getting tired.

August: We'll try to, we'll see you later.

You smiled as they at least promise to try not to get into trouble.

They then hung up and you sigh as you wandered how you were going to tell them what kind of situation your in.

Splinter: It's good to hear those two are doing well.

She said happy that those two are alive and well.

(Y/N): You know them?

You said clearly surprised as you never heard them mentioning a rat woman before, although it would be very hard to believe now that you think about it.

Splinter: Yes I know them quite well as they often run into my students.

You were surprise to hear the she had students as she didn't seem like the fighting type, but looks can be deceiving.

(Y/N): What are your students like?

You asked wandering if there like her or not and she gave you a soft smile.

Splinter: I'm sure you'll find out soon enough, but I imagine you must be tired.

You slowly get up so you don't reopen your wounds and sit in criss cross position.

(Y/N): Not at all, after nearly being blown up I feel like I just drank about a gallon of coffee.

You said that like you haven't even gotten blown up a few hours ago and she found that a little strange as normal people would be knocked out for weeks or worse dead from how hard you hit the wall and even with your wounds which would hospitalize any normal person you aren't to fazed by them, however she wasn't going to stop you from doing what you wanted.

Splinter: Then shall I make tea while we wait?

She asked calmly and you thought tea sounds good right now.

(Y/N): That sounds great, but can I ask you something?

She looked at you and nodded figuring answering a question wouldn't hurt.

(Y/N): What's your name?

You asked with surprised her a little as she had completely forgotten to introduce herself.

Splinter: My name is Splinter.

Chibi A/N: But that's not her real name.

A/N: Don't worry it will come up later just not right now.

You thought that was an interesting name and you thought to yours as you didn't want to be rude.

(Y/N): My names (Y/N).

She giggled as she never encountered someone so young to have this much manners.

Splinter: It's nice to meet someone as polite as you (Y/N), I'll be back in a moment.

You saw her went out of the room and saw quite a mess of what looks like pizza boxes everywhere and you wondered if her students lived with her as she seemed to be a clean person judging from her room, however a hushed voice which surprised you.

???: Hey over here!

The voice sounded close, but you looked every around you and see nothing other then what was already there.

???: Down here!

You looked down and saw a very tiny snake that had an odd scale color which gave it kinda of a steely color, but this couldn't have been making that voice could it?

Odd Snake: I know what you thinking and yes I was the one trying to get your attention.

Not a lot surprise you anymore as you did just have a great conversation with a woman that's half rat even though you briefly saw her naked of a moment and she saved you from purple shadow ninjas after they tried to kill you in the most loudest why possible and still remain hidden to the world.

Odd snake: Oh don't tell me you have brain damage or something.

You had completely forgotten about the talking snake in front of you and it just saw you give it the most unimpressed stare and you spoke in a hushed voice so that Splinter didn't think you were crazy.

(Y/N): No just a lot happened in on day that would make any normal person question reality.

It didn't know what you went through to be in that state of mind, but it really doesn't want to find out even though your well being is it's job right now or at least it thinks that's it's job right now.

Odd snake: Well that explains a lot.

You wandered why it was talking to you in the first place as it didn't seem to be enjoying itself right now.

(Y/N): Who are you by the way?

It slightly jumped as it realized it needed to tell you why it's here and who it is.

Odd snake: I'll make it brief so no one thinks your crazy.

It said trying to hurry it's explanation.

Vail: My name is Vail and I have been assigned to you for something, but I don't know what my duties are or if I'm able to do anything as you can clearly see by my form.

You were confused about that last bit as so far you haven't seen anything that can shift it's "form", but before you could ask it continued.

Vail: I know you're thinking about my form and to put it simply, my kind doesn't have forms like you have as we can choose what ever we are and what we look like at any given time, but it seems will im here I'm stuck in this form.

Chibi A/N: So is it a girl or a boy?

A/N: I think it can choose to be both if it wanted to.

Vail sighed as she doesn't know if it was it's Master or if there isn't enough energy in the land as it was being drained somehow, but it wasn't from the machine's of man that was doing it despite how destructive they can be and yet she can't seem to since the source of it.

(Y/N): So your stuck being a small snake?

You asked hoping to know more.

Vail: I'll answer more later the woman who saved you might comeback at any moment so for now just know I'll be watching over you for now on, you got that?

It said quietly and hastily so you nodded your head so you didn't have to make noise.

Vail: Good.

When you blinked the small snake was gone and that left you wondering if it was even real or not, but you couldn't decide as Splinter walk in with a tray and a tea pot with cups for the both of you.

Splinter: Sorry my students left the herbs for the tea in a odd place.

She sounded slightly annoyed and you can understand why as she kinda has an injured guest here and she comes home to an absolute mess that she had to maneuver around.

(Y/N): It's fine, I know that all to well.

Splinter wonders what you meant by that as your a bit young to know how it feels to  take care of others although she doesn't doubt that's a possibility for people to be raised like that she just thinks someone your age should live a little before having to worry about someone else's well being seeing as everyone only gets on chance to enjoy themselves in life, however it still peaked her curiosity.

