You were walking the streets of Manhattan at night to clear your head trying not to think of your problems, but you can't help but to think about them as there was a lot of them and you thought back to your family. You and your little sister were adopted when your parents found you on their doorstep and they always wanted to have one as they couldn't conceive their own and they couldn't adopted one as they couldn't afford the adoption fee and when you were 3 when your sister was on their doorstep and they adopted her as well. Your family was a very kind on as you were a kind and caring person and your sister was slightly rebellious, yet kind, However your mother and father died when you were 18 and something didn't add up as the police dropped each of their cases with in a week of investigation and they were very unwilling to say how they died and refused to let you see the body's. They were very vague about how or who murdered them and that left you to raise you little sister alone, however after her 16th birthday she disappeared without a trace and you struggled to get your life tougher since then and Now your 20 and you still haven't gotten over it.

???: What are you?!

You heard that and despite you just an ordinary guy who had no idea how to properly throw a punch you rush down to where you heard the scream and you round the corner to see... Purple shadow ninjas? They kinda didn't look human and you seem to have arrived too late to save the woman's life as she looked lifeless on the ground "Damn!" you thought to yourself and the odd looking ninjas turned over and directly stared at you or at least from what you could tell.

(Y/N):...oh crap...

As you said that they get ready to probably kill you and you decide to book it anywhere away from here and on the bright side for ninjas their pretty clumsy, but there were far more of them then you realize as several kunai flew past you and one of them grazed your leg and luckily it wasn't poisoned so they have stormtrooper aim too and you can rule out this just being a really bad nightmare as the pain was all to real "I swear if there is a god I'm going to have a nice long chat with him if I die here!" you stated in your mind and you see an abandoned chemical plant and you figure that it couldn't hurt to go through a dangerous chemical plant that looks like the most unsafe building in the planet as you already have the risk of impending death anyway so you figured it would be the best bet. As you enter the building you look around for anything to use as a weapon and you realize that the ninja's aren't chasing you inside the building and have disappeared. You start to look around to see why their not following you and quickly realized that there was a reason why this building was abandoned as there's highly explosive chemicals in here and you now know why the didn't follow.

(Y/N): Oh Crap!

You quick try to find a back door and your in luck as there was a heavy rusted metal door, however you hear what sounds like a matchstick lighting. You bolt to to door trying to open it and have a bit of difficulty with it as it was practically rusted shut, but you manage to open it by ramming it with your shoulder and it swing open to an alleyway, but you hear something drop in the distance behind you and you turn around only to be blasted back into the alley by an explosion and got metal shrapnel in various places in the process and one of them hit your gut causing some bleeding. You hit the wall hard enough not to kill you, but it did knock you unconscious and bruised a few of your ribs and thankfully the shadow ninjas being somewhat mindless only look at your body and think their mission of getting rid of any witnesses is complete and return to their master and when they left you slightly regained consciousness as everything was still a bit blurry. You saw a female figure out of the corner of your eye, but you can't make out any features and it looked like she was saying something, however your ears were still ringing from the blast that knocked you down and you feel unconscious once more.

A few minutes ago...

A woman was walking around, but it wasn't just any woman it was Lady Splinter

and she was out looking for suspicious activity as there was a string of missing people and despite not usually doing this she suspected that the Foot Clan was behind this and her students were busy to investigate this.

???: What are you?!

She noted that was not far and wanted to help, but she heard the poor woman fall to the ground and knew she was dead and also heard someone running toward were the scream originated.

???:...oh crap...

As soon as Splinter heard the boy say and then she heard multiple footsteps running toward the nearby abandoned factory, so she decided to try and get there first and took a shortcut there and skillfully avoiding obstacles along the why.

???: Oh Crap!

She heard him yell out as she tries to get there quicker and she heard a metal door being bashed repeatedly and then swinging open that was followed by a large explosion. She saw you bleeding and trying to get back up, but you were to injured to do so.

Splinter: Don't move to much! Your-

Before she could continue she saw the boy collapse and she feared the worse as she ran over to you to check for a pulse and luckily it was there, but it was faint. You were bleeding pretty bad and she had to get you somewhere safe before your pursuers comeback to check if your dead or not and she looked around for the nearby manhole as she doesnt know where you lived and they most likely would send someone there to finish the job. She also wanted answers as if it was the Foot Clan you would have the answer she needs and she finds the nearby manhole and opens it bring you with her. As she makes her way to her home she thinks back to when one of her students was almost killed when she was just a child.

Author: I'm using chochi's comic "TMNT: The Other Beginning" as a point of reference because, A He/She is a really good artist and I like supporting good artists in any way I can, B It's a good short comic, C it'll have relevance in the story later on.

She remembers how she felt she found Rachael covered in wounds and barely alive, how she felt guilty for not being there for them when she tended to her wounds, how angry she felt at herself for failing to protect them, and how useless she felt for having the power to prevent it, yet not being able stop it, but that was in the past and she needed to focus on the present to save the boys life as his breathing was slowly becoming shallow and thankfully she had just arrived to the hideout which is a mess as there was pizza boxes strone about and she sighed when she saw one of them had mold on it, but she ignored it for now as she made her way to her room. She went to the side of the room and laid the boy down on the extra bed spread she had when one of her students gets seriously injured and she took his jacket and shirt off to examine his wounds and in the process a few things fell out, but she was to focus on tending to his injuries as the only serious injury that she can she was shrapnel lougheed in his stomach as the rest of the shrapnel wasn't deep enough to cause any major damage. She also noted that he also had a few of his ribs were bruised, but nothing that cannot heal over time and now knowing what she needed to treat she began to mend the boys wounds.

