Rules & Other Info

RULES

1. First come, first served! The first person to comment that they definitely want a plot will get it. I'll put a note at the start of the plot's chapter thing that it's been claimed and tag them in the comments, and also put a ✅ next to the title. Once the first chapter/prologue is posted, I will also add it to my plot shop reading list.

2. Credit is needed! This must be either in the description, or an author's note before the story starts. If you don't follow this rule, you will be blocked and therefore unable to claim any other plots in the future.

3. Tell me if you want to give up the plot/discontinue your story! You can give up the plot at any time, but this will mean that you can no longer write it, even if you've already posted some of it. If you want to discontinue, please send me a message on here or Instagram (@wiselikearavenclaw) so we can discuss what will happen with the plot.

4. Anything marked with * cannot be changed! These are mostly going to be important plot points, although in some things it's possible that I'll mark a title/character name/etc that can't be changed for whatever reason (and if it's one of those, I'll typically give the reason as well).

5. Progress must be made! Within two weeks, you need to at least have one chapter (or prologue) completely written and published. If, after two weeks, this hasn't been done, I'll open up the plot again and message you to let you know.

6. It must stay on Wattpad! Cross-posting to other places is completely fine, so long as you give credit on there as well (something like "plot credit to @wiselikearavenclaw on Wattpad"), but it must be available to read on Wattpad as well.

7. If you do decide to cross-post, please send me a link! This is so I can keep track of what plot has gone where, and to make sure you're not continuing to post after either losing it or giving it up.

8. You can't change a plot's fandom/genre! Each plot will be marked with 'Original' or 'Fanfic', and will have the genre/fandom in the details. These cannot be changed, unless I've given you my express permission to do so (you can message me to ask for permission to change it, but don't get your hopes up).

OTHER STUFF

• Any form of writing is fine! A longer (more traditional) fanfic would be preferred, but I'm completely fine with you writing the plot as a short story, poem/poetry collection, journal/diary of the MC, etc.

• I can help with covers & descriptions if necessary! In fact, it's possible that I'll already have a cover and/or a description for the plot already, because I like to procrastinate actually writing my books by making stuff for other books that I'm never going to actually write 😂

• I've probably already written something! With most of these plots, there's the likelihood that I've got something written, be that a more detailed character analysis for the MC, some lines/dialogue from the story, a longer and more rambly plot description, some general ideas of plot twists and stuff, or occasionally even part of a chapter. If you want any of this (see each individual plot's info to know what I have for that plot), just let me know!

• I'm more than happy to give inspiration! If you get stuck with how to move the story forwards or where the plot goes next, just message me on here or Instagram (again, @wiselikearavenclaw) and I'll be happy to help!

• You'll almost certainly need to think of major parts of the story yourself! Many of these plots are just going to be 3am rambling, with possibly a dash of editing-the-details-when-I've-had-a-decent-amount-of-sleep-so-there's-some-semblance-of-sense-in-them, and therefore may be missing key parts of the story. You're going to have to be creative when it comes to this — don't just write a story with bits missing because you didn't want to add to or change any of the plot at all.

Side note — I got most (if not all) of these rules from turnthepidge , who you should definitely go follow because I told you to 🙃 (and she's also just an amazing writer 😂).

I think that's everything! Please make sure you follow all these rules if you've claimed a plot, else you may be blocked, have the plot taken from you, or both.

Now, onto the actual plots!
