"You could have just said no when he asked for the dance." Abraxas says once we are away from the party, in a dark corridor.

"It would have been rude, you know what Tom can do Abraxas." I look down disappointed by myself. 

"You even dressed in the perfect way to match with him!" His voice echoed in the corridor. 

"It was a coincidence." 

"Lie!" He slammed his hands on the wall, and I'm trapped.

Ugh! I can just kick and get away with this but I don't, I let him finish, he is the victim right now. "You were using me to get to him weren't you?! You were trying to make him jealo—" 

"Leave her alone Abraxas." Another voice echoes in the corridor, unlike Abraxas's voice this one is powerful after all it's the future dark lord who is speaking. But Abraxas has the audacity to not remove his hands.

"Are you waiting for me to use the Imperius curse? Or would you like it if I Crucio you?" Tom points his wand at Abraxas and he finally backs away from me. Tom gives him a death stare which meant 'leave' Abraxas glances at me for the last time before leaving and that's enough to break me into pieces.

I've had a history of breaking hearts, Theodore, Blaise, Draco, Mattheo and now even Abraxas, but none of the previous boys mattered much because they had hurt me at some point but Abraxas, he was different. 'You are saving the world y/n Grey, you need to get the work done! No matter what!' I remind myself and turn to leave but Tom holds my hand firmly.

"I didn't ask YOU to leave." Honestly I'm not ready for Tom's bullshit right now. With a series of quick turns and twists I get my hand out of his grip, simple muggle self defense tricks, I'm thankful to dad for teaching me that. He's shocked for a moment and that gives me enough time to leave but of course he follows me. "Is that how you treat your savior?" Tom asks from behind. I stop to face him. "Why don't you just leave me alone for a moment ?!" He comes closer but I don't flinch or step back.

Then he runs his finger from my forehead to my jaw, putting a strand of hair behind my ear and brings his lips to them "You know why." The whisper sends shivers down my spine "Because of this."

I try to open my mouth to ask a question but before I could even think of one he smashes his lips against mine. I closed my eyes and kiss him back, unable to control myself. He pulls away too quickly. "I-" I tried to speak but Tom puts a finger on my lips. "You will listen." He says giving me Goosebumps "You are the most confident, resourceful and ambitious girl in this school and I want you to be by my side NOT ABRAXAS'S."

"I was just using him to make you jealous." The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them but Abraxas had figured it out, he would tell that to Tom sooner or later so it's better if I tell him.

Tom wasn't angry, he actually looked proud. He lifts my chin with his cold fingers and studies my face as if I'm a beautiful sculpture

"Don't you think you look too innocent for manipulation ?" I smile mischievously at his question.

'Too innocent to manipulate you.' even the thought of this makes me scared especially when he is so close to me. "I want you to be mine, and only MINE." He says pinning me against the wall. "Make me." A smirk forms at the corner of my lips and the next thing I know is his hard lips on mine.
