I wake up with a terrible headache.

When I open my eyes it takes me a few seconds to clear my vision. I was laying on a familiar bed. It took me a moment to realize that I was in Tom's dorm, he was sitting on a chair beside the bed, he didn't react seeing me wake up.

The terrifying memories came flooding back when I looked at him, I shot up straight on the bed. Tom was trying to do something to make me calm down but didn't knew what to do.

"You put a spell on " 

"I put the spell to make you unconscious, you were having a panic attack and I couldn't handle it." He says with his eyes looking down at the floor "I didn't think it would effect you in such a way." He feels bad, not because of the deaths, but because of me. I get a bit closer to him and cup his cold face in my tiny warm hands. Tom still doesn't look at me then gets up from the chair removing my hands from his cheeks, a bit too harshly. What's wrong with him? "Tom?" I was confused "We need to get ready for our classes. You should leave now." His voice was cold once again. Being too tired to protest I got up and left.

When I reached my dorm and checked the time I realized that I hadn't been unconscious for too long. In the classes Tom sat far away from me. He ignored me most of the time. Something's seriously wrong with him.

*A week later*

This is driving me crazy now! WHY IS TOM IGNORING ME!!

We never sit together in the classes, we never have our meals together in the great hall, he doesn't even talks to me anymore!! He even takes care of the Moly by himself! Steph keeps telling me it's for the best. But this can't be happening! The living and dying of so many people depends on my relationship with him!! I can't let him ignore me for much longer.

It was night time but I couldn't sleep, nightmares of Tom Riddle Sr. were haunting me. I was too bored of staring at nothing so I got up from the bed and planned to go for star gazing at the astronomy Tower.

*At the Astronomy Tower*

*3rd person POV*

It was the perfect night for star gazing. Y/n felt calm when she looked at the vast blue sky full of shiny stars. She smiled the purest smile, she was happy, for a moment she forgot all the responsibilities she had of saving the world. But she still thought about Tom, she couldn't forget him, she couldn't distract herself from him. She loves him and that is the reason why she had given up the idea of killing him.

Tom was present there too, he followed her to the Astronomy tower. He stood in the darkest corner, staring at the beautiful hearted girl who was gazing at the stars, and the stars who were gazing back.

"You stole my spot." He said breaking the silence. Y/n turned back, she didn't flinch or react but she was shocked to see him there "And you stole my heart." "I didn't knew you had one." Tom said and walked closer to her, he was standing beside her now.

"I had one but I gave it to you." There was something sad in her tone.

"Are you blaming me for that?" (T.R.)

"No I'm not. I should have seen this coming." (Y/N)

"What are you talking about?" (T.R.)

"I should have known that you would toss me away like Elizabeth." (Y/N)

Tom clenches his fist and tries not to get angry.

"Elizabeth and you are not the same to me!" (T.R.)

"But yet you are treating me like how you treated her before petrifing her! Are you going to petrify me too ?" (Y/N)

"I AM TRYING TO PROTECT YOU !!" Tom lost his temper.

"By ignoring me ?!!" Y/n shouted back.

"Are you not afraid of me even after everything I-"

"I'M WORRIED FOR YOU, TOM! I AM WORRIED THAT YOU WILL MAKE HORCRUXES AND HARM YOURSELF!!" She paused "I'm not afraid of you, I never was and I will never be."

They stared at each other for a moment, it felt like so many years to them. "After your panic attack I was afraid I would hurt you once again." Tom finally admitted and looked down, ashamed. Y/n hesitated for three or four seconds, then threw herself at Tom, catching him up in the biggest, tightest hug of her life. Tom was shocked at first but he felt good in her warm embrace.
