As expected it turned out that Elizabeth was working for Tom. Stephanie felt sorry for not being with me when I need but I successfully convinced her that I was alright.

*The next day*

"I wish Professor Beery makes us partners for the assignment." Stephanie said while we walked towards the herbology class. I wish not, that was the only thing I could think. I want to Tom's partner, I need to get closer to him or else how will I make him fall in love with me ?! "Y/n?"

"Yes" I pulled myself back to reality from my thoughts.

"You weren't listing to me. Were you ?"

"Stephanie I... I think I left my quill in the charms class."

"Oh no! Let's go then."

"You don't need to worry I can grab it. You should go to the class." 

"Fine, as you wish. Just be careful." She walked away and I went to a quiet corner.

Surely I will never get Tom as my partner so I need a miracle, I need good luck! I pulled out the vile of Felix Felicis from my pocket and drank it.

Now I'm going to be the luckiest person.

I wasn't too late for the class but obviously Stephanie didn't ask me anything because I'm lucky right now, no one is suspicious. "Hello I'm Abraxas Malfoy" The platinum blonde spoke in a low voice.

Wasn't I supposed to be lucky?! How can this be good luck. "Umm...hi...I'm Y/n Grey" I said kinda shy, kinda awkward.

"Oh I know who you are. Everyone knows. You are brave newbie "

We both giggled. "So is there something I can help you with Mr.Malfoy." I tried to be a bit formal. "You can call me Abraxas." 

"MR. MALFOY DO NOT DISTURB MISS GREY!" Professor Beery shouted and Abraxas silently went away, but winked at me before leaving. Avery was standing opposite of me and beside him was Tom who was staring at me and Abraxas. "So as I said earlier, today I will divide you all in groups of two and you need to take care of Moly. I hope you all remember the yesterday's lesson, it is a very very weak plant." Professor Beery explained "Now for the grouping, it will be.... Mr. Riddle and Miss Grey, Mr.Malfoy..."

I couldn't concentrate on any of Professor's words after I looked at Tom. He threw a dirty look at me and I rolled my eyes to avoid any suspicion. The liquid luck is working!

After the class I and Stephanie went to courtyard. "I HATE THAT PROFESSOR !! How could he ?!!" Stephanie yelled. "You are being too overprotective protective." I said trying to hold my laugh.

"Here he comes" she pointed at Tom who obviously came with his gang "Aren't you going to talk to him about the assignment ?"

"Yeah, I should" I stood up and started walking towards him. Noticing me he separated himself from his gang. "What brings you here?" That was the most stupid question he asked.

"Is that even a question? We have got an assignment which we need to do together." I sneered.

"I will take care of the Moly, yo-"

"But it is a-" Hecame a bit closer to my face, to SCARE me. "Don't ever dare to speak whenI speak !" He hissed "And don't make me repeat the same thing everagain." 

"What about my grades ?" I gathered some courage andasked. 

"You don't need to worry about them." He started walkingtowards his group. "Asshole !!"I shouted after him, but it's toolate, he didn't look back!