Splinter: Really?

She said in a inquisitive tone as she gave you a cup filled with green tea.

Splinter: I thought people your age liked to go out and hang out with friends.

You chuckled as she clearly doesn't know the current generation, but you didn't spend to munch time on the internet like most people do as you did have a job back then and you had friends outside of the internet as well.

(Y/N): Oh I still go out to see August and April when I can, but this week has taken its toll on me.

You then take a sip of your tea and the both of you begin to talk about what happened during the week while Vail watch from a distance in a hidden spot.

Meanwhile in a dark alley...

April was walking down an alley with Roxie they taking a shortcut to her house and her brother had to say at the apartment building to assist with the on going fire, however she was disappointed that you aren't staying with them as she really likes you. She thinks back to her childhood and remembers you being the most mature one of them all as you acted like a big brother to her and August even though you were around the same age as them and you always got them out of trouble even if it meant that you would have to take there punishment by taking the blame. She remembered your sister too she was a bit rebellious as she often tried escaping detention just to have fun with them and you which only got her into more trouble as she recalled.

???: Well well look who we have here.

April jumped after hearing the sinister voice and swiftly turned around to see three thugs behind her and Roxie started growling.

Skittish Thug: I don't know about this guy's that's a really big dog.

His voice was laced with worry as Roxie continued to growl at the thugs and what she assumes is the leader of them scoffs.

Lead Thug: Oh come on we dealt with worse right Steve?

There wasn't a response and the Lead thug turned to look behind him and the thug named steve was nowhere to be found.

Lead Thug: Come on man it's no time for joke's quit playing around.

He them turn to face the skittish thug only to find empty space and he began to panic.

Lead Thug: Come on guys this isn't funny!

April smirked as she knows what's going on which only made the leader mad and he turned around and pulled out a switchblade.

Lead Thug: What are you smiling about?!

He then pointed the blade it April's throat, however before he could harm April a green hand karate chopped the back of his neck and he fell over unconscious as April breathed a sigh of relief.

April: Thanks for the save.

She said with gratitude lacing her voice as one of her good friend's Leona stood in front of her...

Chibi A/N: Finally took you long enough.

A/N: What's wrong with world building?

Chibi A/N: It takes to long for you to introduce the main characters that's what.

Had already came out and was petting Roxie who seems to be enjoying it as she was lightly scratching the back of her ear.

Donna: So when did you get a dog?

She asked April nervously giggled.

April: Well she's not my dog it's a friends he's-

Before she could finish what she was saying Michelle got excited and started asking various questions which April knew would happen.

Michelle: How old is he?! Is he nice?! Does he like Pizza?! IS HE CUTE?!

Before any more questions from Michelle could be asked Racheal pinched Michelle's cheek and pulled slightly.

Michelle: Ow ow ow!

She said in slight pain, Racheal was slightly annoyed at Michelle's antics and they don't need a reminder of how difficult it would be to get a boyfriend with how they look.

Leona: WOULD YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF!

Leona shouted in annoyance to everyone's surprise and made April and Donna jump which was followed by a moment of silence until a small roar of thunder in the distance could be heard and Roxie whimpered.

Leona: We should get back before it rains...

She had regret hanging on her words and Racheal squinted her eyes a little.

Racheal: Fine, come on guys.

After she said that she begin to walk toward the nearest manhole and Michelle and Donna followed behind with slightly worried expressions on their faces, however April and Roxie stayed with Leona.

April: Your still hung up about her aren't you?

She asked in a slightly worried toon and Leona sighed.

Leona: I feel like I failed everyone by not seeing who she really was until it was to late.

April remembered when they found her a few months back, she was a young girl with black hair and red eyes and she seemed to be homeless and miserable at the time and she swiftly gained everyone's trust as she seemed to be a kind and caring person, however she wasn't who she seemed to be and betrayed them as she was apart of the Foot Clan and she nearly killed everyone, but she hesitated and that bought them time to escape and to this day Leona feel's responsible for what happened even though everyone was fooled even Splinter.

April: What happened wasn't your fault, no one expected her to do what she did.

Leona then sighed after April said that as she heard that about 50 time's already.

Leona: She almost killed everyone especially you and August...

She then crossed her arm's and looked down and spoke in a low tone.

Leona: And the only reason why all of us survived was the fact she hesitated giving Michel the chance to knock her out.

A small rain drop landed on Roxie which made her sake as if she were completely soaked as she didn't like to be wet in the slightest.

April: We should probably get somewhere before it rains.

She said looking up at the sky and Leona looked at April knowing that she would have to walk an entire block in the rain.

Leona: If you want you and your friends dog can stay with us for the night.

April looked back down at Leona and had a surprised look as she hasn't stayed at there place in a while, but she liked the idea of not walking back home in the rain and she imagines Roxie wouldn't mind either.

April: Well it does save me and Roxie from getting soaked so sure, but one question.

Leona then raised her brow wondering what she was going to ask as April looked to Roxie.

April: How are we going to get her down a manhole?

Leona then looked to Roxie and pondered how to her Roxie down into the sewers.