10 minutes later...

Lady Splinter had just finished bandaging his wounds after she stitched them as she looked over the boy and she noticed the item's that fell out of his coat. She saw what looks like a wallet, a piece of paper, a picture, and a odd looking rectangular device(Cell phone). She looked at the wallet and found a Driver's license.

Splinter: (Y/N)...

She said to herself and also saw that you were around the same age as her students...

A/N: I know that there meant to be teenagers hence the name "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", but I'm just doing it for convenience.

Chibi A/N: That and it's a cool name!

...on the bright side she now knows your name, but that left where you lived. She looked at the peace of paper and saw that it was a eviction notice that was explaining that new tenant's would be replacing the old ones which if April's older brother August has anything to say about it that shouldn't be possible. She giggled to herself after remembering her students use to flirt with August until both him and his sister had to tell them that he was married and the looks of embarrassment on their faces when they realize they were flirting with a married man was priceless, however the picture caught her eye as it had a family of four on it. There was a younger version of you and a girl with what she assumes is your father and mother as it looked like the four of you were having a birthday party for the girl and all of you looked happy, however she noted that both of the children didn't look like their parents such as the girl having black hair with red eyes and assumes that you and the girl were adopted and she can't shake the feeling that she saw that little girl before and she can't quite put her tongue on it, however the device started ringing like an old telephone which made her jump a bit. The phone had a red phone and a green phone as well as August's name displayed on the screen. She wanted to let it ring out as it would be really hard to explain why she had your phone and the fact that it might not be the same August she knew, but if it was the August she knew he could probably help, however before she could decide what she was going to do it it stopped ringing and shut off making a ding sound.

Chibi A/N: We get it, she isn't fluent in modern day technology and is very careful, can we go a little bit faster?

A/N: Ok ok I'll try to speed things up a bit.

It then started to speak.

Phone: You have 1 voice mail from... "August O'neil" playing message.

When Splinter heard August voice she breathed a small sigh of relief.

August: Hey (Y/N) just calling to see if you were ok...

His voice sounded a little bit distressed and there's a faint crackling noise with some sirens in the background.

August:...Seeing as your apartment building is...on fire and-

Suddenly a explosion could be heard in the background and she got a bit more concerned for his safety and confused as if it was the foot clan who did this they wouldn't be this loud about it... Unless...

August: Someone get those fire's out before it spreads to the whole street!

She was relieved that he mentioned there was people other than him there as August was a detective for the local P.D and he is one of the reason why her and her students went under the radar with the other being his sister April being a reporter for the daily news as they can effectively hide any information they may expose them to the public and it doubles as protection from anything that wants to take them out as their absence wouldn't go unnoticed if the disappeared.

August: I'll try and call you back later and stay safe...I got a bad feeling about this.

The device then beep after August finished his sentence and she thinks back to why the foot clan would do something like this...

Meanwhile with August...

August looked on as the Firefighters put people out and put the fires out.

???: August O'neil?

He turn to the sudden Voice behind him to see a Man around his mid 30s with short Black hair with a beard and Hazel eyes wearing a white leather jacket with a red shirt with fingerless gloves and jeans with boots covered by the jeans.

August: Is there something you need sir?

His calm demeanor betrayed how annoyed he was as he was supposed to be sleeping by now and he really didn't feel like dealing with people right now, however what the Man said next got his attention.

Jack: The names Jack Rouge. I'm with the FBI and I'm hoping you could fill in some blanks.

August was immediately suspicious about Jack's clam of being a FBI agent as he doesn't exactly look like one as he looks sketchy at best untrustworthy at worst. He looked around for someplace private and finds an alleyway and he spoke in a hushed voice.

August: Fine but not here there's to many people here and this is sensitive information.

He then gestured toward the alleyway and Jack sighed and nodded and they made the way to the alley and go just deep enough so the people couldn't listen in. Jack was facing the back of the alley and when he turn around he saw August with his gun drawn.

August: I know your not an FBI agent so who are you?

August demanded as he would like to know why Jack if that even is he name wants. Jack raised his hands and looked at the gun and back to August.

Jack: Ok you got me, but I wasn't lying about asking a few questions.

Jack said while inching closer still looking at August who was getting a little bit nervous.

August: You stay right there or-

Before he could finish Jack darted forward and disarmed him and knocked him down and put him in a hold.

Jack: Or what? Shoot me with a gun that has its safety on?

Jack pointed out with a hint of a mocking tone.

August: How-

Then a pair of dog tags were dangled in front of him.

Jack: Some advice don't make your intentions that blatant.

He then released August from the hold allowing him to get up and brush himself off.

August: You could have said you are-

Yet again he was cut off by Jack who had a smirk on his face as he looked at August's annoyed face.

Jack: Was military I was "Honorably Discharged" or how you would put it fired.

August was confused as there must have been a reason for Jack to be discharged.

August: So why were you discharged?

Jack smirk faded as he had a much more serious look.

Jack: I was looking into something and they didn't like what I found out.

He then pulled out a rag that looked like a headband.

Jack: Can you tell me...

He then showed the headband to August and he instantly knew the symbol.

Jack:...Have you seen this before?

A/N: And thats is It for Chapter 1!

Chibi A/N: Your just gonna leave them hanging?! You haven't even gotten to the Turtles introduced!

A/N: I know, but this is pretty long for one Chapter and I don't want it to be to long.
