Tom stopped walking and looked at the speaker. Good job y/n! He has noticed you. 

"Rude." He sneered and tuned fully towards me. I smirked and closed the book to look up, he was looking at me, it was death stare. If looks could kill then I surely would have been dead by now. I stood up without breaking the eye contact and folded my arms in a protective manner. 

This is I've won many of staring contents before but it was torture to look in his hypnotic eyes. It had been more than a minute but we were still not ready to accept defeat. He was getting irritated but the only thing I could think about was how magnetic his stare was, when I realized how tall he was. It was now a battle of eye contact. We both weren't in a mood to lose. 

Everyone looked at me in surprise, they were all shocked, they surely never thought that someone would ever dare to challenge Riddle.

"Aren't you wasting a bit too much time in this game Riddle ?" The Malfoy boy spoke. And boom! Tom was the one to look away first. And that means...I won!

I smirked at him and his eyes widened when he realized that he looked away first. The Malfoy is surely going to have a hard time today. Tom didn't really show much emotions after his defeat he simply walked way, but the one thing he knew was that I know he lost to me. I bet he'll keep thinking about me the whole day. And that's what I want, I want him to think about me, I want him to think about me in a way he thought about no one. I need to make him understand that I am not a filthy powerless animal like the others. Three other boys followed him, one was the Malfoy and I don't think I recognize the other two. 

"He will remember this !" One of the boys said while passing by me. "Shut up Avery !!" Stephanie shouted after him and pulled me close to her. My gaze followed the three boys and they did the same. The platinum blonde winked at me before leaving the room. What's that supposed to mean?

Stephanie grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room.

Once we were in an empty corridor without any student in sight she muttered "What's wrong with you? You got into a fight on your first day!" 

"I thought it would entertain everyone" I smirked "Wasn't it fun to watch him get defea-" 

"Please don't do something which will make me regret being your friend." Aww she's so kind and friendly.

"I will never get you in any trouble. I promise."

We both smiled at each other and walked towards the courtyard.

Later that day I received all my school supplies in my dorm. And the rest of the day was spent making new friends and planning about my next moves. I wrote a plan in my diary about how I will grow close to Riddle and kill him when he is wandless.
