'Good job y/n! You have finally fucked up everything by using a spell which doesn't belongs to this era and fighting in the bathroom. And now Tom will use this incident to manipulate you!' I thought while walking towards the Room of Requirements.

I really really didn't wanted to go to the Room of Requirements right now, but I have to do it. He can tell Professor Dippet about the duel and then I would be expelled. I wish I had never followed that girl!

As I stepped in the Room of Requirements I finally noticed my wounds. Elizabeth's spells didn't hit me but the shattering of sinks and other materials left a number of minor injuries. I sat on the nearest chair and lifted my skirt studying the deep wound on my thigh, suddenly Tom entered the Room and I tried to hide it as soon as possible but too late his eyes were already fixed on the spot. I cleared my throat to get his attention. His cheeks flushed red when he realized that it was making me uncomfortable.

"Looks like it needs to be healed before it gets worse. I can heal it." He paused trying to find the right words "If you don't mind."

I simply nodded and he knelt down beside me tracing the wound with his wand. It started to heal as he muttered some spells. "What did you do to Elizabeth ?"  

"She will not disturb you ever again." He occupied the chair opposite to me "Now stop asking more questions because it's time for you to answer some!"

"Will you tell everything to professor Dippet? Will I get expelled?" I paused for him to answer but he didn't so I continued "Will you kick me out of the group ?" He furrowed his brows and looked at me.

"No; to all of them." He replied in his same cold voice but it had some softness. "So you will not tell Professor Dippet about this?"

"This will be our little secret." He said covering the place where the wound was with my skirt, his cold finger brushed over my skin during the process.

I Digged my nails in my palm trying my best not to be nervous.

"What spell did you use on her ?" The softness in his voice faded away. "Sectumcempra." I replied unable to lie to him at this moment.

"And care to explain where you learnt it from ?"

Damn it! There's no way other than lying. I "M-my father taught me." tried not to stutter but unfortunately did.

"Did he make that spell ?"

"I don't know. I never got the chance to ask."

"And you didn't bother to tell me about such an important spell!" He said getting up from his chair, angrily. 

"I-I forgot." 

"Don't ever hide anything from me. Is that clear ?" 

"Y-yes." 

"DON'T STUTTER!" He shouted making me flinch "Are you scared of me ?" 

"No." I spoke after finally gathering some courage. "You should be." He smirked  

"Anyways you should go back to your dorm now." I stood up and turned but he grabbed my hand and with a sudden jerk pulled me closer to him. 

"It's not wise to be wondering around the corridors at night time, especially the bathrooms." 

He came a bit closer so he can whisper in my ear. "I've heard the Basilisk has petrified Elizabeth." I knew it was Tom who controlled the Basilisk, I knew he was the one behind this but I still forced myself to look confused and scared. "The...the Basilisk?" There was only fear in my voice, I felt him smirking against my skin. Slowly he removed his lips away from my ear. "Yes the Basilisk has petrified her." "How ?!"

"I think you know the answer." He smiled evilly. I didn't dare to speak. Then he lifted my chin forcing me to look into his eyes.

One wrong step and the game is over. No I can't let that happen, I can't loose.

"What you are thinking is right." He hinted.

"You...you did that ?"

He nodded pulling me more closer.

"So it's better if you start fearing me from now...and don't ever think about quitting the group because now you are trapped darling." 'Oh honey it's you who is trapped not me.' I thought to myself.
